Why me? Sorry mulga bill, but took a friend to find this one and disaster has struck again! The area has been slashed and the branches have all been lopped. Searched around a bit but sad to say it was a dnf.

20-May-13
Thanks to Kinkell1 for letting me know about this one.

This has been a high maintenance cache for a while now and for the third time it has disappeared, two of those times being because of work on the trees at the site. So, the time has come to say enough and archive it, and let someone else have a go at highlighting this area.

27-Apr-13
Heading home from a Woodlands visit we called past this cache.
The co-ordinates were spot on and we found the great cache quite quickly.
We are giving this a favorite point for the amazing craftmanship that has gone into it.
Very clever.

27-Apr-13
Found with Mum & Dad.
Nice hide here! Really cool.
Thanks for the cache!

21-Apr-13
!Go! & I pulled up in the car with 0 metres, I thought uh oh, did I just park on the cache? We soon found it, nice workmanship Mulga Bill!

24-Mar-13
All good again Big Grin Container repaired and the cache is back in its place.

23-Mar-13
Logging as found with CO's permission.
Happy Easter Mulga Bill! Smile

23-Mar-13
Taking this one down for a very short while for some running repairs. Thanks for letting me know Big Grin

23-Mar-13
Agh...I found it but I can't get it open and I broke it.i am soooo sorry. How in the bleep do you gett to the log? I have returned it to it's position as best I could. Once again sorry. Sad

21-Mar-13
Checked on this one this morning and contrary to what I was thinking, All is good and it's safe and sound, right where it should be.

20-Mar-13
Two DNFs and I'm not happy because I like folks to find them. Sorry guys, will check it tomorrow. This one has been a bit of a problem for a while and might need a rethink.

20-Mar-13
Got me stumped! Does the description need updating to go with new coords or has this been done? Need to come back with my gps phone is not good enough!

19-Mar-13
Got us stumped need a hint out with Kinkell1

13-Feb-13
Suscoe's final find of the day, 13 out of 13 was a nice result today.
Thanks to Mulga Bill for a very nice hide here.
We arrived here a while ago following a solid bit of tree trimming and so it is nice to get back to find this relocated cache.
Took a little while of juggling between cars but all was finally done.
A favourite from Suscoe.

Coordinates changed from:
S 37° 41.040 E 144° 39.654

Coordinates changed to:
S 37° 41.008 E 144° 39.663

Distance from original: 199.2 feet or 60.7 meters.

I've changed the location of this one slightly, to better keep it hidden from muggles.

10-Feb-13
A new cache is in place after the mysterious dissapearance of the last one. Co-ords are changed slightly to hide it a little better from non caching eyes.

09-Feb-13
Sadly, this cache seems to have a history of problems. Checked on it this morning after a recent DNF, and it has disappeared completely. I'll take it off line and make another hide.

08-Feb-13
Looked everywhere but no luck

21-Jan-13
Spent a little too long looking in the wrong direction, but once my perspective changed it was a very quick find. A very well crafted cache, and thankfully cache extraction tools were everywhere! Tftc

18-Jan-13
Found it @ approx. 19:20

After a little help from some friends, quite an easy find really.

Love the camo, well done.

Love U Mulga Bill
Great hide
Had us stumped for a little bit, lots of traffic going past this area. We looked kinda silly on the side of the road
Once we saw that Mulga Bill had hidden this we then knew where our standard was!
Great work, TFTC

12-Jan-13
We pulled up here with a feeling of de-ja-vue as we had found a cache very close to here previously. We were quite happy that the nearby establishment wasn't too busy, we only had a couple of motoring muggles go passed to slow our search. The cache took a couple of minutes to locate but we eventually were able to add our name to the log.
We have to agree that it is unusual to see such buildings along this road especially this windmill that seems very out of place.
Thanks mulga bill, we took nothing but left a favourite point.

29-Dec-12
Could not see it for trying. When one of the kids spots it from the car....... They like to show us up I reckon. Thanks for putting in such effort on a well designed cache.

26-Dec-12
Found at 3.15pm on our way home from Intervening Days. Had stopped here when visiting Scubacrazy awhile ago but lots of cars and muggles around GZ so hadn't looked till today. After a brief search Mrs80 spotted something that didn't really belong here. Log signed and headed on home. TFTC Mulga Bill - we like these type

26-Dec-12
That windmill is of course an odd sight but those Agapanthus make it even odder. Spent a couple of minutes searching before finding the cache lying on the ground. My guess is that a strong wind will do that here. A nice bit of work though Mulga Bill.

26-Dec-12
I was almost ready to give up, when I spotted him. Thank you Mulga Bill for the cache. He earns a favourite from me.

20-Dec-12
This was our 3rd cache find in the caching run & we found it at: 11:53.
This now makes our total find count 5606.

[blue]We thought that this one may have gone missing as there seemed to be a lot of recent pruning debris around. About to walk away when the cleverly disguised cache suddenly popped into view.

This one merits a favourite point from us. Smile
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (<2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Mulga Bill for the hunt today.

15-Dec-12
With the forecast threatening rain Square Pegs and I made an early morning start westward from Melbourne with a stack load of caches to find. Our day started with some impressive dark clouds but it wasn't long before these passed over us turning on a clear sky. This turned out to be a bonus for as we completed our itinerary ahead of time leaving us a whole lot of daylight leftover, so what do we now? That's easy - we go find more caches. Now I wasn't expecting to see a building like that! I also like the well constructed cache. Thanks Mulga Bill for hiding a cache here for me to find.

15-Dec-12
That is a rather incongruous sight! I really like this place, it is something out of the ordinary.
Combined with an excellent camo on the cache, made for an all round enjoyable experience.
Thanks Mulga Bill for the cache.

29-Nov-12
A great hide, love ya work.
No need for tweezers today.
Thanks

24-Nov-12
We drive past this one on occasion when heading out to Taylors Lakes. Thought today was a good day to stop and after a bit of a search and a useful log we had the log signed and returned successfully. Cheers.

19-Nov-12
Excellent hide. Didn't see it till it was in our face. Couldn't extract the log but no matter.

16-Nov-12
My first stop while in Victoria on a two day caching run......but not the start I was hoping for. A neat little hide for sure, and I had few ideas, but it beat me today. Hopefully will be back in town again one day and will try again.

Thanks anyway....

Did not expect to see a windmill here ;o)
Nice spot and unique container.

Thanks & greetings from Switzerland

Cool windmill near the cache spot! I pass it often on my way to Melton to visit my friend! This is another cache I found over Smurfys shoulder as he was reading a description lol This one stands out against the others

02-Nov-12
Found by Mary & David at 1745. We did the now-archived cache across the road about 21 months ago. Loved the camo on this one. We agree that the scene here is far from the typical Australian view, which gives it a certain novelty value. Our thanks to Mulga Bill.

31-Oct-12
Well, success at last this pm - our 2nd visit, and what a lot of pruning had been done since our 1st visit!
Took about 5 minutes to discover this cleverly cammoed cache. We enjoyed the challenge of finding this cache. Lots of traffic as usual. Picked up 4 large plastic bags of trash in the vinicity of GZ and there is still more there!!!
TFTC Mulga Bill and we congratulate you on a job extremely well done!

26-Oct-12
Had me stumped for a few minutes, then had an idea and wahooo there it was....excellent cache! Has been wanting to stop here for ages on my goings to and from airport. TFTC.

22-Oct-12
In my quest for 31 cacheing days in a row, this one was # 26, a convient stop on the way to work. It is a little Europe here !. A short search revealed the hide which was not what i was expecting. Great camo.

Found whilst having dinner at the Gamekeepers Secret.

Thanks Mulga Bill

Might have compromised this one. Followed coords in between the 2 fences. There is no need to hop the fences. Looking around realised I was being watched. Went back to my car. Farmer came over. I Could see cache so grabbed it to show Him and tried to explain but his English wasn't the best. Hope it is ok.

Giving it a favourite. Great hide. Tftc

Coordinates changed to:
S 37° 41.040 E 144° 39.654

Due to changes at GZ there has been a slight change in coordinates.

16-Oct-12
Cache is now back on line and due to some changes at GZ there has been a slight change in coordinates.

14-Oct-12
Suscoe had a DNF here today.
A good deal of trimming has taken place here recently and we were not sure if the cache is still here or not.
As no one has mentioned the pruning, we though we would.
But we will keep an eye on this cache to see if we simply were not good enough today!
Thanks Mulga Bill!!!

14-Oct-12
Thanks for letting me know about the trimming. I'll get to it in the next few days and check if it's still there.

14-Oct-12
During recent works at GZ, this cache has gone missing. Thanks to Suscoe for alerting me.
Until I can make a new container I'm taking this one off line for a short period.

Heading to Melbourne for another legendary TDC (The Demolition Crew) night run, this time with TrailRunning as per usual, and RebelActs as well. Needed to pick up this and some others in the area that the other members of the TDC already had. Grabbed this one fairly quickly after looking in the right place. TFTC.

01-Oct-12
This was, the first cache of 24 finds for the day, in the company of Trailrunning, we had been chating and texting for some time now regarding caching but never met, so tonight we finally teamed up and went caching, we had a great night with lots of laughs along the way. I liked the nice neat job on this cache and that windmill looked great. My thanks to Mulga Bill for the cache.

01-Oct-12
The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!

After shooting north from the highway, we were soon onto this one. Our first cache for the night was soon found in a container (NQR) that we expected. Rebel made the find while I had my eyes down. Thanks

My trusty Pathfinder had recently blown a head gasket and the logistics of repairing it didn't add up so as I had been looking for a new car over the past few months on and off, it was time to actually look for and get one. Today myself and my two boys were off to Lake Bolac to look at a diesel Pajero and of course do some caching along the way.
This had not been my intended way to Lake Bolac but I missed a turn off earlier on and so as we headed into Melton stopped and made a quick find of the cache.
Thanks for the hide.

Very clever Mulga Bill. Out caching with Akelamandy & the Geokids and was very happy to be the one to spot this one! TFTC. Smile

23-Sep-12
Found on a sunny Sunday afternoon with ludels1971 and 2 of our geokids. When I saw it was a Mulga Bill hide I knew it would be something creative and interesting. I wasn't disappointed. After poking around for quite a while no sooner had ludels1971 said "that's it, I'm giving up" then he exclaimed "AHA!". The new log you've placed is already damp. I wonder if a small piece of glad wrap would help? TFTC

Found by H withThe Empire
We have been past here a few times before. Nice cache.
So at this point The Empire had his jeep which he looooves. As do I, however getting in and out of this car is a different story. Let's put it this way, I haven't discovered the art of making getting in and out of this car look very lady like. Ahhhhh one day, one day!

Geocaching + Jeep = Awesome. A quick find in a familiar location, I've been to the Winery across the road for a couple of Christmas parties. Thanks for the tricky hide in a nice location Mulga Bill.

Log has been replaced with a new one. Many thanks to ST37E for the temporary replacement.

02-Sep-12
After 15 minutes of crawling around on the ground under a tree, I eventually gave up. My iphone app kept me circling a 3 meter radius, not sure if it was behind the fence or in front of it. Didn't help that there was a car parked right next to us, Im sure the people sitting in the car thought we were stark raving mad. I found plenty of sticks but no log. Unless it was buried beneath a foot of pine needles... I think, if it is still there, a few clues might help!

[edit] I am SUCH an idiot! In the description it said Id need a tool to remove the log.. I thought you were talking about an actual LOG as in from a tree! I will have a look for it again lol

[edit] ok so I went back there again today and this time I found it! Very cleverly done. Must have taken a LONG time to prepare!

Found after attempting part of the Woodlands series with ST37E, we decided to cache our way back to Ballarat whilst enjoying the gorgeous weather from the first day of Spring.

Find #24 for the day

Great cache container, log was soggy though.

TFTC!

01-Sep-12
Found on a day trip from Ballarat, after I had done part of the Woodlands Series with S 4 Sammy, luckily for us the first day of Spring was great and we were able to enjoy our day of caching in the comfort of the sun.

Find #24 of caches for the day

Surprisingly a quick find, unfortunately the cache has retained some moisture and we did have to replace the log with a temporary bit of paper.

TFTC!

Thanks for doing that. Will get to it as soon as I can and fix the problem.

Must have just missed the mountain biker today.

The cache well had me stumped for a little while.

Eventually I had that aha moment.

I signed the log and was on my way.

Have been to a wedding across the road before.

Couldn't resist stopping and grabbing this one on our way home. A micro by Mulga Bill is always going to be fun and this was no exception.

Fortunately I found it straight away so I didn't have to deal with too much grumpiness from Miss 5 who was desperate to get home.

A funny little cache for a funny little place!

Mulga Bill you'll be pleased to know that this time I was actually able to put the cache back where I found it. Smile

Surprised by the fact that GZ was so close to where I parked, I suspected that this would be a little different... and I wasn't disappointed. Nice stuff, as always, Mulga Bill.

Well that took me a lot longer than I wanted it to. I spent way to much time looking on the ground, on the wrong side of the fence. I was about to give up , but decided to PaF, then the cache was soon in hand.
I love it when people put the effort into a cache and this one is a fine piece of work.
Well done. A favourite point from me.
Cheers

This is an awesome camouflage, it nearly had us defeated as we had come back twice, however on our last exhausted search mrs grunno turned around and seen it right in front of her. Excellent detail and fantastic handiwork TFTC ??we look forward to finding more caches by Mulga Bill

16-Jun-12
Sorry to say we did not find this cache even after spending some time looking, looking and looking! Well there is always another time and we will be back as we do like challenges
Sad We will come back to hopefully find your well disguised cache Mulga Bill.

10-Jun-12
I have only recently converted myself from 'non-caching other half' into an actual cacher. If as owner of this cache you don't want me to log this find, please feel free to delete it. I was present at the time my caching partner LouiseAnn signed this log, I hunted and was involved in the signing, I just didn't have my own profile at the time.

A caching day off to the south of Bacchus Marsh was required, so we headed off down the road and started collecting caches. The weather was overcast and the rain was intermittent, but the caches we plentiful and we had a good day.
I had found the previous version of this cache and have to agree with some of the previous finders, this version is far superior. I had trouble finding it, but thankfully Neil spotted the hide, as it is a little out place to a trained Foresters eye. We quickly extracted the log, signed it and headed home after a long day in the field. Next stop my friends house and fixing her modem.
Thanks for the cache .

10-Jun-12
Yep, very cute hide. Thanks!

10-Jun-12
Well, That is a nice hide. An easy find once the muggles that pulled up next to GZ had sorted themselves out and headed off.

Thanks Mulga Bill

So started a weekend away that took in just over 100 caches, including 4 First to Finds, about 1000 days towards the Unloved Cache Challenge (GC3KWWQ) and some really fun adventures both solo and with new and old friends, topped off with a great well attended event cache at Wedderburn.. (with yummy food too) Thanks to all the various cache owners along the way and my apologies upfront for the copy / paste style logging of those 100 odd caches.. Some of the Caches hadn't been found for between 6months and 18months which added greatly to my 15years required for GC3KWWQ.. Thanks..

This one got me started and what a great way to get started at that. I've not seen this sorta hide implemented in this way before. Therefore I've given in a favorite point, although I suspect I will finish these 100 cache logs with fewer spare favorite points that that which I've started with.... Thanks Mulga Bill..

This is the third cache that I have found in this area in the last 6 years ago. The first was by Oenze who is no longer Oenze and I am guessing the second cache washed away sometime ago.
Anyway this is the best cache here so far and I took the clever cache to the car to show featherdown.
Nice work Mulga Bill!

I don't think that I have seen a better example of this sort of hide. Nice to think some cachers have the skills to do such a good job. Much admired

Not what I expected the 'middle of nowhere' to look like from glancing at the map! What a clever little cache. Thanks it made my day to see the creativness that went into this.

I replaced a cache of mine with something along similar lines. My effort pales into insignificance after seeing your handiwork.
