Just waiting for a new cache container of the type that was there to arrive in the mail
It's gone!! We came here with some fellow cachers and were excited about them finding this little beauty. Seeing that we were the last to find we knew where to look. We had replaced it well hidden and were very disappointed to see that it's gone!!! We loved this one and were disappointed our fellow cachers wouldn't be able to find it.
Quick find with the essendon bomber and cub. Nice to take the dog for a walk too. TFTC.
Enjoyed day with my niece (first time geocaching), easy to find as hide very well thanks
I havent seen one like that before Nice hide but stumbled upon quite easily. TFTC.
Beautiful spot and an easy find, the dog and I had a quick dip and went off looking for #2
I wanted a short walk today to do a bit more of breaking the new boots in so this walk looked perfect, after parking the car and working out the final for the multi also at the car park i walked over to this one and had a look for it while putting on the new boots (for once I had an excuse for muggles if needed).
So after a look round i soon spotted the cache, not having found one of these before but having knowledge of them made this a easy find, now the hard part was getting the log out, after digging out the old SAK the log was soon out signed and replaced.
After doing the rest of the series and walking back I spotted a group of 'muggles' at GZ and then noticed they were looking the same way as me a couple of hours ago, so I walked over to say hello and it was soon confirmed that they were also cachers.
We had a nice chat about some of the local caches and some of the great cachers that have hidden such, not having meet many cachers since moving here it was nice to have a chat and i said i'd keep my eye out for their names in logs in the future but now i come to write this log i cant for the life of me remember any of the aforementioned names, i'm sure they will come flooding back to me when i read their logs nice to meet you all.
Thanks for the cache

Time for this one again. After a little encouragement from Sue&Peter and the right attitude a quick find was made. Emboldened with that success it is now time to complete the series. Thanks.
Had a couple of hours before picking up Jr geo from Glenorchy and thought a few caches would be a good idea. This was after the superhero series in New Town. A quick find. Will be back to get the rest of the series soon. TFTC
Day 2 of our escape from the NT trip, seeking some relief from the tropical build up
What a beautiful track. Would be very pleasant to do daily walks along here and great caches to boot.

Found with GeoDad Tiltonspire. Excelent cache hide would get a fav. point if I could
TFTC!
TFTC!
Loved the hide. Found on a wet show day! Braved the elements with geoson Rexamite to do as many of the new Newtown Rivulet caches as possible before either drowning or becoming so wet we had to get a change of clothes. Signed the log although it was so wet I'm not sure our log got washed away!! Good one Budgietas, TFTC.

Day 3 of a 3 day Tasmanian Adventure
Having done some of the tourist attractions on the first couple of days today was an emphasis on geocaching and some of the recommendations made to me by the locals.
The first of the series which set the tone for was to follow - I had been pre-warned that this series could be time intensive.
A quick little find without drawing any attention from the radio controlled cars enthusiasts.

Wow, we are learning how to do caches in the rain in Tassie while on holidays. Nice quick and easy walk on a lovely day while visiting geodaughter and partner, thanks for bringing us here.
Found with scottymyth and Ainstar, clever hide.

We went south today for a spot of caching. Our first stop was the New Town Rivulet Track. Accurate coordinates resulted in a quick find. We first came across this type of hide in melbourne in 2010 and have since used one ouselves. The cache is in good condition although the log is almost full. This was a good start to what proved an excellent cache series. TFTC budgietas.
This was a great series of caches. We arrived to an empty carpark, but as we were getting ready for a series hunt, another car arrived and the occupants took forever to get ready to go off on their walk - mind you, they probably wondered what we were doing as well. Once the coast was clear we made a quick find - although with the benefit of hindsight, the coast didn't really need to be that clear!!
The last day of my Tassie vacation and we wanted to get this series before making our way to the airport. Unfortunately the weather held us back a little and 2 hours was insufficient for us to complete this series. Never mind, I'll be back to get the ones I missed the next time I'm on holiday here
GeoDad found his one. I am quite familiar with this particular form of camo as the cache closest to my work and inner city parking space is one of these and I literally see it every day as I walk from car to work and back again

Found on my excellent Tassie vacation with Sylken.

A nice, quick find for the first in this series which was recommended to us by "biggles58". Found with geodaughter "Karopi" who had to be at the airport in two hours time. Thought we'd do as many as we could before hareing off to catch a plane. Unfortunately couldn't afford the time to walk the track but guessed it would be very pleasant if we'd had the time. Thanks for the series Budgietas. [^]
Nice easy one to start with but I somehow think Budgietas won't be this generous as the series goes on.
Couldn't extract the log, needed a small tool. Kids passed over this one, but I'd seen one before, so quickly spied. Nice place for a summer swim.
This was the last cache of the day. Couldn't do this one first in this series due to muggles being at GZ. when we returned the area was muggle free and off we went in search. Round and round and round we went. Must have been a case of cache blindness because it took a while to find it and then suddenly BAM there it was. back the car to get a retrieval tool, log signed and cache returned. Time for home. Thanks for the cache
Having done most of the rest of this series we arrived at GZ. Now that the muggles had disappeared, it left us alone to find the cache in peace. Took a while to zero in on GZ as we were half way between two likely hiding places. Tim Tam soon spotted it and then it was back to the cachemobile to extract the log - I used an LED!
Thanks for the cache

I needed a distraction while my baby was having an orientation session at the place he will be starting daycare next week, and this series fit the bill nicely!
We found the cache 'dislodged' from its spot. I couldn't retrieve the log sheet, but photographed the cache with my GPSr.
Thank you for the cache!

Searched diligently both before and after finding #2. Either eyes or GPSR (or both) not working correctly.
This is a great little cache. Thanks to those previous visitors who recommended tweezers, this was a big help with logging! First of it's type we've found. Found with Geopup-K. Found @ 2:30pm
It did not take long to find, although Sue did say it was not a cache but something left behind by a schoolboy. Try as we might, the log couldn’t be extracted though. Must take tweezers in future.
See the details of the days searching at the New Town Rivulet Track #7 log.

An easy start and an easy find. I couldn't extract the logbook though, so couldn't sign it so will have to return with an appropriate tool one day.
Pretty spot by the River. Visited this cache with xambo4u. Enjoyed the walk along the river that followed
Out and about this morning with Roulette enjoying the 53rd national square dance convention. Having some free time we checked out the area for our favourite hunt game. We parked the car close by and took a stroll along the river. We were on limited time now but so glad we started this series. I have seen these hides before so it made discovery easy. Great location and our next one seems to be on a flat track.
Thanks for the cache Budgietas love the series.

I had some spare time today so I thought I would enjoy a walk up this track to collect the new series. I made a quick find which gave me confidence with the rest of the hides. TFTC (Log has only one space left)
It's a bit offputting to pick it up, but was fairly sure that i'd found the hide, having seen this type once before. Very clever disguise, thanks budgie.
1st for the day. After umming and arring for several minutes we decided to be brave and retrieved the cache without incident. TFTC
A nice easy find to start off a great series. Thanks Budgietas for all the time and effort you must have put into this series. Log sheet nearly full.
After grabbing a few caches and having some dinner, we decided that we would head out in the dark for this series. We had a little trouble getting to the log, but after a quick visit to the car we had it sorted. TFTC!
The first of our four finds today with LittleBug12 & the geomutt. Didn't take too long. TFTC
Hi Budge
Having helped with your placing these caches and wanting to fill a calender day today, got this one this morning along with Numbers 2-4. Only claiming each of these caches as Beta finds.
Ran into RebornCyclist at Number two as I was coming back from Number four.
God I hate being short.
Thanks for a great series and a lovely morning walk.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.

A reasonable first search failed to spot the cache - well that's not quite true, I did spot it once just for a moment, but then didn't look at the right angle again.
When I came back again with OldSaint, he suggested the right area, and then I DID look the right way and quickly had the cache in hand.
Yet another clever hide.
Thanks, budgie.

Well what to do first thing in the morning before work and a few new caches have come up duringthe night? Pulled up at the first parking spot loaded co-ords and armed myself with the latest in night time geocaching hunting equipment. Stopped at GZ looked one spot then looked at cache and removed and soon signed log. Have read and seen this cache before but this is the first time I have come across one in the wild.
