Found with im lost! Nice and quick while waiting for Bluesky camping to open.
Decided to jump in the car and go on a road trip with my son. Ended up staying right near hear so thought I would grab this cache. I replaced the plastic bag as the old one was broken and log was wet. TFTC

Suscoe's 19th find of 24 as we head to the north east for a few days.
The weather was quite wet today and the strong wind was with us all the day long.
A quick find here.
Thanks to TheButtonBandits.
Time to head to the final we reckon, but one more cache before that.

Another P366 day, couldn't get help with this one, too many busy roads, had to grab it quickly and get back before the bus left me behind. Thanks for the cache TheButtonBandits.

Found as part of geomums birthday weekend in wangaratta. Great to have some easy ones to find.
#801 Easy find as not hidden in the manner it should be. Didn't have a garden trowel so put back as found. TFTC TheButtonBandits.
The Iamapoms were staying at a pet friendly motel 428m away from this cache. Woody the Geodog needed his evening fecal and urine squeeze, so a cache was a good excuse for a nice walk. Walked down the opposite side of the road, until the footpath ran out at the bridge, and then crossed over this quiet main road. There were lots of noisy frogs in the swampy bit under the bridge. When we arrived at GZ there were folks in the motel spa, so we had to be quiet behind the fence. Cache was quickly in hand and signed as best I could in the darkness. Thanks for the cache.
The cache was in full view. I moved it back against the fence and hid it with bricks. TFTC.

A group of us Canberra Cachers heading down south for a run around Beechworth, mainly to find all the HSS series but we took the opportunity to gather up some other nearby caches , Completed the HSS and some of the MRT series with a mixture of Bikes and Car as well as some short walks. Found a bit over 200 caches that weekend
Thrid and last day found with Albida
doh yet another of our revisit which we attempted about a year ago.. and would you believe we found it it less than 5 seconds surely it wasn't there before .. any good to mark this off our DNF list... thanks
As it turns out this is the last cache of our trip , no for some lunch before heading north back home.

Beechworth HSS trip March 2014 with Mtrax, Sol de Lune and Fitzy. Most of the journey was made up of the HSS puzzles which were all solved before the trip with very little input from me. The collections were made on bike or by car. The various bike legs were the highlight and were very enjoyable. We did manage many other caches in the region and all in all it was a great trip with friends with a good mix of caches and great food at the local pub. Thanks.

Staying overnight next door, ducked out for a post-prandial perambulation and just had to grab this cache. Unfortunately no time on this trip for the rest of the series, have a long drive yet. Thanks for the cache TheButtonBandits
Rated: for Overall Experience
This was only meters away from where we slept last night and it provided us with a quick easy find on our way to the nearby store for some essentials that we had forgotten to pack for our annual trip to the Wangaratta Jazz Festival.
GPS INITIALLY had me around the back of the creek but soon realised I should be elsewhere a a quick find then ensued Collected the clue. TFTC The ButtonBandits
Heading off on our long journey to Geelong for the Australian Masters games, we collected on our way past. Can't get past how dark it is in the country, no city lights here. TFTC
After doing a few caches in the country side in the morning we decided to do a few closer to town after lunch.
This was a little trickier that the others, but glad to be able to log a find.
Worth a favourite point

second time looking for this not so many muggles today so geoHolly spotted this strait away. tftc.
Thought I would do a couple before it rained - GPS had us wandering a creek then we worked out we needed to go around the corner TFTC
Pleased to collect this one as we missed it when we did the others. Clever cache. TFTC
Found this one with a previous finder and there seems to be a little cache creeping she thought, anyway we put it back where we found it. SL TFTC
Everything was wet again and the new bag had water in it. The bags do not work if finders do no zip them closed again. Dried out the contents and replaced the bag. TFTC.
6570 + 822 = 7392. Found during a great weekend caching in Northern Victoria.
Next find of the trip after finding the 12 Puzzles of the S series up the road. Drove off the highway here and started The Button Bandits Trail... A quick find and one of my favourite types of hides. Think I have enough info now to try the Mystery later on during my trip.
Thanks again TheButtonBandits !

We actually lived in Wangaratta before geo caching was born. It is very interesting to return now and see the area from a totally different perspective. After a rocky start at stage 1, our name was soon added to the log here.

What seems easy for some does not work out for me. Oh well, maybe another time, unless you would like to send a hint. I'll be in town all weekend. Thanks.

Pulled into the motel we were staying in for a couple of nights and the GPS told me there was a cache 14 metres away! So of course the plan was to grab this in the next day or two. Had settled in for the night and turned on the Australia Day concert from Parliament House when Jimmy Barnes came on and he sounded terrible! I have heard him live before and he was actually good but tonight it seems he had lost it. This was enough incentive for me to get away from the tv and wander to find this close cache. Thanks for rescuing me and by ears from pain!
Found most of the caches in this series fairly quickly, some took us a bit of different thinking but Really enjoyed the challenge. Almost complete. SL..TFTC
Staying at Oxley to do some caching in the area.
The Button Bandits Trail is one of the series we did today,
except for No. 1 due to muggles in the area.

This one was a horror story. Searched all the spots that I thought it would be but nothing. There is however an enormous amount of rubbish around which really confuses the situation. Read the logs and tried the different co-ords but still nothing. Now sweaty, covered in grass seeds and scratches decided that it was going to be a DNF. Sat down in the shade for a while to recover and then one last attempt and OMG there it is miles from GZ but in good nick. Signed log and then replaced closer too GZ. t4tc

I came up to Wang with Team Crackers to attend an event in the area. We decided to spend some time grabbing a few caches before travelling up the hills to the event. All in this series were found quickly and log signed. We did it in the geomobiles but would have been enjoyable on foot or on a bike. Thanks TheButtonBandits for this series.
Day two of our caching weekend with micaparamedic while on the way to BettyBoo3747's pre Christmas event and after spending the night in Wang we had time to do a few more caches before heading there. We turned the GPS on to find out where the nearest one was and we were happy to find this one only twenty metres from our room so we had a nice pre breakfast walk to an area that could be very busy but today with all the shops still shut we were the only ones around. We hunted around for awhile and couldn't find anything at gz so we read a couple of the previous logs and found a more accurate set of co-ords and not long after we were signing the log and collecting the information
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1450. A wonderful line of Lombard Poplars along the start of the nearby Great Alpine Road. Would be worth returning in autumn to see them in their golden glory. Spent quite a while searching around our indicated GZ before phoning a friend for a tip, then finding the cache a few metres away. Although the posted coordinates are within normal expected accuracy, we've added our own reading at GZ for future reference. Our thanks to TheButtonBandits.
On the way to the Bright market and thought I would get this one while Cat was in buying a sun shade for the car ... TFTC
This one has nearly become my nemisis but this evening I finally put it to rest with a little help from Feathertop. I'd already found the final to the series so didn't need the numbers.
Thanks
Thanks
This one gave me the most grief and I almost added my name to the role call of dnfers.
Luckily it was late afternoon on a Sunday so the carpark was almost deserted bar a few shop cleaners going about their work.
The cache was not in the first place I looked, nor the second but was found after I expanded my search a little further west.
Thanks

micheena - In Wang for PD Memorial and Birthday Event. Soon had it after gps settled.
I such a public spot, i was very hesitant looking for this cache. But after zoning in on GZ the cache was quickly found and the information gathered for later use. TFTC BBs.
After a short walk to GZ we were just about to give up when I thought I'd have one quick look somewhere else

Had a couple of go's at this one. Being just over the road from our church I had time to have a quick squiz while Jen was organizing music but my search was unsuccessful unfortunately. Maybe another day.

Found with Slink1 on a day in Wang. TFTC SL Just refueled with food and so off for another run and this time doing this series to unlock the puzzle.
There was a bit of activity happening here, but, all the muggles were preoccupied and the cache was soon in hand. Had to wait for gps to settle as it was moving around a bit.

Cache log is very wet. We had the same trouble with a cache similar to this one so we went with the totally sealed one and that has done the trick.

Darnit - our second DNF for the day We felt very exposed, even with the GeoMazda for a bit of coverage. We read the logs for hints but had no luck unfortunately
I was up in the Cobram / Tocumwal for a few days and as it turned out TDC (Trailrunning and Blacklegend (and a couple of mini-Blacklegends) and I) was able to meet today for a huge run of caching along with our good friend Roostaman who was staying in Wang. We started off in Wangaratta and headed east to Myrtleford before concentrating our efforts there and then heading back west to Wang. We met our compadre Trailrunning in Myrtleford for a huge and legendary TDC day of caching. We managed to clean out the whole Myrtleford area apart from one multi cache that was MIA.
The weather during the day was initially on and off with showers hindering our run but by the early afternoon the weather had cleared and the sun had started to show its face. We had a nice variety of finds for the day with a range of multis, puzzles and trads baggged, all of varying terrain and difficulty and hide type. Overall we had a very enjoyable day which had us ending up at the Maccas in Wang for a well deserved meal of burgers and fries.
The hide had us going for a while but we eventually found it. Thanks for the hide.

Found on another great trek with The Demolition Crew. The weather was clearing for a while so it looked like a dry day but it changed and the rain turned on and off but eventually cleared up again. We had a full day of caching from Wangaratat to Myrtleford and beyond. Overall, an excellent day and great company.
Another tricky hide that took a bit to locate, even though we have all seen this type many times. TNLNSL TFTC,
Roostaman.

#2800 Our 2nd cache for the day and a very busy place here midday on a Saturday. We were able to park the NotSoNinjaGolf for some caching coverage - most cars were parked quite away from us. Dad soon had the apt cache container for its location in hand. Our thanks to TBB's for the cache and series.

Distance from original: 9.7 feet or 3 meters.
I checked and this one has been moved slightly from original spot, only slightly, ive made a slight change to accomodate for this.

I think we just about turned over every leaf in the area for this one, but no luck. We did pick up a bit of rubbish the first time we were here. There is still a lot left for everyone else.
No luck for us here today but with enough clues we headed off for the likely finish.
555. Even FFP got out of the car to search with BB and JAC. No luck but we thought we could divine the co-ords of the final.
this was found yesterday and as far as i can tell co-ords seem okay and cache is still in play. Ill email DNF teams a further clue.

Sadly a DNF with Wilbert67 early this morning. We parked the car so as to try and be discrete, but we still felt exposed. Maybe it is further in the bushes than we looked, at any rate we could not turn anything up and so moved on to greener pastures.
Although still early we defenitely felt exposed and watched here. Gave it a good look with no luck and no idea weather the coords again are way of or spot on? Maybe on another trip over the border Hoojar and I will be more lucky?

Had a few things to do in town today and we were just driving past, so we drove in. Strange spot to put a cache. We made the search a bit harder than it needed to be, but found it eventually.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
# 569. As we arrived in Wangaratta Robmc noticed a cache close by so we detoured in here to search. Took a little longer than we would have liked and we felt a little conspicuous here poking around in the bushes. Took note of the information provided, signed log and on to the next cache.
