###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

We found this cache today at 12:30pm on our Emerald to Donna Buang Bounty Hunt. Parked adjacent to Spencer Track, walked south, then doubled back up Ash for the find. Did not realise that there was a report on this cache till after finding the cache. Yes, she is in pretty poor shape. Saw nice wildflowers on the return journey Thanks from D & HA B-A
After checking out the DGS Stinky Hole geocache, this cache seemed like it would be a nice walk. I enjoying the environment and the nice open trails, even avoiding the falling trees, limbs, large mud pits and puddles.
Got to GZ, and nothing relating to the hint could be seen. The undergrowth has really grown up, but eventually found it from another angle. Thinking a 2/2 for this cache is a bit low.
However now comes the downside. The metal Milo tin is getting rusty, and was full of water. This includes the plastic bag too. The log book was soaking wet and I could just sign it on a middle page that I could open.
Sorry but this geocache needs urgent maintenance and sorry but I didn't have my caching bag with me. Thanks for the cache Day 1976

Merry Christmas. OzHockeyChick, Geoturtle37 and I headed out today to do some caching. Nice relaxing day with next to no muggles. As we walked in here, I disturbed a brown snake sun-baking near a large puddle. I don't know who watched the other most intently but it soon disappeared into the bush. This one took us quite some time to locate. The undergrowth was very concealing. We were about to give up when it was found. We may have made it easier for the next cacher as the three of us looked around extensively for quite some time. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here. It is lovely.

As we wandered down the track, we spotted a brown snake enjoying itself in the sun. We stopped and watched it slither away into the bush.

A bit challenging due to undergrowth, but reasonably quick find before continuing to the next.
Out and about last night with Trailstevo and looking to complete the Gembrook Cockatoo Trail and a few other cache on the way past. Really enjoyed the night walk along the trail, got a great view of an Owl, Southern Boobook I think, plus a Tawny Frog Mouth. Soon clocked up a few Km's. Then headed north towards Launching Place and picked up a few more cache. Managed to get home by 11.30pm. TFTC day1976
Took to the trails near Gembrook and Cockatoo on a traditional hunt with Gunks. Got into double figures for the night. TFTC
FOUND !! WOOHOO !,
Always a little more excitement when you find the cache after a couple dnf’s. Took a few minutes but after reading and trusting the hint we made the find.
As for the container well it’s not in great condition, had to use my keys to open it.
Not suitable for in the bush-but the logbook WAS dry and it was an enjoyable walk.
Great afternoon and 5km walk with my boy.

Didn't find the cache but I am sure I found GZ
I noticed evidence of the scouts using the area for orienteering or similar activities.
I doubt they would have taken the the cache but you never know.

Woohoo our 4th for today.
Very overgrown and not really suitable for my young kids but I made the find on my own.

It's only now upon reading the logs that I've come to understand the naming of this series. I was going to comment that this is surely the most gentle of the set (unless perhaps there'd been a #5 I'd overlooked), but I was apparently missing (part of) the point. Nothing looks the same in the light. Anyway the stroll in was pleasant and the search was straightforward. I have a vague feeling this cache could help satisfy some barely-remembered challenge I glanced at recently. So there's a pleasing potential bonus. Thanks day1976!
Found it! Today Muggle Heather and I were reconnoitring a walk of the Walkabouters and found this cache along the way. We had started at Kirth's Kiln and walked along tracks that followed the Old Watercourse. This was our lunch stop which roughly marked the half way point of our walk. Luckily, Muggle Heather had a plastic ground sheet to sit on so we avoided any leech attacks while we ate. The cache was a quick find once the correct hiding place was located. There are a few options here and the undergrowth is very overgrown. TFTC SL The log book is nice and dry but the container had some rusty water in it, which I emptied.
Founds some time. This one is all good to go again. Amazing how much the vegetation around had grown since I placed it.
Trying to find time to get out to this one. It is so close to home, but finding a spare hour to replace this container is proving difficult. Aiming to have it done by the end of January.
MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]I notice from one or more recent log entries that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; "if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can." see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 and check out this Blog: http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/
Please respond to this situation by 14th January to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

I came here and I found it, but I must say I was not impressed with the cache itself. It seriously needs replacing. The walk was pleasant and the birds kept me entertained. Thanks Day, but you need to do some maintenance.
As others have already stated, this needs some love. Tried to write on the soaked log. Thanks
This is in serious need of maintenance, the tin is rusted through, the bag has holes, and the log is soaked
Lid is rusting and log starting to get wet.may need replacent container.it was a nice walk in listening to the lyrebird.
Today I headed out to get the first Geocaching Road Trip '15 souvenir for a cache with 10 favourites so I decided to head down the freeway and find one to get it off the list and then just continue on free styling where ever it took me to fill in the last few hours of the day. I ended up way up in the state forest past Gembrook.
Also today I wanted to head out and get this cache as well to finish off the series and to add to a list I'm working on for another challenge I'm working on, so drove around the winding roads and parked on some random track and walked in. It was very overgrown at GZ but after a couple of minutes searching I had the cache in hand. It was fully of rusty water but the log book wasn't too bad. Still writable.
Was good fun testing out the engine mods to the car around the windy roads on the way back too.
Thanks day1976 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

A last minute decision to do a few after the chores of the day saw Slink1 JT123 and myself jump in the car and do some opportunistic caches. Many thanks to the cache owners for maintaining their caches TNTN SL
Dunko called with plans to collect a few opportunistic caches to make use of the sun shine today,
Off we went with JT123 in-toe. Many thanks to day1976 for the effort and placement of this cache.

Find #1286
I headed out tonight with my caching partner Stemicmitsar primarily to continue a long Mystery cache that we have been working on for a few weeks. We did of course pick up whatever other caches we could along the way.
This cache was doubly enticing because it was both 'unloved' and a 'lonely cache' for the purpose of the "Lonely cache" challenge cache.
Finding, even in the dark presented no problems.

Tin is rusty and log book was quite wet. I'm sorry I didn't have a replacement container or log with me.
Found @ 9:40pm, find # 3336.
Tonight biggles1024 and myself continued your mission to find the next lot of waypoints for a mystery cache we are working on. On the way we were also finding others in the area as we went by, this was one of them.
This one was also targeted as it qualifies for the Lonely cache challenge.
We parked on Tentpole road and walked along Ash track until we reached GZ, we started our search and a short time later, Mark had located the cache, with the log signed we now headed back to the car.
Thanks to day1976 for placing this cache.

Found with LankBrown while out tootling with our singles through the forest. Good ride and a good find. The container is rusting now and could fall apart soon. The log is in a plastic bag but slightly damp although still usable. Left a thongs keyring. Thanks.

Find # 3300
Streak: 81 days
It is the weekend again and time to head out for a bit of a cache run with my mate SedgwickDave. The weather was looking perfect today so we set out early towards Gembrook with the main target being two of the Triplets series which we both had GZ for.
After finding the two of the triplets series, we drove around the park, picking up the caches we had not yet found. Although, this one dave had found before, he came along for the walk but once at GZ, left me to find the cache. This one was probably the gentlest of the series.
Log book a bit damp, but still fine to sign.
Thanks to day1976 for the cache. TNLN

A nice easy walk on a wet day, track was a bit of a problem at times with large puddles
and mud. Cache was fairly easy to find once we were at GZ. SL. TFTC.

Was out and about today caching around the Bunyip state park, running solo and the recent rains made for some fun driving at times, once or twice the ABS had to kick in. Not a large find tally today but an enjoyable none the less as was able to pick up a few stray caches that were still left on the map.
It took a bit to finally reach GZ and as you would expected I took what would I assume was the required direct path to discovered that GZ is just off a fire trail that wasn't on my map. As it had rain last night the pants and shoes were soaked thru but that didn't matter as cache was at last in hand, yay! . This was the final in the series to be found and I found this the easiest to complete in turn of physical effort, the others were harder. TFTC day1976, an enjoyable series too.

First cache on day 2 of my x-mas trip around Victoria and NSW, rode along the track and found it nicely. Early start of the day but so happy to be here! Thanks, TNLN.
Wow what a magnificent day to do an epic cache run!!! We saw everything from Shooting Stars to Cars in Creeks. We meandered towards Cardinia Reservoir through the hills to Cockatoo, into the Bunyip State Forest before heading to Pakenham for some night caching and then home. Kay and Tee both had good caching foo today and nary a cache avoided us.
We were blessed with a fire track being open and led us to about 300m of walking, Kay made the quick discovery, TFTC

This one was the easiest of the series although I didn't find the best way in. It was only when I did this one, the last one for me, that I realised the purpose of the series! Doh! Thanks day1976.
The Hippy went Yippy with a first to find.
Well coming home to put in the logs I have now realised what the gotta be made of means. Originally I thought they where going to be tough, but this one was quite easy with a half km walk to it. Arrived a little concerned about what I was in for following wrights coin exchange, but as with the others I had no reason to be concerned.
When I started the day I had 2 plans. The most likely one was that, I would get here I found the usuals had been here and not yet logged a ftf as the cache had been out for 2 weeks. The second was to attach the series for a first to find and that was what happened. I have a long history with Bunyip State Park including being a casual employee of what is sParks Victoria, so for bringing me back here and providing me with my favourite type of cache which is a short walk and easy find, I will award this one a favourite.
