Found with XD1 on the way to McCashins... need a new top on it at least... log was wet so we couldn't sign
I made my discrete approach, but HelloMrs' more direct introduction was a popular choice today.
Cache was in plain view, and was using a crumpled yoghurt pot as a lid. Took the chance to sign the log, and on return attempted to cover a bit with some leaf litter but perhaps some maintenance may be due on this one. Enjoyed admiring the point of interest and the relevance. TFTC
99 1 to go- I had hoped to make it to the century mark today, but unfortunately at the Last Post, it was last post for me today. But at least I found this one, at a favorite little park of mine. TFTC
nice cache behind thebrewery. found it quickly

So close to home sort of had to get it one day, trouble is its a very busy spot but finaly managed to find a quite time today with no muggles, nice to have it off the list TFTC
Found today on our walk to Stoke without the aid of the GPS luckily . Just used guess work. TFTC .
A young lad sitting on a nearby seat was more interested in his phone so he didn't even notice my approach in yet another neighbourhood reserve I didn't know existed. A quick retrieval, signed, and returned, then departure without the lad noticing my presence at all. TFTC.
How many small neighbourhood reserves are there? Just one muggle but on a different planet playing with his electronic gadget. Quick find at an enjoyable little place. TFTC
Found with friends Wacls, no pencils. Wacls will return and sign for us. Another neat walkway. TFTC
I found this one, but the trip nearly went disastrously wrong when I dropped my GPS in the bushes and almost lost it entirely but luckily after about an hour of searching, it was found. TFTC
Took a few minutes for GPS to settle down and wait for evening walkers and dogs to vanish. Nice part of the cycle trail.
Easy find on a chilly evening walk with Wilson#41.
Saw a satellite fly overhead on the way back and spent the next half hour "discussing" how they stay in orbit

Easy find with Kwaka40.
Bit chilly in the wind tonight.
Even though it was only a half moon it was still bright enough to light our way along the path.
Only needed the torch for the final 2m to get to GZ
We were watching a plane fly over when we spotted the satellite.

Finally found the time to pop down the road and make the find. Them cyclists sure do sneak up on you fast. Looking forward to having another look at this tree when it has some foliage.

Decided to go for a walk and do a few new caches in the area. GPS just wouldn't find satellites today - but found this cache without GPS based on the name. Unfortunately it was the start and end of our days caching as GPS just wasn't up to it.
Oh the name makes sense now! Nice hide, we got it in the dark with no gps. Thanks!
It was a dark and stormy night for a calendar day...
A damp night for some botanising, I knew what to look for and quickly spotted the statuesque Italian standing there in the dark. Actually it a botanical fact that these fellows suffer from rust, so in fact he's more ginga than black.

Back in town after 3 weeks away and time for a bit of a catch up on some of the caches that were published while I was away. There must be plenty of these where I was last week, although we were mostly in Umbria... No problem with the search and find although I had to wait out a stream of biking muggles before I could safely return the cache to its hiding place. TFTC, Biggles.
Another good excuse to get out of my office at lunch time. Karen made it extra interesting by trying to direct me to drive down the cycleway! Crazy woman!
I had a vague idea of the likely stature of the Black Italian that would greet me at gz but still had it wrong. Circled gz before deciding on the obvious approach. Got that wrong too - doh. An easy find on the other side though. TFTC.

Night time visit for an easy find but got muggled replacing cache by night time walkers who didn't have any lights to warn of their approach. Made some inane comment to them and jumped on bike and peddaled off. TFTC
Entered the reserve via a track I hadn't tried before. GPS indicated the way I should go - - - and cache was soon in hand - - after just one fruitless forage. Thanks for this hide.
We are grateful for a few of these caches being less strenous. Ater a bit of a quiet time caching it was nice to get back and do a few easier ones . A cooler night and no-one about to disturb us as the light was disappearing TFTC
Even with it getting dark and starting to get hungry we couldnt resist a few caches on our way back out of town ( will have to be in our 7 day groupings as work has been a preoccupier for last 2 weeks !!!) never mind will get our quota of FDF's sometime only a couple of muggles around but most seemed cold and intent on getting home - Stretch0 soon had cache in hand and we made like the muggles and made our way to the warm car thanks for the cache
Nice One!!!!!!!!!!!!Mid-morning, week day, rain and cold. Guess what, not a muggle to be seen. unless they were hiding over the fence behind the thermal curtains One of our favorite cycle-ways where the lungs and knees find great enjoyment. However, this morning attacked GZ by an mechanical flanking movement. Much fun. Thanks
when we arrived there was a guy raking leaves he took no notice of us.
we arrived at GZ no-one around, retrieved the cache before it started to rain.
black Italian looked good. [^]
thank you for the cache

I couldn't resist this one. A tall dark Italian and a cache as well - what more could a girl ask for? TFTC #3366
FTF(at 10.20ish) and FDF and smiley and - lovely surroundings with the autumnal colouring so makes up for a view. We did doubt the CO's knowledge of nationalities when we arrived at the the parking spot - popular and dark but surely not Italian. Then got to GZ and it all made perfect sense. Really liked the cache name here. Lots of muggles so used hint to speed up the find - but would have been a little faster if we had followed the GPS. The obvious is not always obvious to someone else. Dropped off a trackable that was collected yesterday. 3 days - 6 FDF's 4 FTF's - thanks to the CO and the reviewer.
This wee area got quite a hiding in that big windstorm a couple of years back. Certainly plenty of leaf litter about to hide the cache! . Quick find. Good one, thanks.
