Had a good look around a few areas similar to the description before realising this hadn't been found for a while.
Not her, didn't realise this hadn't been found for awhile. Needs checking out and replaced.
A group of us on a caching adventure weekend, but no adventure here for us. Maybe muggled? or a we cached out? Thanks anyway great little reserve.
On a geocaching weekend with some great geobuddies, we hope to get loads of caches this weekend. Sadly not this one though - four of us looking and no luck, we suspect it's been muggled.
Yay found it. Not where we first thought, but was really obvious and open when found, Rehid with some cover. Tftc
Found a way into the secret. ..In spite of the gps's "yelling and pointing".. rustled around in the wrong one for a while. .thinking the other was just too obvious,:)...lucky some one had left a pen in the real one mind...lol

In town for a couple of days.
Found the cache very exposed.
Tried to hide it better.
Nice little reserve.

Out for an early morning stroll from Buffalo beach. Disturbed by a muggle with dog but he carried on.

We DNF'd this one when we were here in September 2013, so we returned for the find. A huge cache!
Someone had left a 'shot' glass (full- the second one we have found this holiday),so we took that out and added a plane and a raft. TFTC.

Nice and quick find. Didn't even need hint. Dropped off TWO TB's in this very large Cache. TFTC
On a bit of a crusade today and Wild Tui and I swooped in here with not too many muggles around and found this one in fairly short order. We left it a bit more camouflaged so I hope the next person finds it ok
Exposed find today with CrazyKea but recovered the cache well to stop muggles from seeing it. Was a bit puzzled by the two containers with two separate log books but signed both anyway haha. There was still a good looking alcoholic shot in there all sealed up but left that one for someone else TFTC TNLN.

A quick easy find, although the cache is regular, not small, in fact the largest cache we have found on the Coromandel. TFTC
Another weekend... Another mission... Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are working on several challenges right now. Who needs sleep anyway... (It's overrated). By the end of today, we will record our longest caching day to date (21 hours); complete a circuit of Coromandel Peninsula; find lots of caches; cover a huge number of kilometers; and race against the heavy rain forecasted for the region...
A quick walk to the cache after driving part way up the path TFTC.

On another road trip with Squirrel Nutcase to collect the 309 trail so thought we should pick up a few more caches as we passed. Started our adventure at 6am Saturday and back home at 3am Sunday with 91 caches in hand. Best ever day caching or should I say day and a bit.
3.35pm - Quick walk to a quick find. SLTFTC

We had a spare day so it time to head up the coast to find some caches that were new for us
and weather was good TFTC But why is there 2 caches under the log together, a big one which
is hard to cover up and a small one both in good condition I signed both logs just in case

A quick find during a day's exploration and cache finding in the area. The hardest bit was finding the right access and fortunately some informed guesswork paid off on the first attempt. Signed log, TFTC!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Parked on street nearby, walking past the big tree acting like a guardian. Had the GPS bounce about at GZ, but eventually the cache revealed itself. Thanks again for the hide.

Exploring Whitianga, here for the weekend only, so what better way to see the place, is to look for some caches. Lovely park, was fooled as the GZ, but after increasing search area, the cache was ours. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here, luckily no one home today, otherwise they might have wondered what we were up too!
Lovely reserve and a quick find to make up for the one across the stream which has disappeared.
Such a lovely reserve. an easy find until 4 muggles came along something tells me they wont be muggles for long though.Very interested.
Tried to get to this one from Across the Creek, but no luck, couldn't work out how to get to it, so we failed.
Our last cache of 2013 - cool little spot here right by the river (which as we were walking up to the cache we were hoping we didn't have to cross!). Thanks for the hide
Nice easy find. Would love to own a Bach nearby to here, such a beautiful part of the country. TFTC. Happy New Year.

A mighty big container. Good to see after all the mint tins! Great location tflc
Cache was fully exposed so an easy find, tried our best to disguise with logs of rotten wood.
Nice quick find with good clue.
Thanks very much to the locals and others for showing us around on our first visit to this lovely area. We are celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary holidaying and having fun geocaching together.

Quick find with corenz. Logged a few days after the fact due to the app not connecting at the time. TFTC
Picked up on a day out in Whitianga. Would never have found this reserve otherwise. TFTC.
Spent the weekend in Whitianga and as it was too windy on Sunday to just sit on the beach, we decided to go for a little drive and find some geocaches. A lovely little spot, and a nice quick find. Took TB (travel ingot), but no sign of the geocoin unfortunately. TFTC!
Lovely little reserve even if we did approach from wrong end. Spent time trying to spot eels in the creek after. TFTC.
On a Geocache mission from Coromandel to Whitianga and back. Almost bought a house, which backed onto this reserve. Finished up in Rotorua instead. The nice little cottage, which we were looking at was knocked down and an ugly monstrosity has been built in it's place. Thanks for taking us back surf5a.
Walked down the hill from Jacquie's place to find this one, saw some Pukeko's in the paddock across the stream...Thanks for the smiley!!!
10.50am. Not a great reserve but there is a walkway that looks like it goes to the beach. Easy find.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Easy stroll to the end of the reserve. Bkj97 spent time checking out a distracting log while I believed the gps. T4TCSL
Not so secret anymore. Thought I had it sussed but the chicken was scratching about and got me back on track. Good to see a bridge across the stream has been provided. TFTCSL
I sat on the bank and laughed as Mr P jumped across the creek - all good, missed the right tree, not so good, found the cache, excellent and then jumped back but not far enough and landed in the water - hilarious. t4tc
Found TB after first being on the wrong side of the stream. Didn't really want to jump it as it was a bit slippery, so walked around:)
The little stream was a bit high to jump so went around to the end of the road and came down the other way.
