Greetings from Taiwan! This day is our 2nd day in Australia, can't believe i came to this place. I seek for wrong place at first, but make a turn after seeing the hint. TFTC!
TFTC I liked this one got to GZ and found it in a sec we also left something in there
Greetings from Wales. We are staying in the Blue Mountains for a couple of days on our Australia big trip so went with a mate's recommendation to hike the Grand Canyon trail and what an absolute cracker it is. Stunning scenery and fabulous views to finish after climbing the 1000+ steps from the bottom of the Canyon.Once back at out lodgings I took a short stroll to grab a couple of nearby caches. Soon found and business done as well as dropping of a geocoin. Thanks for the cache.
Easy find in the most obvious location. Didn't know these rings existed, very interesting, thanks!
After a pleasant lunch at the pub, it was a short walk up the hill, where the container was soon revealed after putting away the GPSr and using the hint. Thanks for the cache pjmpjm
What a cool place to visit in the rain and fog. A favourite for the interesting location.
Found it while visiting the Blue Mountains with the kids. The GPS was way off and would not calibrate closer to GZ. We looked up the blue and quickly found
Such a fun area! Really loved exploring the ruins with my husband 6:30pm gives the BEST golden shower Good luck!
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Ll
#2,109Up in the area caching. This was a quick find and sign (well as best as I can). The log needs replacing and some TLC is required.TFTC
After grabbing coffees in Leura, I went for a short walk to find some caches. I had seen the ruins when I drove in and thought theyd make the perfect spot for a cache. Well here it is! As I approached, I went in to the chateau, and noticed a homeless shelter had been set up. I was ready to bail on the cache to avoid disturbing it, but then noticed cache was fortunately the other way. Coords a few meters off, but I made short work of it due to the hint. Photolog for me . Caches contents could use a revitalisation
Took a bit longer than we thought due to the GZ GPS pinpoint being off, so please pay attention to the clue and do watch out for the thorns!....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . ((__)..... _ ((___)....... -'((__)--.___((_)
On our way to the north TEMBO! and I visited the ruins. We found the cache and signed the logbook. Thanks to pjmpjm for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Awesome find... Always wanted to stop here, never have...enjoyed a beer while the sun set
Hunting with Nanoduster while our wives and kids were checking out the lolly shop and other delights in Leura. We made it harder for ourselves by not paying proper attention to the clue. TFTC and leading us to a new and interesting spot.
Geocaching with waterfist in the Leura area. Made the cache harder than it needed to be but eventually got the smiley. Grabbed a trackable to take back to America.
First trip Down Under. Here visiting a few days before taking an obscenely large cruise ship to New Zealand. Took a Blue Mountains tour out of Sydney yesterday and stopped here for lunch. We didnt have enough time yesterday, so we took the train back today so we could spend more time here. We completed the AL, had a lovely lunch and tea at the teapot museum, perused several of the shops, and found two of the three caches we looked for before catching a train back to Sydney.Nice hide and interesting place. Thanks for bringing us here. Only complaint is that this could use an Abandoned Structure attribute.May the Fog Be With You!
while wandering the town i bought a pie and a sausage roll and needed a park to eat them at.what better place than an abandoned chateau. so i slowly strolled the grounds, imagining myself in a suit of the day, a strapping young gal on my arm, probably sporting feathers and furs in equal abandon, chuckling gaily while we both sucked heavily on unfiltered cigarette's clasped inside thin black holders. i perused the squash courts and the tower, before settling finally into the grotto to hunt down the cache.it took much less time than the above to write. thanks pjmpjm for bringing this ruinous artifact to life with a geocache!
Only had 15min to make it to this, but ended up doing it in 10. Nice and quick. Found a weird big black beetle-like thing. On a 10 day trip to Australia, siting Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne and getting some caches during the trip. Visiting from Chicago. TFTC!
Getting to the cache is quite the challenge. There are many movable bricks ! Log is full, so pon1961 added new logs. TFTC.
Took us a while and we got a few cuts while walking through thorns but nonetheless fun
I’m back working in Katoomba and thought I’d grab a few caches while I’m in the area.
I’m working not far away and want to earn the Wheel of Challenges souvenirs, having earned the 2day streak, I’m now aiming to earn the 7 day streak souvenir.
It was a quick find.
TNLNSL
I rearranged the camo somewhat to make it a little less obvious.
TFTC pjmpjm ️

There is a sport way down in new Leura
They call it Geocaching in the sun
It's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God I know I'm one.
Now the only thing a cachin' man ever needs
Is a GPS, Lord, and a pen
And the only time a fool like him is satisfied
Is when he gets an FTF.
OCW my other geotragic accomplice, Brewmaker. TFTC pjmpjm

Having spied the ruins on a few trips past this area in the last few days I was keen to actually get a close up view and this afternoon proved a good chance to get out here. I possibly have deprived a few spiders of dinner as I made my way through the ruins and investigated quite a few sites out of interest before turning my attention to the cache itself. Found quickly and in good repair unlike it's surrounds. Thanks for bringing me here.
We stopped for lunch in Leura and had time for a quick search afterwards. Nicely hidden!
Found with eemiaj while caching around the Katoomba area, the 2nd day of our visit, log signed as BE5150.
A fascinating place, TFTC

Ticking off a few more PnGs on the homeward run after an impromptu two day caching trip to and around Katoomba. Clue and co-ords made for a quick find with parking nearby more the issue.
A day out geocaching with The Booos in the Mountains
I found this cache while in the area today TFTC

Lekker struinen door dit gezellige dorpje.
Deze cache samen met Catqueen3 bezocht. Onze dochter zag hem gelijk.
Catqueen3 beloofde een Favo, die zij als niet Premium lid, niet kan geven, dus nu van ons.

My very first school days in the 80s were spent on Britain St in the original Korowal School site. Very happy memories after the initial shock of mum leaving there on my own! I’ve never stopped to explore the ruins before now. Thanks pjmpjm for bringing us here. Fun find! Picked up a TB and left one that is trying to get back to Germany after visiting the Sydney Opera House earlier in the week. Safe travels Squidward!
During our stay in the blue mountains we stayed in leura.
As a small evening walk we have made a cacher tour.

Stopped for lunch in this lovely town in the. Lue Mountains before continuing up. Dropped off the Selin Coin that I picked up in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala in Nuly and have carried half way around the world! Found the cache in the pouring rain !
Interesting site, such a shame it has fallen into such disrepair. Quick grab before the rain
Had a nice walk around Leura on a beautiful Spring day. The trees down the main street are stunning in flower.
After exploring the ruins site for a while, it was a quick find on the way out.
Left a few treasures as there was only 1 in there.
Thanks for the cache!
