Went to find this on a non sporting day. No luck, think it has either been muggled or fallen into the tree. Used camera to see if I could see anything there and nothing.
Searched for over minutes and no luck. I hope the zoo keepers haven't caught up with zebra.
High traffic area, beware of council workers using the nearby car park as a rest stop
Took my 2 year old on a bike ride today to find our first cache!! Muggles watched me a few times 'stretching' against a tree and asked if I was ok!!! Ha ha, 'yep fine thanks', just a tight gastrocnemius!!! That stumped them! TFTC.

The tree containing the Zebra seems to have moved in the past few months, it is now approx 5m north of the building

Could not find that sneaky zebra. Hopefully the next animal won't be so evasive
No luck to many muggles and a courier truck watching couldn't have a good look TFTC
Found @ 1704!
Find #2 today and seventh escaped animal to have captured!
Arrived @ 16:54 and started to search one of the trees, but noticed a muggle in a ute staring right at me!
Went to nearby bench to sit and wait...
It looks like he was waiting until 17:00, when he drove off!
After searching a few trees I eventually found Zebra @ 17:04, a fair distance from the Listed Coordinates...

Many moons ago I lived on Baden St so this is my old stomping ground (geddit? lol). The zebra was sleeping so I managed to creep up to his hiding spot and find him quickly. Now off to find me some more runaways ?? TFTC
This took quite a while to locate and in the end I had to widen my search considerably from my GPS reading.
Thanks blingg
Thanks blingg
Found mister Zebra this morning with FebeOyam. The kids loved the container, and so did we! Thanks for the cache.
The zebra is still there, just not exactly where I expected him to be.
When I first arrived at the site I thought that I had spotted one of his legs and proceeded to reach for him. I couldn't quite extract and then lost sight of it altogether.
I gave up and checked an adjacent tree and there he was!! Magic.

Glad the Zebra has come back. I think the trees were making my GPS play up too so I just searched all the nearby areas and found him! Think I may have been spotted by muggles appearing from nowhere as I was putting the cache away. Hung around long enough for them to leave to make sure they didn't check the cache. Thanks for another zoo expedition
After a lunch meeting in Leederville I decided to stop in at a few caches on the way home. This was the third one.
After this one was replaced recently I actually came here the other day, but there were two old biddies sitting on chairs over by the hall talking and after waiting for 20 mins it didn't look like they were going to move so I headed off.
Today I came back and there was no one around except the guy sitting in his truck in the carpark, but he soon left, so I could search unhindered.
I started off searching the trees where the GPS put me, and gradually widened my search, by quite a lot before I found the cache some distance off. I think the GPS was struggling under the trees.
On my way back to the car I found a small bird at the base of one of the trees, flapping around and basically doing somersaults, but going nowhere, and very much in distress. So I quickly googled 'wildlife rescue' and rang up the native animal rescue centre in Malaga, and they said 'bring him in' so I did.
Thanks for replacing this cache blingg!

I sat down for quite a while waiting for several people to move away, before beginning my search. I didn't quite expect to find him where I did. TFTC
Looks like he was zebranapped !
replaced in the original location but well covered by leaves and bark,
please replace similarly

Three muggles were having a chat near the GZ, so my opportunity to conduct a thorough search was limited. I searched the big tree that the GPS was pointing to, but came up empty. Hopefully the poachers haven't got him.
Argh... my run of zoo escapees came to an end here.
My GPS was pointing at a spot of grass between the toilet block and the trees, and I searched the nearby tree as well as all the other trees in the entire area thoroughly. Also searched the corners of the toilet block, under and inside both meter boxes, inside the various grates around the place.
I must have searched those main trees 10 times each, and dug out every crevice, but no Zebra was forthcoming. Perhaps he's gone for a holiday...

Ganged this one on the way to work thismorning. Came past once before but the gates were locked. Luckily the closest one was open this time, so in and out for a very quick find. TFTC.
We picked up coffee from bp and took a stroll on the oval. A few people around with dogs but a nice quick find. Tftc.
(Catch up log)
Out for a day of caching north of the river with Chwiliwr. This of the last of the escapee animals that we had to find today and it was found without problems.
Thanks blingg for the cache.

I love this little animals series we found Mr Zebra in the dark tricky but I guessed correctly as my phone was screwing up
I had to come over to this part of the world for some bits for the house and picked up a few caches whilst over here. I couldn't see the cache but found it when i felt for it. TFTC.
Met up with iluvtrekking this afternoon to combine resources to round up the escapees. With his distinctive markings, it didn't take long to spot him.
How excited we were to see that we had a series of new caches right near our house.
So we looked today for Zebra AND tiger, and couldnt find either of them
So we gave up before looking for the rest in the series. I wonder where we went wrong, we spent a good amount of time searching at both locations. Help anyone?

We tried for this one yesterday but two council mugglers, standing within 3m of GZ were intent on killing time before knocking off for the day. We returned today when there were no mugglers about and found the animal hiding deep in the shadows. TFTC
10:42 - 1st one for the day w/ Team Squirrel W.A. of the Squirrel Conglomerate. Not where I first thought, but nonetheless...
My last one for the series and probably the one that took me the longest to locate. The GPS didn't want to settle and it had me searching a could of likely spots. After much prodding and poking amongst the leaf litter I decided to let my fingers do the looking. The zebra was soon flushed out.
TFTC and thanks for the series Blingg It earns a favourite from me.

Today decided to rescue the Zoo Escape Animals. Was so pleased to spotted the Zebra and signed the log. Thanks Blingg.
Again the GPS didnt settle down I didnt know which the tree??? too many but which one... so DNF for me. Thanks.
I drove right by this Cache yesterday, but it being Mothering Sunday, i didn't want to push my luck and drag the family around grabbing these other locally placed beasts.
However it didn't matter a bit, as I was in the area again today running some errands, so dropped by to make the find.
Just one more Beast to capture.... unless there are more coming ????
MM.

[:(!] Went for a bit of night caching with Mrs GrumpyBump, parked the geocar within 15 meters of GZ and walked the rest of the way, within a couple minutes we had the cache in hand. SL TFTC/TFTH
Nailed the second escapee on the way back from picking up mothers day treats. Enjoying the series. TFTC blingg.
Not entirely sure why this wouldn't be a night cache; maybe they lock the gates? It was accessible at 5am this morning! It's quicker for me to get to swimming along either Green St or Cape St, but ultimately I need to get to Main St so this was only a very slight detour. It's become a game of "Guess what animal made K.B. 15 minutes late to swimming". Nice quick find this morning so I only missed 500m. I was expecting just the head to come free so was a little surprised when I got 2 legs in each hand. Unlike either the FelixII's or snoseeker, these animals are generally only 2km from home so there's no need to camp out in parks for me. Thanks for the cache blingg.
Third stop on my loop home. 2TF after the Felix front who clearly have taken to camping in parks in the triangle awaiting the next cache publication. SL TFTC
Mrs Felix at work today, but noticed the notification come in for this about 5mins after it was published so say seen at 16.30hrs. A quick phone call to Mr Felix. Are you ready to leave work? Yep just packing up was the response.
So how about a little detour of 250metres from your normal route home. Ahh okay what for?
See if you round up a Zebra! What the, [?]was the response.
He assembled some equipment from his office in case it might be needed and surprisingly fastly had this guy rounded up as **FTF** at 16.40hrs only 15mins after publication. Nice to be in the right place at the right time!
