I don't know if we were looking on the wrong side - we certainly searched and searched where the GPS took us, but just couldn't find it today.
After lunch we went for a drive to find a few more caches around the Palmerston area. Last cache for me today. Found after a bit of a search. TFTC, Biggles.
A quick find. Some one has been looking after the cache as it was in good condition. Thanks
Looking out for some caches on my way back to Invercargill this evening. Quick find here. Thanks for the cache BigSmoke
A long weekend and we were heading to Karitane for the night. On our journey we stopped off for a few quick caches in the area. Took a couple of attempts to have a decent search as a few cars passed. Nice new log book. Tftc
Found the cache on the opposite side to where the map on my app said it should be. Container in a badly broken condition. I have replaced the cache and hidden it on the side that the map says it is. The new container is bigger than the previous container but I didn’t have anything smaller
After a couple of very wet days in Dunedin, StreetWalkerNZ and I woke to a glimpse of blue sky and sun but with more rain predicted, we started early to make the most of the good weather on our drive north to Moeraki. We even had time to do a wee tiki tour around Palmerston and environs.
Initially, we looked on the wrong side of the road. Once on the "right" side, we found in the cache in pieces, so reassembled and left where we found it. TFTC.

Yes it does but it wasn't the easiest of finds with the traffic and keeping out of sight of the woodcutters below. All signed off in the end. TFTC # 13,294
A quick park and grab while out about grabbing a few caches up this way. Easy find on to the next one TFTC
Heading home after a weekend caching up with kjr in dunnas, time for a few on my way nice quick find tftc
Thanks for replacement log. Last cache for me today. Need to get back to Dunedin for school pick up.
Had a nice walk along the beach to the mouth of the Shag river. Then a finding a few cache around Palmerston before heading home.

TFTC! Discovered this one with the magnificent WGHS Activities Day Geocaching team.
Found it but it is very slimy inside the cache. A bit of algal bloom in there [XX(].
It is quite green and unfortunately it is all over the logbook. It needs a bit of a clean and a replaced log I think. Thanks

I drove up from Dunedin to to Oamaru today on my way to attend the weekend's Geofest Event. I ventured off the main highway a number of times to explore the country byways. There was of course the odd cache to find along the way as well. All in all a very pleasant trip with some interesting places and great views along the way. Cheers and TFTC

Decided to spend today grabbing a few caches with Hevic up in Palmerston. Here was our first stop. We found the cache fairly easily after parking nearby, though we found it to be very wet inside. The log was a touch damp but easy to write on. Cheers!
Quickly Found with Granville86a on a lovely weekend for a caching trip to Palmerston. Thanks for your cache placement
Found with MrandMrsChosen1978, A nice easy find, Retrieved 2 TBS from the cache and will place further north.
Had to wait for a few vehicles to go over the bridge before retrieving.
Cheers for the cache.

I just needed one for the day and a drive to a place that just deserved one seemed a perfect match! Lovely spot, and surprisingly busy! Had to wait out a few cars coming past, pretending to enjoy the sunset - not too much pretending required, the sunset was amazing, although it got even better after I left gz to drive back. TFTC!!

Day 3 of our 5 Day end of year geocaching trip. Today was our biggest day with 75finds and 4DNFs with most of them being park and grabs. A quick easy find. It was nice now that the sun was starting to heat up. Sorry for the late log but Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3269[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 41/75[/green] | [blue]Cache of our trip: 108/235[/blue]
Guwapo, Mama & Papa are off on a road trip north of Dunedin accompanied by Woody104. After a spot of lunch and a trip around the farm we went to look for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Seemed rude not to stop for this one on the way. Retrieved GC. Salamat!
5986. After the previous cache this one was a quick find. However, the cache needs lots of attention. A wet soggy mess! We bagged up the soggy stuff and added a new log sheet in a clean dry bag. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
TFTC - a fantastic afternoon in East Otago caching. Very wet cache log. Couldn't record log due to damp.
I knew exactly where this was going to be using Goggle maps street view prior to getting down there for the find.
Cache and notebook is extremely wet, but alas I had no new pages to place in cache. managed to scribble name on a blank page
Cheers and thanx for the cache

Time to let the dogs out for a swim. No one around for the whole group, so great time to get into it. TFTC #358
We walked across the bridge to this one and saw 2 big trout down below in the river. One in particular was HUGE. This sure is a busy area and a nice spot for a cache. Thanks for bringing us here Big Smoke. TFTC
Nothing exciting or notable happened here, but I do appreciate collecting the Smiley.

You are not wrong, lots of things we have seen deserve a cache - we really don't need many reasons. Cache a quick find. TFTC

Found we had a bit of spare time today so stopped in Palmerston for a coffee and a quick download of a few caches to help occupy the time. Really enjoyed all the finds in this lovely little town.
Many thanks for the placement.
