I checked recently and infact it is gone. I had a long hard think about this caches future. Based on the fact I am not into geocaching like I used to be and my passion for Flagstack is far greater than geocaching it is time for this one to go. I will keep my more interesting caches but this one is too well known by the locals. That may have played a part in its disappearance.
Second DNF today. The grass is so long, no idea where to start… might have been standing on top of it. No idea!
Studied old logs, I assumed "staring me in the face" meant it was at face height when seated in the car. Maybe hanging from a tree. Maybe the grass was shorter before. Maybe my gps is wrong. Spent another hour here today. Will try again next week.
There's a lot of leaf litter. Short on time and many spiders. Will try again another day.
found after a short search with Ris768, no interesting trains today just one commuter train. thanks bisygisy and azazzlenic for placing & maintaining this cache

This was so close to being a DNF. This was the last cache for the day, the sun had set and we had to break open the Geo backpack and flash up our flash lights, and as the time ticked by, very quickly I might add, it become very dark. Team, geobuddies, StokesyWA and Mystic Seer, were just about to concede a DNF, when eagle eyes Mystic Seer spotted this tricky little camo #$%*, all out in the open just ready to be found. Very well done to the CO for cache placement, BZ. TFTH TFTC SL and replaced as found, ready for the next adventurers.
Found while visiting the Blue Mountains on a day trip with geobuddies StokesyWa and Chippyddd. Great clue and co-ordinate are good but the find was made difficult due to failing light. Out come the torches which every Geocacher has in their TOTT bag. The boys were ready to call it quits (nice one guys) but after one last sweep through the search area the cache was found. GREAT camo as it blends in very well. Definitely NO room for swaps or drops SL TFTH TFTC Cache replaced as found ready for the next adventurer. Fav point awarded - a) for the hide and b) persisting to find that last cache paid off. Great job Bisygisy
Hold crap. This cache has taken me 4 times to finally find.
Coming back one time after the other and going home with a sad face on this cache. I’m so happy I’ve found it. What a hard
Cache and well placed. Tftc

Needed a quick find today towards the Fill the Calender cache. This one fitted the bill nicely.
Checked all good here. No need to venture up top at all. Well camouflaged amongst the green.
I first searched at the top road level, but eventually figured it must be lower down. At the bottom of the slope, I had a search but again couldn't spot it. The dog opposite didn't like me, so kept barking loudly. I had to give up after a bit...
I had another look on my return to the station, but failed to spot it again.

Found old package papers dated 2013 to 2018,

Targeting a few priority caches in the Mountains today, managed to include a few quick PnG traditionals while passing. This one was a nemesis hide I’d dnf’d a few years ago. Automatically drawn to the same area I’d failed last time, was about to give up again until I read a few more logs as I walked back to my car determined to “stop” putting this one in my PQs. New idea in mind, drove to a better parking spot and literally found cache staring me in the face within seconds.
Wool socks, Tights, jeans, 2x shirts, wool jumper, puffy vest, beanie (hoodie in the car, just in case)... ready to brave the vicious winter wind!
It's been a while since I was here last and I'd decided, in consideration of the weather, that I would add this cache to my list for the day but not spend too much time here. Thankfully the cache materialised before my eyes in a very short time! I knew this would be one that when I returned I'd be thinking "how did I not find that!?" TFTC.

Cache Checked, all OK here. Had to place cache slightly different spot a month ago due to a council clean up of the area. Last few finders have managed to find it except the latest geocacher.
If you follow the CO's instructions and read a couple of the previous logs it's a snack. Why didn't I do that after searching up top and down below for half an hour. Oh well it's a nice day. TFTC
Nice hide. Thanks for he history. Had to include a photo of the log as it was too wet to write on. TFTC
Phew! I thought this might be the type of container we were looking for.
Thanks bisygisy and azazzlenic for a great caching tour of Valley Heights!

No luck. The dog and owners across the road have moved recently and so we had no canine help today.
A chance encounter with the person who placed this cache allowed us to find it on our way home! It’s tiny!
No idea on this one, says not up the slope but the marker is closest to the road up the sloap, lots of debris too
Find No.3159
Found with sesblocker.
Happy International Geocaching Day!
Good coords and nice hide! The container nearly hit team member in the eye while she went to investigate a pile of rocks, too funny!!!

This is one of those "damned caches" that is either right under your nose or nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately it's the latter for me today. I heard the dog barking instructions but couldn't understand them! :/ Maybe next time I visit it will reveal itself.
We feel happy to find this in the dark!
Knew what we were looking for and just had to locate it.
Perhaps the glint of the torch helped!

I thought I'd used my caching streak challenge to visit some places I'd never stopped before so today I came by train to Valley Heights. Travelling and walking is a great way to explore an area!
I walked from the station and around to my first caching stop, here at the Steam Stop.
Basically it ended up being a relatively easy hide but it did take a while to spot it. I'd read the information on the cache page and knew what not to do so approached from a variety of angles. What finally gave it away was the dog across the road barking instructions. I turned to look at him and then I saw the cache!
Signed the log and continued walking round Valley Heights.

On our way to Bathurst for Mothers Day, caching our way over the Blue Mountains
A quick find today, saw an old red rattler pass as we were there

After five finds today for my calendar. Of course, got to overdo it a little... Headed up the mountains as it's one of the places I can easily get this many. Well I say easily...
Unfortunately I didn't have time for any nice bush walks this time. Well, one really short one, but it was more a bush bash.
Made seven finds this afternoon as I did the loop up the M4 and back via Hawkesbury Road.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked in the legal spot and walked to GZ. Well, I thought it was GZ. OK, time to relocate. As I did I read the description - yep that would have helped.
Started the search but it eluded me for a bit. Then I turned around and... I'd been standing next to that and missed it!
Signed replaced and on my way.

We are based in Richmond for a few days and what a wonderful choice of caches. Today we headed towards Springwood and surrounds and this was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to bisygisy for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
A quick find after a DNF here last time. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTF.
Wow we had a massive case of cache blindness last time having spent so long looking. TFTC. Very good challenge to grab it
Looked through all the previous clues about walking straight into it and every log to no avail
No luck. Watching the youngster on this corner didn't help, gave the area a good search too....
Have found a few similar micros this week which helped in the dusk. A pretty easy park and grab on our way into town. Tftc
after a quiet weekend went for a drive this morning from home via Windsor to Penrith then onto Blaxland and Springwood and home via Winmalee and Richmond picking up 5 GC and 5 GA caches an the trip. Not working has its advantages.
Parked close to this one but initial search proved fruitless as I waited for the GPS to settle. Then as I returned to my starting point I spotted it. On opening I found the log was full so a trip back to the car and signed a new log before replacing as found. tftc

I have been here before and had to log a dnf, but today I found you. Sneaky little fellow. Thanks busy guys. Log full.
It pays to read previous logs, and the Hint! I wandered over to the area, looked around then up at the slope and turned around and got back in the car. Decided to read back over past logs and the hint then headed back over and found it straight away. Love the camo! TFTC
Good hide. Took us a long time to find it but ladybuggirl123 and I found it together. Tftc
Took a while to find this cache as we were searching up and above the slope. Found by treasure_hunter905. Very easy hide but coords confused us. Recent logs helped!
I should have read the clue and the description first. After I did I stood just off the road as advised from those sources, slowly scanned through 150 degrees and there it was.

Thankfully Delloro found this one whilst I wrongly went for a different approach from above. TFTC!

Wow, had a DNF on this one ages ago... It turned out to be so simple! Thanks for the cache!
