Logs
This cache is now in someone's backyard and requires climbing their back fence to access, which doesn't seem to be how it was when it was placed in 2012. There has been no response to Trifolia Argentea's request for attention 4 years ago when it seems the situation changed. Visited as close to GZ as it's possible to legally get to, but couldn't search for the cache, today. If it is the CO's private property I feel a note on the cache page feels necessary, but I doubt that is the case, given the fence climbing issue.
Obviously property development has overtaken this former green space so having to remove this cache
Didn't find it, felt a bit weird scrounging round on private land so went for the others in the area.
We were out enjoying the hills on a lovely day. A group of us had just been to Carabina City and we stopped for this cache on the way back. A bit puzzled as this seemed to be on private property, but the cache owner came out of house and told us it was OK to go and get it. I voted Mr C to go over fence and retrieve cache. We picked up Trackable QCXWRT from the cache container even though not showing it is here, last log 2014 in cache The Love Shack archived. Will move you on when travel has opened again to try and get you home.
Thanks for this cache richbritty.

Felt like we were on private land but CO appeared from the house and gave us encouragement and was soon signing the logbook
As others have pointed out, this is on the wrong side of the fence. No doubt the fence was not here in 2012 when the cache was placed. But a house is now being built here, and clearly this is private property and will shortly be someone's back yard. We did slip through the fence to try to find it, as others have done. We had a good hunt around but did not find it. We would have stayed longer, but then became aware of neighbours staring at us out of the window of the house overlooking this property. That house is obviously very new, and they have probably moved in very recently. The CO should retrieve the cache from the private property while they can and shift it to a spot where it will not be so obviously in view of the new houses.
Good hide. GZ very accurate. Keeping on up Kenton Track. Cool easterly up here.

What a nice day out! I came out to this area on an FTF hunt (success!). How could I pass up the chance to do some more. Took a wee while to know how to approach this one, as there was a muggle neighbour working in her yard, and wondering what I was up to. Decided to grab it on my way down, but after walking up a bit, I found the style, and went down the other side of the fence to make the grab, away from her watching eyes. Hee hee! With the construction here, might be wise to move this one to the "right" side of the fence. On to the next!

Beautiful morning for a few caches and a walk! As I came from the path, I did not quite expect it on the other side of the fence until I read the logs. TFTC!!
Walked up from Kenton Track Traverse to this one. Had to squeeze through fence here to get to the other side. Cache was well hidden but found eventually, tftc!
Had a great hike up in the John Britten Reserve this morning and found several caches - great reason for the hike! Thanks for bringing me up here, TFTC
We looked for a while on the wrong side of the fence - once we got that sorte (believe the GPS) it was a quick find. Lots of construction taking place around and about. T4tc
Took ~20 minutes to find it. Coordinates were forever, we just didn't look properly
#16114. We were pleased to find we were on the right side of the fence, and were also pleased to make a quick find. Good views from GZ. TFTC.
StreetWalker and I headed to the hills this morning to find some caches to bring our find count for the 8th Sept to at least 20 finds. A successful outing with all caches looked for found.
It's been a while since we have been up here, not since the earth quakes, anyway. It was interesting to see the developments in the valley below.
We parked close by and soon were at GZ, where SW quickly found the cache. TFTC.

First on the wrong side of the fence, but managed to find the cache after following the GPS. Logbook is a bit wet, but still useable. Not quite sure what will happen to GZ with the house development in the area though. TFTC
Quick find on a glorious day. Onwards and upwards. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent aka TB (prev known as BJ25). Find # 1789
Found on the open ground. Signed log and replaced in a cranny to keep it safe. TFTH

Found on a dog walk.
It was a windy night and we stumbled and fumbled in the darkness, climbed fences there was no need to climb; but still despite all odds, we found the cache easily, once we actually managed to get to GZ.

Found on a very rainy day. Had to be wary of two Yong muggles playing in the rain. I'm sure they are the same two who were at gz the last time we tried. Left an American Boy scouts TB that wants to travel with other scouts so we thought this was a good place to leave it.tftc
Forgot my pen again! Logbook is damp, might need to be changed. Beautiful Christmas eve walk at 9pm, tftc!
Even though today was wet, had a great time finding this cache. Nice view from the hide... logbook is sopping wet so I couldn't sign. Tftc

It was a beautiful day, and I wanted to make the most of my last week of maternity leave. So I decided that I should really tick off these caches off my unfound list. My main aim was carabiner city, as it filled a gap in my DT grid to filling it twice over! But with 4 other caches in the area, planned a bit of a loop about.
My mother in law was around too, having just flown in from overseas so asked if she wanted to come join, great, so a nice wee walk was planned!
We parked pretty much right next to this cache, and got it very quick and easily - got quite a fright though from the rabbit that jumped out at me near GZ!

Not the best day for a walk in the hills but it was nice to get out in the fresh air. The cache was a quick find. TFTC.
The pine tree is growing beautifully, nice job Cubs! Staying nearby, love it when there is a close GC to find. Now for the trek to the gondola. TFTC
A cold damp and windy night up here, and a frustration with forgetting to bring a pen, and finding the one inside didn't work, so it took a bit of creative work to make a legible-ish signature. Thanks.
Found it! Thanks! Cache quite wet, dried out as much as possible. Great day up here
A hot day walking around the Port Hills today. THere are multiple log sheets, I signed the waterproof paper one.

Find 04 of 04 for the day and #1755 in total.
Awesome views from here today.
With the sun out, the breeze up and a cache to find, what else can you ask for?
Echo 1 - Spice 3
("\(0o0)/") Thanks for the caching fun!

geokid of dandynz located it while we were all out together. Great view from here. Very windy today so we headed home after this to warm up. Tftc
Thank you! Found it but not as easily as people have been saying. Not too difficult in hindsight though
A lot of house up here which really take the brunt of the southerly wind...which was blowing a gale today! Thankfully the cache was found after a short search and I could retreat to the relative warmth of my car. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. A CCC morning - coffee, chat and cache with KotukuSI which developed into a very sucessful outing as we managed to find an earth cache, an unloved puzzle for KSI and a trad I had been looking at for some time.
It was a fresh breeze at GZ. A few rock hopping steps and we had the log signed.
Thanks to Beckenham Cubs Conservation Projecat for placing the cache.

Coffee & catch up with purdiepurdie, then off to find some caches.
I really enjoy finding caches up on the Port Hills - some "low cloud" was developing as we arrived but the views were still magnificent.
I had been up here previously, to find Bo & Bronnie's nearby Cell Phone Lookout, but that was a couple of years before this cache was placed.
Thanks, Beckenham Cubs, for placing this cache & bringing us back here.

Our lad is a kea. He has been along to a couple of cub activities and really enjoyed.
2nd one for the day, with Nosynel, who will find it first, well i got to the gz quicker but didn't get the cache quicker, followed my gps in the other direction in the end and was found by my geobuddy. thanks for the hide.
Great veiw from up here. A bit of a wander to GZ and cache was soon found. Log damp but writtable but we left a new piecec of waterproof paper in case things get a little worse. great wee spot and TFTC.
Needs some maintenance as damp has penetrated container - paper now soggy. Otherwise OK, thanks.
After a day climbing with a very nice sun little break for a geocaching
I bring dome friend doing it and they start to enjoy it !! Tftc

Didn't look long last time so didn't log a DNF as I felt I hadn't given it a good enough try. This time I had the benefit of knowing it had been found since then. I also got a little nudge from someone who's been here before. A good job really as the coords had me about 3m out

As I needed a bit of exercise and had a few unfound caches in this area I decided to combine the two activities. This was the first cache. The unprotected log was found to be very damp and unwriteable. Other contents were wet and rusty - these were removed and disposed of. The log was spread out on a rock in the sunny breeze for a few minutes and it was soon crisp again. Once signed, I placed it in a ziplock bag together with some silica gel.
