On our drive out we had been muggled by an elderly gent out walking his dog. Muggled is an understatement because he had decided to take a seat and a rest right on top of the cache. At least on the drive back he had found a better spot to park his rump. Finally we were on our way to our accommodation after an excellent day of caching and a drive down from Brisbane. Lets just say we got very happy at the hotel and probably werent going to be out bright and early the next morning. tftc
With dot558 leaving it late getting to next destination as caches are stacking upThanks for the caches
TftcAfter attending the Winter in Woopi, I thought I would do a couple of quick caches before I headed home and before it became too dark. Quick find #4
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
On the hunting trail with Liz & Bruce on 2024 New Years adventure. Quick find here. Another great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Headed of from Coffs towards Grafton picking some of the hides, along the way. Arrived home tonight to discover a few ticks had enjoyed a free journey.[:(!]
Stopped off here where the container was found after a short search, once at GZ.
Thanks earthly65 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We started the trail from the "Woopi" end, gathering quite a collection of smiley tokens, including this one, to add to our geo map.
Be mindful of the local ants which were keen to be part of the action! They have decided the container makes a great home.
Thanks to earthly65 for creating this interesting trail of caches.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

As we slowly head back home to Qld, we are checking out some of the roads less travelled with plans to return. The finds we had today were in good condition and relatively easy to find.
Thank you, earthly65, for placing this cache for the geocaching community to enjoy during their travels

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

A straightforward find on a short detour in between doing the Woopi and Emerald Beach ALs. This spot may well have copped a bit of flooding ... the logbook is saturated though I managed to be able to scrawl my name thereon. Thanks for the smiley earthly65.
It was getting close to sunset when we headed off the Pacific Highway to find this cache. We both remember trips along the coast, going through pretty much every town and many bridge crossings. Now it is an impersonal speedy trip down the highway. Fortunately, we have caching to take us off the well-beaten track. We could not park very close to GZ, so we walked the 100m or so back down the road. We found the cache exactly where we expected. The cache is in good condition. Thank you for this cache earthly65.

A little trip north today for some caching. With Frankie the labradoodle puppy in tow, we managed to make 29 finds today. Really enjoyed our WoopiBucca drive and we'll be back to finish the series another day. Thanks for your caches earthly65!
Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

We did our best to evict the hundreds of ants that had taken up residence. We used some sticks to also get rid of the eggs as well. Thanks for the cache.
Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
The rain over the last few days had lifted the water over the bridge as seen by all the branches caught in the rails.
The cache was still fine though.
Thanks, Robmc.

When the rain cleared this afternoon we took.thw opportunity to go for a bit of a drive/explore... Found a handful of caches as we passed by, the most difficult part of which was convincing the muggle-man/driver to make multiple stops so... half a dozen was apparently his limit Thanks for the hides earthly65
After caching yesterday in coffs, we saw these ones when heading home, so after reading the descriptions and looking at the D/T, we thought, these would be a nice start to the day, before we looked at Emerald Beach Adv Labs. However this was not to be the case, either we were having a bad day, or GPS in this area is crap, we struggled through the first 5 even with up to a 17mtr gz error, so I recalibrated the GPS, but was still having mixed success, it would be spot on for one, then out by 10 on others, not the best in this type of terrain.
unfortunately it was not an enjoyable day caching, it took far too long for the amount of caches done, that we were stuffed and unable to do Emerald Beach, but it is done now, traffic was light, but a few logging trucks (thankfully empty) speeding along the roads so take care if it is logging season.

It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found. Thank you to earthly65 for placing this series of caches.
Had a fun caching day with goingplaces2 and found most of the ones we looked for, signed logs and replaced all as found. TFTC.

Nice quick find while caching with friends along this pretty country road, some views were exceptional when glimpsed through the tree line. This one was not quite what I expected from the hint but an easy find was made. TFTC
Our group DRJ (DiamonJs, Richond Lad and joojoo57) had these caches west of Woolgoolga on our list today. Completed the new series as well as some other cachers close by. Thanks to the COs for your time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment to find. It is very much appreciated.
Out and about caching today caching near Woolgoolga and area west doing a trail of caches and other caches along country roads. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches for them to be found (sorry about the generic log ). Most were easy to find, however there were a couple that needed more time to locate. Log signed as DRJ which represents us 3 cachers - DiamonJs, Richmond Lad and joojoo57. Thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC
Hitting this trail today with a couple of hours in hand. Ready to go with this awesome drive. These caches were great. Loved the drive. Thank you.
