Monkeywand, I C Nothing,and. Cirrus_wa are on a road trip to Beverley collecting caches in the area that we are yet to attempt. Thanks to all the COs for the cache placements as it made an enjoyable day.

As the summer break neared its end and the impending return to work loomed, the allure of a geocaching escapade became irresistible. Embarking on the journey were I C Nothing, monkeywand, and myself, with our sights set on the Wandoo series along Brookton Hwy. Our ambitious route extended further, promising stops in the charming towns of Beverly and York.The day commenced with an early morning start, as we gathered supplies and eagerly ventured into the hills. A personal mission added an extra layer of excitementI aimed to achieve my 8000th geocaching find. The morning unfolded with a series of successful park and grab discoveries along the relatively quiet highway, contributing significantly to our tally.As the afternoon sun cast its warm glow across the picturesque Western Australian landscape, our focus shifted to acquiring needed attributes and exploring caches nestled within the towns we passed.With the sun setting on our caching odyssey, we triumphantly returned to Perth, having amassed a pleasing total of 55 cache finds, 6 adventure labs collected, and encountered the challenge of a single elusive DNF. Doing some of the Wandoo series with goingplaces2. Found all we looked for, but some were quite hard to pick up. Enjoyed the hunt. TFTC.

Found this cache along with ilook4geo. This was an interesting run, as some of the containers had been buried by nature after not having found for nearly 10 months. All logs were signed and replaced as they had been found. Thanks go to AlliedOz for placing this cache.

First clear day in a while so thought it was time to knock off more of the Wandoo series. I especially enjoy these as I love the bush. I found all but one that I set out to do today.
I think one more big day and I will finish this series.

I made a start on the Wandoo series this afternoon. Brookton Highway is a pleasure to cache along, so few cars and trucks compared to Albany and SWH. I found 17 caches with most caches in good nic. Great move putting them all on the north side of the road.

Out for a maintenance run on my section of the Wandoo series today, A nice day for a drive and as we had time, plus a few empty caches we stopped in at all 30 of them if they were marked NM or not.

Maintenance is done, the cache is there and ready to be found.

*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...

A fine sunny but cool day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ. Most of the series were **Park n' Grabs** but some gave me more issues. . Managed to grab 29 today with 2 DNF's .

Sorry for the late posting. As this container was damaged, it still worked fine and we placed it back carefully. A tricky find, we are so glad we found it in not too much time. TFTC:)

Met up with ctvanderlinden and muskcat83 for the day in search of my 1000th find. Needed 52 to achieve this goal - we ended up with 101 for the day! It was a warm Australia Day, but a great way to spend the day in the bush, seeing kangaroos, wallaby's and even a race horse goanna! Thanks heaps for the series - we'll be back at some point to finish it off i'm sure!

Heading down the Brookton Hwy targeting a specific cache. No phone signal and my GPX file didn't load fully into my GPSr so I was only able to grab a few of the Wandoo series, this was one of them. TFTC.

Thank you! Out for a caching day with papillon367, Photo-play and Bindi01. After a warm-up with the Cascades series, we headed off to do a couple of sections of the Wandoo series. We ended up finding all of the trees (bar one that was disabled) and all of the animals, and a few of the birds too. Thanks again to all of the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. I hope to be back to complete the series soon.

Teamed up with ullyssia, Photo-Play and Bindi01 for a full day of caching, the biggest so far for all of us! We started by a walk to pick up the Cascades series, then we continued onto the Wandoo series. We found all the flowers (except one not in play), a few of the birds and all the animals, plus a few extras, ending up with 82 finds for the day. This was our 2nd Wandoo cache and a quick find. Thank you for the hide AlliedOz and for the series – nice choice of themes and great concept to have multiple owners.

A call went out and a plan was hatched to tackle the Wandoo series. Very early this morning we joined forces with WebblyWA to see how we would fair and with the expectation that it would be good to complete at least half the series. We started and just cached, cached and cached finishing 11.5 hours later with 138 finds and the series completed apart from one that is temp disabled. Had a great day and a huge thanks to the CO's and those that maintain the series. Sorry for the mostly generic logs.

January's challenge mission for me was to collect at least 300 caches. Knowing I could get almost half way there with one series, I put out a call to see who would like to join me on an epic WANDOO day and Team Fratra was up for it so plans were made. We met up early collecting the first cache at 6.45am. Completing the series 11 and a half hours later, with No DNFs and only one glitch left on the map of a cache that is currently disabled. My total for the day finished up with a few extras at 140 as darkness, wind and rain set in.

It was a wonderful day and we had great weather for the majority of the day. Massive thanks to the COs and everyone that has put work into maintaining the series.

Out on the road with Lazarus_68, Have decided it was time to complete the Wandoo series of caches, having found 16 in the series some time ago. So today we started at the beginning and continued on until time ran out. (other commitments).

We started fairly late in the morning and finished early in the afternoon, so will have to come back another day to finish off the series. Basket Flower was found at 10:45 and was the 2nd cache found out of 41 in total for the day. All caches were easy to find, Thanks for the cache AlliedOz.

Heading home to Albany from Perth thought we would take the scenic route and grab a few caches to get our numbers up a bit and fill the day in a bit this was our find #307 and #2 for the day.

Due to the +40 heat predicted today, The Wandoo series was highest on the geocaching list. This was due to being mostly park and grab, therefore it was 50/50 between air conditioning and searching.
Had a great day and really enjoyed it with over 100 finds and a couple of DNF's. Lots of variety in this leg, Thanks for your effort AlliedOz

With a week touring around Perth, some time obviously had to be made for caching out here on the west coast. I started the day off slowly today with some short hikes, and then by lunchtime had decided to attempt a solo 100-caches-in-day.

#102 completed now - the day's effort wasn't a basket case after all.

Found with Le Boof on a nice spring day. This was a quick and easy find.

The sistema container is starting to perish and has a noticeable hole in one corner. Will try to replace when return to do the rest of the trail later in the year, if it hasn't already been replaced.
