spent 40 minutes here, but nothing to be found, per previous logs, I'd say it's gone!
Our band of first-timers couldn't find this one. We probably found the space where it would have been. Last found 9 months ago. Gone methinks
There are numerous DNF's on this cache & one would presume that the finders of #2 have also looked for this one...
Could the CO please check if the cache is still there & please replace if necessary.
Thanks WaroonaVisitorCentre

No smiley for this one today. Still, never knew there were tracks down this way, so that's a bonus...
Headed out for the day for a bit of a drive through the countryside we found ourselves out at Waroona & visiting the Drakesbrook Dam... We started looking in the wrong spot here, then after reading the description changed our search area! In the end, we spent way too long looking without success
TFTH WaroonaVisitorCentre... I'm sure we will try again, if we are ever in the area again

Got this one just in time before it got too dark, nice hiding spot, cache was a bit damp inside.TFTC, we will return for a swim soon.
We've just grabbed #2 and now we're here at. #1. A little unorthodox perhaps but we find a pleasant spot to find a cache.
We make a quick grab, sign the log and head for the local cricket ground.

out with the geohubby for a few hours of caching before it gets to hot. Quick find in a place i have never visited before TFTC WaroonaVisitorCentre
Made an early start to beat the heat, for a run to Waroona.
We travelled down the South West Hwy, and came back via the Forrest Hwy.
We picked up a good variety of caches, on our travels.
This cache was an easy find and in good condition.
Thanks for bringing us here, WaroonaVisitorCentre.

A lovely place to visit. Thanks for the hint as it helped me find the container. TFTC
Out and about on a bit of a caching run with freebkids which is something we haven't done for a few months now so was great getting back into it together as always a fun day .
Since we were in the area finding another cache and I finally remembered to download this one to the gps we thought we'd have a look.
And boy did we look but as we still had 60+km to get home we eventually gave up .
This is the only cache in Waroona I haven't found so will be more determined next time
My only dnf today but managed 13 finds
Thanks anyway

Decided to head down to Bunbury for an overnight stay, via the SWH to pick up caches that have appeared since we were last down that way.
When we first arrived there were many kids in kayaks having a great time.
Fortunately they were no where near the cache.
What a lovely place and with all the rain we have had, the weir was filled to the brim.
Can't wait to bring the family here for a picnic and canoeing.

Decided to spend the afternoon in and around Waroona getting a few caches. Thanks Waroonavisitorcentre for placing these in a lovely area.
Today we headed south on what was to be a 6 hour trip to from Mandurah to Bunbury (ie the long way ), picking up a number of targeted caches and doing some cache maintenance along the way. We travel this way regularly but rarely have the time to explore the many places we pass through. so today we retified that situation
We came to do some maintenance on a nearby cache we adopted some time ago, so had never been to this little dam and were very surprised at what we found. A great place to bring the family and swim and have a picnic.
The GPS had a glitch at this point and we had to whip out the computer and reload all the waypoints. Once that was complete and the GPS rebooted and then settled, we eventually found the cache. The couple of muggles that drove past while we had the laptop running on the back of the car must have wondered what was going on.
Signed the log and left one of our path tags
Thanks for the cache WaroonaVisitorCentre [^] and thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.

Quick find in a fantastic location. We liked the spot so much, we decided to drop the kayak in the water and have a bit of a paddle. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot.

Bashed around with the kids a fair while but didn't find it. Will try again on a warmer day!
Down in Waroona today for my son to play football. We took the junior member of Russell's Army with us to hang out with his older cousin and then push on to make a day of it with some caches and lunch.
We headed out here after lunch. My son was here last year for his school camp so I knew basically where to go. At ground zero for this one my son once again came up with the prize.
Thanks for the cache Waroona Visitor Centre
Cheers

Enjoyed a short walk around the lake. 1QSeeker managed to grab this one undetected by a group of kids having fun with canoes.
Thanks Waroona Visitor Centre. Well worth the visit.

What a wonderful place for a walk,so quiet and peaceful with the exception of a group of children having great fun canoeing. Top spot.

[:(!] Did a caching run to Harvey and back starting at the junction of the Old Coast Road and Forrest Highway then back via the South Western Highway to Perth and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ we had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes.

WOW we had this to ourselves except for a familly of five ducks what a beautiful place. Next time we will bring something to swim in. TFTC
With muggles wondering what we were up to we utilized our phones to act like cameras of taking photos of the view. TFTC we nearly gave up
When we did DW #2 back in November it started to storm and rain so we skipped #1 at that stage. As we were in the area again we did not want to miss this cache now. Beautiful area here and hundreds of colorful butterflies around. Great hide! TFTC Waroona VC.
My day off and nothing to do, so a trip towards Waroona and some caches along the SWH . Traffic was heavy at times but not bothering me too much, and the weather was slightly cooler than it has been recently. A quick find with no swaps - SL. Thanks for the cache.
Left car at parking, then walked around this lovely lake to collect 2 caches...thanks WaroonaVisitorCentre
Enjoyed an early morning Australia Day walk around the Weir. Some families were already arriving to enjoy the area too. Thanks for the cache WaroonaVisitorCentre.
We are heading to the South West today to swap some bingo caches (geocaching.com.au) and we had to drive right past this cache so we managed to stop and grab this one too.
Well we were scratching our heads and had even given up and left the area when we got some help from a friend and returned. Oh we were SO stupid and lazy searching in the first time it would appear.
Glad to be able to get our smilie though.

There was one muggle parked near to gz but fortunately they drove off as I pulled up. Took far longer than it should have. Found when I re-checked area I had already searched.

Having lunch and a swim with the kids and couldn't pass on finding this

Quick find in a lovely location. The previous cache that was near here remained unfound by this cacher, causing considerable frustration. Just when I had confirmation as to its exact whereabouts by the most recent finder (a spot I was 100% sure I had checked, lol), the cache was archived. Bugger!! Oh well, two in it's place now. Left a trackable to celebrate this one which was my 900th find. Yay for me! Thanks Tracey

Went for a drive with Chwiliwr down south to get out of the house.
Thanks for the cache.

I had to do a cache today and came home early from my volunteer job so out I went for a drive with Gwiber.
After a pleasant drive down the freeway to the caches over there it was another pleasant drive through the back roads to this cache. I didn't know that this part of the weir/dam had a road around to it. Cache was soon found without problems.
Thanks for the cache.
