Disappointed to add a DNF to what sounded like a cool cache. Had a really good search in the grass, under bark, on and under trees and near some litter in a broadened search area as we really wanted to find it. Recommend that this one gets checked on.
Spent quite a bit of time on this one and would suggest that it's no longer there
We searched for quite a while at GZ before eventually spotting the cache right in front of us. We were initially looking at a lower level. We signed the log and put it back where we found it. Thanks sierra1 for placing this ore.
Awesome find, not what I was looking for but kids have great eyes!

Visiting Bundaberg and surrounds from Sydney and today we’re taking an eastward loop around to Childers. We had no luck here. Frustrating since it was only found a few days ago. The creature was clearly laying low today. Cheers… Gaztek
Great find, @kimmiann19 and I were about to give up but she turned around and there it was. A few peaople tooted at as driving past lol

He's no longer got his claws into the tree trunk. Found him having a rest, upside down and hanging by his tail quite nearby. Log signed. TFTC
A planned couple of days away with my girls. Heading north to meet up with friends and stay a night in a motel resort, which turned into a sleep over at a friend’s place.
It has been a long day with a few caches and a lot of distance covered and a few stops for chats along the way. We were nearing our final destination but there were still a few more I wanted to grab as we passed. This little section on the road was going to be our final caches for the day. This one was fun to find as we searched around.
We signed the log and replaced all as found and continued our journey north. Thanks for bringing us here all good with this cache.

Today I had an opportunity to visit this area and finding a few caches.
Thanks for hiding and the maintenance.

Heading back to Brisbane from Bundy and collecting a few caches on the way. Thanks to the COs for the placing of these caches as it breaks up the trip and quite often takes you to interesting side roads.
After spending a few days in Bundaberg, it was now time to go home. Decided to do a number of caches between Bundaberg and Maryborough. Really enjoyed finding these caches and signing the logs. TFTC
Found it at 4.10 pm on 8 7 2020
Last on for the day geodogs worn out. Pirate lady not much better. Tftc I loved the guardian. 13th find today and 741 total. I love this game. Can't wait to retire and do much more of this. Uber and Teacher Aide are a different kind of challenge.

Could resist hunting down another Sierra1 cache on our way back home.
This one made us smile - we’ve seen a similar one hidden down south.
Thanks for the cache, Merry Christmas!

TFTC. We are housesitting in Bundaberg for a few months, we had not been out for a few days so it was decided to head out toward Woodgate Beach. The benefit of geocaching is that it get you out and about and exploring areas. We had not been this way on previous trips.
We made a point of clone ting three of thirds series along Goodwood Road before getting to the coast. Wonderful concept and great hides.

Previous finder made a perfect Job. A fav point for the awesome cache container!
It's School holidays, so we are on a Caravan trip with our grandaughter. We stayed in Maryborough for the Mary Poppins Festival. Now off to Bargara Beach.
Thanks to the COs.

This was the third and last in this series that we targeted today. After pulling the geomobile off on the other side of the road, we commenced our search and soon spied the little critter. We replaced the rusty nail securing him with a new self-drilling screw, replaced the full/soggy log sheet with a new one, signed the log then headed off home. Thanks seirra1 for placing this cache. A favourite from us. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
TFTC. Great to be caching in a new part of this great country. Thanks seirra1 for providing the entertainment.
While up looking at the turtles laying their eggs at Mon Repos and saw there were a few caches near where we were staying. TFTC
Found on the ground so tried to put it back on the tree, don't know if it'll stay long. Visiting here from Canada.
Found on the ground hiding under some leaves. As Lindy-Lou said we tried to hammer it back in position, but only had limited success using an old branch as a hammer!!

I found this fellow lurking at the base of a tree. He seemed happy to see me, but was rather stiff necked about the whole experience. tftc.
The last stop on a tour with tinycomma. We were running out of time and daylight, but still had to try this one. No luck on the first try, will have to come back to finally find it.
Once GPS sorted itself, was relatively easy to find. Tricky relocating it back though
Found on a very busy afternoon. After signing & returning the log to the cache the attachment gave way. Didn’t have anything to secure it properly. It is currently back in place but hopefully the next finder has a hammer. Kutgw
Visiting Family for Christmas, so we decided to get some caching done while here. Tftc.
A geocaching roadtrip is an amazing thing. It takes lots of preparing, planning and pre puzzling to ensure time on the road is maximised. I have to say I exhibited none of these attributes as we readied ourselved for this roadtrip. I was fortunately joined by the energizer bunny (seffnjarah) and the Square Jawed Mountain Man (Crookedpete) who both like to prove how capable they are as the alpha males of the Bromance. While there is often much chest beating and tantrums, we manage to remain positive and end up with a good plan of attack.
We set off on Friday lunch time (so CP had time to make himself pretty) and returned late Sunday nigh, traveling some 2000klms, approx 70 caches of varying D/T Ratings, in just on 54 hours. Sadly there were a few DNF's (which some of the team took harder than others), but we saw many different cache styes, and some amazing places. Thanks to all the CO's who placed these caches for us to find.
We finally found our wayward friend that had been dethroned by the forces of nature. We repaired as we could, but a little further TLC might be needed soon!

I love a good roadtrip.
It has been far too long since Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I did stupid things a long way from home. So, a Bromance caching road trip from Brisbane to Rocky & Yeppoon and a few ports (and mountains) in between was planned.
This cache had us stumped. After an extensive 3 man search, Seff reverted to reviewing some old logs and a photo therein helped us narrow down where the cache should have been found. The gum tree has recently shed all its bark and after a rummage through the detritus at its base, the container and the rusty guardian was found and reinstated as best we could. I suggest the next time the CO is passing that some fixings and a hammer would help make sure this cute bloke stays at home.
Many thanks Sierra1

After finding a suitable parking spot across the road from GZ, we made the dash across and commenced the hunt. Despite the three of us looking and expanding our search area, we were still empty handed after quite a while. We then resorted to some previous logs and a photo was able to narrow down our search area. It appears that the tree was undergoing some natural renovations to the cladding. Obviously the Workplace Health & Safety inspectors had not visited recently because the old cladding had fallen down and taken its resident with it. After rummaging through the debris Crookedpete was able to rescue the homeowner and reinstate him to his proper abode. TFTC
We holiday at Elliott Heads annually and took some time for geocaching. We managed to pull over safely and soon spied the cache. A fave added,
Found it with geo son and geo puppy last Friday but forgot to log it was standing right next to it when I spotted it, love these caches, perfect for kids
Found it took awhile & was standing right beside it. Great character. TFTC TNLNSL
Off to Bargara this weekend with the cousins, couldn't resist another cache by Sierra1, TFTC sierra1 you never disappoint.
Got this one on our way to Woodgate Beach. Like your work. Fav point alloc. Thanks seirra1
Gave this one a miss after finding GC3DJ7J as my GPS wanted me to travel 99 kms in the wrong direction
Up to Bundy for a few days for a not so pleasant reason - and today I get the job of driving back to Brisbane in the car. No other responsibilities today. Have noticed these on the TomTom many trips this year, but never the opportunity before to stop. Till today. What a cutey.
Thanks for placing this cache, seirra1. Found in good condition.

I did a lot of caches in long grass today. I was very happy that it was the middle of winter and that the weather has been quite cold. Not too much a worry about snakes, but I still stomped my way towards GZ just in case. [:o)]
I was wondering about the relevance of the cache name when I spotted the little beasty not too far away. He does blend in quite well really.
