Going to archive for a few reasons. Probably not there, and seems there is some damage to the bush going on, so being a reasonable and "tread lightly" cacher, I will take it down. Cheers, BL.

Despite a decent look we failed to find this cache.
We were here at 14:57hrs on 28/09/2014

I had a log look around the obvious area without any success. Perhaps Dusty02 can shed more light on the status of this cache.

Thanks anyway Blacklegend

Urgent need of maintenance - not surprising that last two logs were DNF

02-Sep-14
Hard find on a stroll along the mighty Murray beaches, very nearly missed it as it had fallen out of its hiding place

26-Aug-14
Can't find! Plenty of squashed grass and snapped branches

Got to gz and nothing was immediately obvious, widened our search before checking previous logs and photos. We lined up a spoiler photo that Dog-gone took and if that's where the cache lives then sadly it has gone. We checked the ground below but still no luck.

My geoneices enjoyed this little walking trail alot. One took a little sketch book and drew pictures of every interesting tree she found. Thankyou for choosing a picturesque place to hide a cache that inspired her creativity and imagination. Oh by the way this is a sneaky cache.. took us a while till nana finally spotted it. Very clever.

Almost DNF'd this but a more thorough search revealed the one spot we must have missed. TFTC Blacklegend.

Walking into town after supplies , I did a quick search on the iPhone.
Only to find I was within 25 m of a cache.
So this was quickly found with the hint.
No pen on board so a photo was taken and hopefully the co will accept this.
Cheers

Found 1:16pm , find # 2415
We're off to Queensland for a week, staying at Stradbroke Islands with some friends from Brisbane.
This is day 1 of our holiday and we're driving from Melbourne to Parkes, and grabbing some caches along the way.
This one was find number 10 of 22 for the day.
Very interesting hide which has worked well to keep the log dry.

Thanks Blacklegend.

#4704 The last time we tried to come out this way the roads had been blocked due to flooding so we didn't go for a stroll thinking that waders would have been required. Today it was all open and we drove to the start of the walking path and read some of the signs about the birdlife on the way. It was interesting to see the canoe tree whilst there - a little bonus surprise for us as we love this type of history. The cache was well hidden and in good condition. Thanks for bringing us here Blacklegend. Cheers [^]

Found with bogonghazy during my short weekend and his full weeks visit up around here. We did a run to Toc today and netted 56 finds, even with a few hold-ups throughout the day. Cache quickly found, logged and returned to its hidey hole. Thanks to Blacklegend.

Scrambled my way through the bush, went a little too far, and back tracked to a quick find.
This was the easy one, thanks again Marshy

We went for a drive around the area after lunch to find a few more of the new caches since our last visit.
No muggles around here today and another nice hide.

24-Nov-12
Only a fast search.
Heard a slithery type sound past the tree, so we didn't have too good a look.
Cache is probable snug in it's hiding spot Smile

One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick. Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane the next day to stay five days with the familay, cache with the kids and tackle the monster series in Sandgate when I had the time.
After a great time in Brisbane it was time to head back home with the fam flying and me driving. I had a scattered number of caches to collect on the way home with a couple of hundred kilometres between some of them. Cached Warwick along the way, got a FTF out of Moree then made it almost to Coonabarrabran for the night. Stopped at the scope in Coonabarrabran on the way then onto Tocumwal for the night then home.
Last day of the trip and wanted to collect the remaining caches I hadn't yet found in the area. A nice spot along the river. It looks like they are upgrading the track and putting up birdlife information signs along the way. It looks great. Cache found and log signed.
Thanks BL.

14-Oct-12
Found on the way to the next spot up the river and before we worked out we'd probably driven along the walking track.

Spent today caching the North East with Bettyboo3747 and Chewinprickles.
With full bellies, we searched for the second in the series.
A quick find and we continued our trip up river.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 1930. Caching today on a Cobram-Tocumwal run with Robmc and chewinprickles. After having our lunch stop on the river near RR # 1 we continued to this one. Was amazed to see something so small hidden in something so big. Funny. Chewin was the one who made the quick find here. From here we continued on to Town Beach. TFTC BL

Got to near GZ and I obviously looked like a Geocacher (that GPS is a bit of a give-away) as the CO came up to say hello! Great to catch up with you Blacklegend and to have a bit of a chat as well. Hope you got to have fish for dinner! And many thaks for all the caches that you have been putting out in the area.

A nice easy walk from our camp at Town Beach, we continued on and walked into town for a look around.
Nice to see the water level has gone down far enough to let people back into Town Beach.

Managed to get my 2wd car nice and close but then couldn't get out the other end due to a very large stump that looked like it may have been put there on purpose, why? I guess somebody knows why! Not too hard considering the size of area and the size of cache! TFTC!

15-Sep-12
found bit of a wild and grassy area a bit cautious after our encounter with a snake earlier on but managed to brave it and sign log and get out quickly TFTC

14-Sep-12
Found at 9:57 AM GAFF1. Not too far from where we were camped last night, but we still droveRazz We actually had to go into 4wd as the track is still very wet from the flooding. So were not too hopeful in finding this cache due to the flooding, but luckily and due to the colour of the container it was noticed and picked up very quickly. Now to turn around and get out of here!
Thanks Blacklegend

Despite the color, it blended in so well with its surrounding that I almost missed it. Thanks
