In love for the game and quality caches, I am requesting this one be archived as the “container” is absolutely smashed to pieces, with a needs maintenance log March 2016 with last maintenance log by owner in 2015, I think this one has had its day unless the owner is willing to replace the container.
Found it, but filled up with water as previous logs say. Put the container upside down so things can dry a bit..
Found this a while ago while touring around the Newcastle region visiting with friends, so logging now. A nice poem to read and informative description, but the hint was seemed a bit cryptic at first. Unfortunately this cache needs some TLC. TFTH
Now this was a fun cache. GeoJess will remember it for ever and will be reminded of it every trip home from Sydney. Favourite for sure. TFTC.
Cache was completely broken and open to the elements. We replaced as best we could. I will alert cache owner.

What a great stop to stretch the legs the logbook was quite damp but didn’t have any replacements on me TFTC
Found after work. After coming out this way for some shopping, only to not find the shop (it closed/moved) I decided to make it a useful trip and find some caches. Found five out of the six I tried, before it got too dark and was time to go home.
I have been wanting to get up close and personal with this dino for a long time. Turns out it is pretty easy to get to. Unfortunately the cache is smashed the the contents soaked. I signed and dried and left upside down, so it might not refill again...
Thanks for the climb, dino and cache!

A quick find after the scramble up the hill.As previously mentioned the cache container is damaged and the log book although dry at the moment has been quite wet. Nice view.
Made a few detours on my way to the Oz geomuster in Morriset. Enjoyed driving in new areas and on unknown roads. Had little problems finding all caches, the the increasing heat was coming quick!

I see ploddy every day on my way to work, and I always think to myself that I've got to go find him some day, so this cache turned out to be an awesome surprise. The log book and container still need replacing. Unfortunately I didn't read the previous log in advance, otherwise I'd have brought a new log book. Thanks!
Another Needs Maintenance to add to the list. Does CO check these anymore? Lid cracked. Was full of water. Log book smells from wet dinosaur. Maybe next find can bring replacements? Cheers. Brew
I have seen these figures from a different angle so many times, but never up so close. A quick find once I made my way to GZ. But, the lid has a crack and it was soaked with water. The log book is a bit of a pulp, but I managed a scribble, while trying to dry everything. Replaced upside down, so hopefully any water will flow out, but it needs serious TLC from the CO. TLTC

The Geowife has a card making class today on the Central Coast - and as it goes ALL day, I've thoughtfully volunteered to do chauffeur duties... So what will I do between 9am and 6pm? I wonder...
As I'd already cleared out the caches near the class venue (and needed breakfast and petrol) I knew I realistically had 8 solid hours of caching, so decided on a circular route and had hoped to find 30 - 35 caches, including a few bush ones. Didn't quite work out that way as I had a few long DNFs. In the end found 27 - probably could have got 30 if not for driving past a few due to not spotting parking possibilities. And didn't get to the final area I was targeting near Narara where I'd even solved a few puzzles.
But a good day, with plenty of driving for *The Hademobile*.
And in the mix was my 4400th find. Decided to let that one fall where it may. That required 26 finds today, so thankfully I did just get there.
Thanks to **xPhenoms**, whose *Motorcycle* series provided many of the day's finds - parking for which I suspect is easier if travelling by motorcycle!
I also grabbed a few of **Shockers'** *CAW* series.
I'll try to make one or two unique comments for each cache, but so many to do...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
As with many of today's finds, the difficulty is working out where to park. Chose a spot and made my way to - oh, a logical spot to climb.
Steep but not too hard - will just need to be careful on the way back down.
Well I've never been this close to Ploddy before. Nice quick find, but unfortunately the contents are a bit damp.
Lid here is cracked. Needs a new container.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then back down.

The hill was particularly challenging, especially on the way down.
I advise extreme caution in the wet!
But a lovely view from the top.
Unfortunately this was the third cache today I was unable to sign due to the excessive amount of water in the container.

Tftc, out for a short geocaching morning with Azzepious up the old road. Went back to some caches I had already found to allow him to find also.
The recent rain made the scramble up this hill a D4. Azzepious had made it up, and was snap chatting the view, while I was still slipping and sliding. The rain also made the log saturated and couldn't sign.

I was walking around the fence trying to find gZ when an alarm went off so I suspiciously ran away... Haha
I was in the area for work and decided to stop and find a couple on my way home. Stopped here and wondrred up to make a quick find. Wondering if the cars on the M1 could see me. TFTC
It was a bit of a climb to get to find this cache, but once in the right area GZ was very obvious. Sadly the cache container was full of water, so everything in it was wet and yucky. We managed to make an indent into the soggy log paper with our name. The water was drained out as best we could, but this cache needs a lot of TLC. Thanks to SuperMoosie for the hide.
IVe had my eye on this for a little while but no time for caching on previous trips. Despite a light rain falling and a bit of a slippery approach. The cache was easily found. The container was half full of water but the log was reasonably dry, given the humidity. TFTC, SuperMoosie
While the app was trying to settle itself, I found a clip from a sistema container. When I found the cache, I put 1 and 1 together. The container had a lot of water in it, but the log book was okay. I dried the container and added the missing clip, then replaced as found. TFTC
So fun! This was a big part of my childhood when we used to travel up the coast, really great to see it up close and personal - tftc!
I really enjoyed finding this cache because it was great to get up close to Ploddie after seeing him from the freeway all this time. The log is saturated and cannot sign so I left a new logbook and pen in a ziplock bag. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us up here. TFTC.
Today I am on my way to visit my next house sit. But have arrived quite a bit early.
Well, I have time to find a few caches.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Today I travelled back from Nelson bag to Caringbah. With a stop for the reptile park to keep GeoDirk and HanorahTLG happy.
Hah. That is a well placed one, my compliments for found it there.

Log book too wet/soaking to sign. Emptied out water from inside container. Needs a new logbook I reckon. Pretty bad water damage...
On our holiday, xhead and I travelled some weeks through south and east Australia. We arrived in Melbourne early in the morning with the "``Spirit of Tasmania" coming from Devonport. With our small campervan called "Herbie" we drove along the Great Ocean Road, then coming back to Melbourne again and driving on to Sidney and then Brisbane. We explored a lot of places, beautiful beaches, wild mountains and hidden trails. On our way, we could manage to find one or another geocache . Thanks for hiding all these caches around Australia and greetings from Germany, Akirey
Together with Akirey I spent some weeks in Australia. We drove the Great Ocean Road, visited Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney. We also climbed some mountain like Mt. Kosciuszko and swam in the ocean. Sometimes we searched for a geocache. This one was one of them we could found. a little cache tour and found some nice caches.

Found with the geo-wife and son during a days touring and caching the hidden spots of the Central Coast. It's always a game we play with the geo-kids as to guess what the festive colours Ploddy will be sporting. Great to get up close and personnel for me as the last time would have been more than 40 years ago when he lived down at Wyoming. As previously mentioned, cache and log are wet and slimly but we managed to scribble our initials down. Many thanks SuperMoosie
Find Number 3421
The Booo's found this cache, Heading to Port Macquarie for a short break we stopped here and made a quick find. As reported chance is in urgent need of owners attention as the log book is saturated and slimy, we emptied a little water out of the container before retuning the cache.
Thanks SuperMoosie for placing this cache

We visited the nice reptile Park in Somersby which was great. A lot of informative and illustrative keeper talks.
After the visit there we stopped at some nice caches in the region.
Thank you to all the owners

Wwehhhjooooaaaaa I was not expecting to be muggles by that it that it tried to lick behind my ears. It introduced itself as dino . Sadly it didn't know where pebbles was but suspected it knew where bam bam was saying thank you man. Cache was a quick find. The container has seen better days but as someone has recently replaced the record book all was fine Tftc tnln favourite awarded.

Mrs C has been wanting to go on a caching day for a while, but with work and other commitments we haven't been able to get out. Today was another matter. Even when the heavens opened up raining down its sogginess, we still made the most of the day. In total we found 23 caches.
Mr C made the walk up the wet and slippery slope, after the Dino-selphie, a quick find was made.

Last time I had looked at doing this one, it was pretty wet and I was not going to walk up that slope in the wet. Made the ascent today, cache is pretty wet inside, logbook is just starting to get damp, but most things inside are rusting etc. Emptied the water out and gave it a bit of a dry out.
Followed the Cachers trail and found what we came for. It's getting very warm. TFTC
Found the direct route up the hill which is becoming a bit of a cacher trail though that first but is very steep and slippery, had to make a second attempt after sliding back the first time! Once at the top the phone wanted me a few metres back down the hill but I just expanded the search area a bit at the top and had it found fairly quickly. Nice view from up here for the Watcher.
Like others, found it full of water but the logbook nice and dry. Not sure why this isn't sealing properly, no obvious damage to the container and not somewhere the rain should really flood it. Emptied out as best I could but maybe the container needs a new one. Thanks SuperMoosie.

A light sprinkle was coming down making the scramble up the slope kind of 'interesting'.
But cache was found in short order once I got to the Watching vantage point.
The container had water inside and most of the items are soaked.
Happily, the ziplock bag stayed water-tight and the log inside is dry.
Drained and dried the rest of the contents as much as possible but it might need some more to get it totally dry.
Amazingly, managed to get back down the slope without slipping.
TFTC SuperMoosie.

Out today for a huge day with darkside dan. We had planned on doing as much of the motorcycle series. On the way we thought we would get as many other caches as well. We ended up getting 64 for the day and that's why i say sorry about the copy paste logs. Thanks for the caches and we had a blast together
Had a fantastic day today. Mr Roo and I found 72 caches, travelled over 300km and cached for 11 hours all up.
After the uphill scramble I found the cache and couldn't help having that being "watched" feeling. Lucky for me it was only a herbivore! The cache was damp inside but the log book was dry, TNLN thanks.
Up here to have another visit of the big dino, this time with a few more ambitions than last time. Slipped through for a closer “look” both on and in… (maybe a little more on that at an event sometime!). Thankfully Seaeagles1997 was with me so the find was easy… Er … well easy-ish. Lets just say that frozen hands a feet and wearing t-shirts isn’t comfy at midnight. TFTC!!!
I was out and about doing some caches along George Downs Drive, Peats Ridge Road and Wisemans Ferry Rd today with Mumma-Kel when I realised my 1,000th was getting close. Since we were in the area, I figured that Ploddy, as a Central Coast icon, would be a good one to mark the achievement of a major milestone in my geocaching life.
I followed the concrete drain up the hill and although the walk up was a bit harder than I expected because of all the branches and fallen vegetation that had been caught up in the drain during recent bad weather, it didn't take too long to get to the top and find the cache ... and get up close and personal to Ploddy. I had forgotten how imposing a character Ploddy is ... I first met him back when he was but a child (as I was), living at Wyoming if memory serves me correctly. It was good to meet him again ... and a fitting way to celebrate my 1,000th find.
Thanks for this cache SuperMossie ... which naturally gets a fave point in honour of the occasion.

After a steep climb up the hill, the cache was soon located. A replacement log book was signed and placed in the cache.
Found it but the container full with water. No log book. So we just put a piece of cardboard. TFTC SuperMoosie

See my log. Contents and container pretty trashed - was fully open and exposed to weather. I have revealed and re hidden but contents need replacing, and i's replace the container too. Seals are rotten.
A quick find after a fun climb in the wet. Lol coming down was 'interesting'. Cache was fully exposed and contents sodden. My felt tip pen let me sign but the whole lot needs replacing. Will request maintenance. TNLN TFTC a fun experience!

Shell and I were in town this weekend for our anniversary and managed to find a few caches as we travelled around. I actually remember this one when it was at Orimbah as I did work experience 20 odd years ago at the reptile park. Found in the wet today.
Thanks SuperMoosie for the cache. [/Blue]
