I was all ready to get out and find some caches today and after a stop for coffee, this was my first attempt.

I found my way to a good parking spot and started a wander in the direction of GZ. As I passed the park I think two young guys swinging on the swings thought I was going to steal their soccer ball as they jumped off and ran over to it as I passed.

Soon I found myself all alone near to GZ, and I got down to looking for the cache. I was struggling to find anything that really matched the hint just a little something, but nothing there. Then about 10m away I found something that I thought maybe, but that was all I could find.

I end up giving the CO a call and got confirmation the place I found was right, but the Angel Suncatcher in a blue box was nothing to do with the cache at all, just a happy coincidence.

A pity I could not find the actual cache though.

Sadly this area has changed since the dr arrived

I have a spare so he may regenerate and materialize elsewhere

29-Jul-16
Out this way so stopped to get a find for the day. Had tried here years ago with no luck but seeing it back up and running I was keen to get a smiley here.
Arrived at Zillmere PCYC to find a game of touch with the local youth and police in full swing. Very entertaining to watch. Headed to GZ and made a quick find. Log signed took the TB and replaced with a bit more GCing camo. TFTC Barbbowman

I was in the region today and saw this cache had regenerated. Turns out it was into a rather interesting outer container (which I think I am missing the reference for...). TFTC!

03-Jan-16
Searched all around but couldn't find it. Given that it hasn't been found in almost 6 months and before that it was being found fairly regularly and with apparent ease it might be worth a check by the CO.

26-Jul-15
Made a rookie mistake and forgot to bring a pen. Have taken a photo of us with log which we can email if required. TFTC

09-Jul-15
After a week of doing the things the kids wanted to do for school hols, this arvo I had a few hours of my own time to few to grab caches.

It was getting dark, but at least I had the park to myself. Found by torchlight with lots of commuter-loaded trains thundering past. All good here TFTC

04-Jul-15
Sorry to say I am just not a Dr Who fan, so all I read was blah blah blah. What I AM a fan of is BB's eclectic sense of cache containers! Love it! Thanks for another great hide.

04-Jul-15
With the trust bicycles thrown on board for today just in case, they were put to good use here as we cruised from our parking spot, past some softball games in full swing (pardon the pun), and across to GZ. Initially we thought we may be muggled out with an old bloke walking his dog past GZ and sitting down nearby but he didn't cast a single look our way while we made the find. TFTC.

26-Jun-15
After quite a bit of beating around the bush, my husband finally found this one with the aid of a second gps. Bit of a red herring to call the rotting branch a "log"? T4T$ Barb. Cheers CSCat.

Relatively quick find... knew that to the containers are a little different in this series, and again was not disappointed... replaced the snap lock bag and left Etsi's LC Ring tb to continue on... oh and some American coin... tftc...

Loved the cache container. Everything inside nice and dry. It was exposed, so tucked it back into its hidey hole. TFTC! Smile

After converting the nearby puzzle cache into a smilie, I headed over to this one. Not too hard to find. In hindsight I should have brought my friend along, she would appreciate the theme more than I do.TFTC

Our 4th geo-birthday was fast approaching and we decided that if we tried really, really hard we could make a milestone cache for our geo-birthday. So a plan was hatched to target as many caches available which could be found on Mr Just a Trifle's way home from work. Unfortunately for us, the higher beings had other plans for us which distracted us from our goal and we are only just now able to find some time to log our finds from over the past few months.

On this particular afternoon, it was pouring down with rain resulting in the GPS being a little erratic. Thankfully this was an easy find and the cache was quickly in hand. With the log signed, it was quickly back to the car and off to the next cache. Thank you for having placed the cache barbbowman.

19-Aug-14
Found it on a walk with the geo gremlin, she has decided to call this one the glove cache.

29-Jun-14
Having just done a trek around Birdies and Other Creatures, quickly dove over to grab another in this series.

Left Lanyard, took nothing, otherwise did not need a hand.

This was a short walk away and from memory this was the only way to it, so I set off across the park. I think I had played golf here once before but didn't get to play the whole course. Well today all the couse was being covered. Absolutely not another sole in sight. and a quick find in the secluded spot.

2nd find of the day we did a little bit of bush bashing but was ours in the end TFTC
appreciate the effort

24-May-13
Found the cache whilst out with Nyssaflutterby and her mini munchkin. This doctor is definitely my favourite! I grew so much more attached since I saw the last 2 episides of this season. Thanks for the cache barbbowman... will you pop a new one out for john hurt?

24-May-13
YAY! Finally this series is done and dusted. Out with mini munchkin and Net88 to grab this cache this afternoon. We walked past all the school muggles playing their games and crossed the bridge. The paddocks over here were muggle free Smile MM was having fun chasing the birds off the oval as we made our way to GZ. It was a quick search to find the interesting cache. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Now the race back to the car before the rains start.

Found while geoson was playing AFL regional trials on the nearby fields. Lovely day.

Thanks for the cache.

10-Mar-13
Wasn't sure when I saw it if it was the right place or something someone was trying to hide after a bit of an "accident". Unfortunate camouflage for this area though.

03-Jan-13
After grabbing a puzzle nearby, I looked around and was again surprised by the saturation of caches in this area. I parked as close as I could and enjoyed a morning walk over and back. All fine here today and I enjoyed your work with the container: freaky stuff!

03-Jan-13
Found with little trouble.

03-Dec-12
With my fezz, bowtie and stetson firmly in place, I set off to find the 11th doctor... Well it was quite a walk on a hot day... And after looking at the passing transportation, I then set off to find him! And that I did!!

Thanks barbbowman.

Another sunny Brisbane day and I was out and about on the pushbike Smile
I always feel like I have traveled back in time when I cross the river to the North, or dark, side of towne Razz
So it was fitting I found the latest installment in this series of caches here at the centre of all the dark matter Big Grin
As another train rattled past nearby, I found the cache.
I've got to hand it to barbbowman.
This is another fun cache find [^]

Out hunting some blue dots in the area this was also on my radar. The park was very quiet at 8am on Sunday morning Smile Nice container Wink

Tried to find this one yesterday in the drizzle, but we had forgotten to load it up. So back we came today to make the easy enough find as trains whizzed by. Picked up a surprise GC as well! tftc barbbowman

Well, I always like to keep a hand in caching Cool.

Took an opportunity to ensure that them dastedly muggles would be too busy heading home to worry about what I was up to on this windy Brisbane day.

I took the advice of fellow caching notes here and ensured my car was on the 'good side' of the gate. Wink Only problem was I wasn't entirely sure that I was looking at the right gate. Nonetheless, I did secure the geomobile much curiosity of the afternoon boozers at the nearby club.

Did the Leyland Brothers thing and soon had my grasp within reach Big Grin

Contents all nice and dry TFTC Barb Smile

While in the area today we decided to go for a little walk and find this little beauty. First in the series of a few today and certainly was a cool hide Cool Thanks barbbowman Big Grin

Out with the Parko's we had found a cache nearby when I spotted this unfound treasure. We found a suitable access point, then walked the remainder of the way Big Grin We let Dylan make the retreival and he proceeded to run around making broom broom noises with the container Razz

Thanks barbbowman. We just never know what to expect with your containers, Dylans still talking about it Cool Cache is in good condition and dry.

Second day geocaching around Brisbane, while on a geocaching holiday.

Really a great day and found my first cache just after 7-00am.
Overall 72 finds for the day and 6 DNF's

Left a Pathtag in the cache

Nice quick find at this cache. SL TFTC

10-Jul-12
Stupid, stupid, stupid TomTom. Yes - it might be 100m away.. but never mind the house and a train line in the way.

Thankfully I knew how to get into the area easily enough. The parking was busy - but as I made my way to GZ all was quiet. A few trains zipped by as I arrived at GZ. After a small hunt, I found the cache. It is in good condition. I picked up a trackable as well.

Thanks for bringing me back here. TFTC barbbowman Smile

07-Jul-12
I've never really watched a lot of Dr Who, though I am taking a bit of an interest in it with these themed caches all over Brisbane in the past few months. Must say, this Doctor fella seems like a handy sort of bloke.

Not having watched a lot of the show, the container doesn't make a lot of sense. It was not what I expected though. TFTC Barb. A pleasant Saturdays walk.

Found with EngPhil as he mentioned, while my windscreen was being repaired. We had visited this area before to find a different, and very enjoyable, cache when we first started caching Smile It was nice to come back here again. TFTC!

Find #778 at 10:25 while Palopinto's car was having a windscreen repaired nearby.

Palopinto identified the right feature but missed the hide before I came up with it. Very cute.

A geotrail has developed around this cache. We messed it up as best we could Smile

TFTC, barbbowman. I'm enjoying this series Smile

1339 - Our second find of the afternoon which we found in good condition at 1:24pm, after three or so days of rain. The rain made the playing fields extremely wet and our shoes and feet ended up quite wet and muddy after our trek there and back. Another one of the series crossed off, thanks Barb. Took the Kensington Grasshopper (2011) TB and left the Plastic Pooh TB.

29-Jun-12
When I watched Dr Who many years ago, It was one of the older guys who played the part. It would come on in the late afternoon. While doing other caches in the area, of which I did 3 of 5 today. TNLNSL TFTC Thanks barbbowman Cool

Find #895

As Alkzura mentioned we had a lovely stroll with the geobubs up to the cache. We were concerned about muggles as it was busy here today, but soon found the location had been well selected. The cache was in the obvious spot and so was quickly 'in hand', signed and replaced. TFTC

17/06/12 Find #878

NyletaM and I ventured off with the kids and use the opportunity to go for a wander with the kids and grab a cache. It was very busy in the local area today, but the GZ was well away from the muggle activities. After chatting to a muggle excercising the geohounds, we headed off in the direction of the cache.

A pleasant stroll later and a quick search, NyletaM had her hands on the interesting cache container (or was it the other way round?)

Thanks for the cache barbbowman.

With a growing number of caches in this park it was time to pay a visit and clear the area. I soon go a hand on this cache to help out the good Doctor Big Grin

Out with Ghostgums, P'prime, Gunnie69 today - (target 100 + a ramble)

This is the last of this series for us today..

parking on the street we headed across a car park & through an open gate towards the cache - comments where made regarding maybe driving in instead of walking - proved prudent we didn't as gate was locked on way back out...[B)]

relatively quick find once we hit GZ with a cool crafted container..[^]

TNLNSL

Thanks barbbowman for the cache

16-Jun-12
The last one of this series for us today and another hike from the car park. The gate was open onto the track as we approached and we may have been able to drive to GZ, thankfully we didn't as on return, the gate had been locked and that could have made things challenging... Surprised

On arrival at GZ, I noticed the easy approach path and lead the way in. I overshot GZ though and it was P` that made the find and extracted another very well constructed cache to fit the theme... [^]

This cache creation was cool and was probably made even more interesting finding it in the dark... Smile

Log out and names in, this made cache #100 for me today and completed our mission of securing three digits... Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

16-Jun-12
Nipped out at 5am this morning for just a couple (100) caches with Gunnie69, Ghostgums and Kaisho53. This one cropped up on our GPSrs as we flew past - so we took a look - as you do Big Grin

Almost at the end of the day, it is dark and so the torches are out again. The hand of God helped us to avoid being locked in (if we driven too far the gates would've been locked behind us - but on foot was OK). Cache in our hand shortly, and off to a nearby final of the day.

Thanks, barbbowman top stuff this whole series.

{Overall find #1235, being the 99th of 100 today.}

The rain had settled enough for us to brave the outdoors today and this was first cab off the rank. After a short walk, we arrived at GZ. Coords were a couple of metres out for us but found easily once the hint was consulted. Thanks barbbowman

07-Jun-12
Having done the monster series it was nice to come across a cache which was 'armless Wink

The outer container is quite soggy. The cache 'proper' is dry and in good condition

Out and about with Brother Colin.

Number 5. I'm a fan of the Doctor and was looking forward to getting this series. And I've enjoyed the 11th Dr's episodes and can't wait for the new series on TV.

A bit of a walk to this one, and the ground is very soggy. Loved the container! Very appropriate for this Dr. However, it's pretty wet, so I hope it survives being out in the open. Contents inside are fine and dry. TFTC, barbbowman.

at about 9:25 **FTF** and in our excitement we forgot to log the time. Thanks Membsec for witnessing that we had been there.

We went to bed pleased with ourselves the night before having found all Barbbowman's available caches only to wake up the next morning to discover we had 11 more to go. Today was supposed to be our day of rest but with likely FTFs out there we had to go.

TFTC Barbbowman. The cache is fine.
