I am reliably informed that a Lady doesn't really want persons unknown to know her age!

As per other previous logs, looks like this one may have gone.

We found the right spot but not a cache to be seen. Like the previous visitor, we think it may have been muggled. Grubbed around the area extensively to no avail. Dont want to end the day with a failure.
Spent a good 20 minutes looking high and low. Cache seems to have eluded us despite previous logs where others have said this is an easy find. Muggled??????
We found this cache today at 3:35pm as number 9 of 18 on our Gisbourne to Castlemaine trip. "A" found the cache really quickly but it took a bit of retreiving due to the growth around the area. Our 2nd cache find in this piece of park. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
Enjoying this series! Happy birthday. Left a party popper to help with the celebrations. TFTC.

In Gisborne overnight, did this one in the dark with a little torch. Nice smell of freshly mowed grass.TFTC.
Suscoe's 9th find from 38 caches today as we headed around the Gisbourne area with our good friend Bushfire.
It was a cool day with quite a bit of cloud cover and a steady cool breeze keeping the temperature in the mid to low teens.
The sprinkle of rain from Thursday had disappeared and all was good as we headed around the local roads.
Well it was coffee time and so we headed to this spot for a break and some refreshments from the thermos.
The locals of all ages were hitting balls of different sizes around on different sports grounds and so we watched quietly for a while.
The walk to GZ took place and the cache was spotted quickly as the coffee cooled.
Thanks to Robmc for placing this cache, looking forward to finding this series today.

Bushfire and the suscoe cachers decided to venture up to this part of the state and put a few more smilies on the map as we have had a number of mysteries worked out for far too long plus there are a number of multi's to test us out as well.
Leaving Geelong early with breakfast at Bacchus Marsh and then it was out to the Lerderderg State Park and this was my 7th find for the day. We had a great day finding four mysteries, seven multi's and the rest traditionals and the most important thing was no DNF's.
Busy area on a Saturday morning but terrific to see so many families enjoying the fresh morning air.
Thanks Robmc for this series and making us look for clues.

After a lovely day spent down in Queenscliff and surrounding beach towns with DoorMatt, stopped in Gisborne on the way home to find a cache or two. Looked as if the last cachers to find it had thrown it into its current position. We placed it with a bit more care.
Took nothing, but left a cute travel turtle named Toby.

Found with Eminor93 on a quick stop in Gisborne on the way home from the beach. Eminor spotted the cache and I retrieved it from it had carelessly placed. Thanks for the cache, we'll have to return to Gisborne in the future and find the others nearby.
Quick find for geo kids who were able to grab this one, with no issues. TFTC Robmc.
I have always wanted to return to my hometown of Gisborne, to do a day of caching with a sense of nostalgia and purpose. I love this place and think about it often, and today with sun shining and a day off work, I made the trip up from Geelong. Unfortunately as time goes on, not only do people change, but places do to! A Macca's, overgrown weeded waterhole, how things have changed over the past 10 years!
I will have to add on this cache, did with tshirt and shorts! Leaned in for a quick grab. Thanks!

Yipes, the previous log comment about shorts and tshirts is not far off the money. John's nice leather cap was pretty handy too! Left geonickel, took 20 centime coin! Sl, TFTC!

Found on a big day of geocaching with my dog BJ. Got a bit scratched and poked in the ribs here. Probably wouldn't recommend to shorts and t-shirt wearers TNLN. TFTC Robmc

Oh dear - this one had been muggled. Well we think so as the owner couldn't find it. Nice new container in place.
A quick trip around the series today for maintenance.
The rain held off long enough to ensure they're all now in place and good to go.
Original hide gone. Replaced container and log.

A work trip to Gisborne at the last minute today meant a few caches were found on the way home.
Thanks to all the hioders for some cool spots in the beautiful bush around here.
The winter certainly brings out all the smells of the bush which are great.
A nice easy find here, thanks for placing the cache.

Very soggy ground for heels..... What was I thinking? Glad it was a quick find. Thanks
Ootch! Saw this one almost immediately - on the ground in plain sight! Hid it a little bit better not more than a foot away from where I found it. Cache contents were also fairly damp, though the log was still writeable. Thanks to my companion for providing a little local knowledge and making the cache easier to find!
This cache was found during a Monday night cache run with Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts (TDC) as well as Poynts95 who came down with BL. for the nights run. Plenty of kilometres travelled during the run, with us starting early afternoon around Rebels home turf and finishing in the wee hours of the morning in Heathcote. A great variety of caches found with some really nice hides. Many thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches we found.
Found on a caching run with the TDC..... I was lucky enough to be able to cache with my local caching mate, Blacklegend, and the rest of The Demolition Crew on this occasion. I had a great night, lots of good conversation and great to again catch up with the TDC. My thanks to all the cache owners for their hides on the night. I don't think I can say a lot more than the others already have about the finds on the night. There were some fantastic hides amongst the caches, and some fav points will be given.

Found out and about on another TDC caching night. A fantastic run that took us far and wide, with the usual crew and with Poynts95 as well. Good conversation and laughs as always, and great to be out and about again finding....

Every week I look forward to exploring new areas with The Demolition Crew, and this Monday nights run brought us from Eric's place in Kilsyth through to Gisborne, Macedon and finally Heathcote. A long night of caching these areas, with a few nice walks and a few drivebys as well. Many thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches. Unfortunately we were only able to replace one of the two scheduled cache replacements as we ran out of time.

I had a quick find on this one as the cache was a bit too open from a casual look. Logged it and covered the cache to hide it a bit better.

This one was an easy find and an amusing retrieval - our scout assured us it was absolutely necessary to commando crawl through the bushes (I'm not so sure we couldn't have just reached in and grabbed it). We swapped soldiers. Thanks for the cache and the laughs!
thanks for the cache got it pretty easy on the way back to the car I tripped over the fence.
This one took me nearly 3 hours to complete
5 mins to find and 2 hrs waiting for Racv to jump start the battery

Found this one quite easily with Sorcey Sal as it was visible from the path. Hidden in a really pretty spot nonetheless.
Found today whilst out and about with Dutch Frangipani to do some of the Gisborne caches.
A quick find and the log was signed and on our way.
Thanks for the cache Robmc and for honouring your friends birthday

Gathered the multi clues and then detoured to find this one first, noone around in this section of the park which made the geocaching a sinch.

Today I dropped my daughter off at the airport at 5.15am, I decided to make the most of it, and gather some finds on the Bendigo side of the airport. I found 33 for the day, between the hours of 5.30am and 5.20pm.
Last find of the day at 5.20pm. Nearly 12 hours of multis and traditionals, going up the wrong side of the hills, wrong side of the creek...and wooops, I forgot, I even hit a roo on my way down to the airport....damn thing, it damaged my geomobile...Why don't Roos sleep at night...idiots they are.
TFTC. TNLN. (5 beers to log 33 caches and 2 tbs tonight). Time for a shower to get rid of the cobwebs, dirt and soothe the scratches from all the bushes....Front page of the paper tomorrow..I'm on 1002 caches now.

This was our 1st cache find in the caching run & we found it at: 11:25.
This now makes our total find count 5625.

Christmas day always seems to be a balancing act. Married kids usually have to decide whose parents they will celebrate with each year. Some even have to juggle their timing so that they can visit both.
We have solved the problem for our kids. We have our Christmas celebrations a few days earlier, so they can visit the "outlaws" on the proper day. This of course means that we are free to go Geocaching - - -
So here we are, after a nice sleep-in, caching in Gisborne
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (<2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Hairclip and a trackable
Thanks Robmc for the hunt today.

Find # 2363
It was a bright and sunny morning and a plan was in place to head towards Gisborne and surrounds to find a few caches in the area which my caching partner SedgwickDave and I had both never cached in the area so there was lots of caches to choose from. Dave picked me up at 7.30 and off we went.
We were now starting to head back home as I had a basketball game to get to. However not before finding a couple more caches in Gisborne. This one was a quick easy find although a little tricky to access. Another one of the Birthday series crossed off the list. Will be back for the others soon.
Thanks to Robmc for the Cache. TNLN

Out and about once more with Ahomburg with today's intention to explore new territory which neither of us have been to before. The plan was to head to Gisborne and then let the caches lead us to where ever. We ended up heading further north all the way to Woodend doing a mixture of caches types along the way and the 3 type rule achieved one more. Will be back soon as keen to explore the Macedon ranges as well as complete the caches we ran out of time to attempt today.
This was the 16th cache found today. Now on the drive back to Melbourne dropped by this one and is another in the Birthday series now found. An interesting area and there would be some nice views on the near by hill slope to the north. TFTC Birthday Gnome

Told a fib to muggle husband and left an hour early yo go to work so I could find a cache.... However missed the clue inside as seen a dog and new muggles were close so had to leave quickly.... So will have to come back another time and get clue..... Unless someone can message to me!
# 2187. After completing the Domino Trail in Trentham came to Gisborne with the CO so he could check this series. Being a Sunday there was no sport being played at any of the venues nearby so we had a quick walk and apparently things have grown quite a bit recently so it made retrieving the cache rather difficult. Thanks to the Birthday Gnome.
Know this part of gisborne well, have hit many a tennis ball in my time here. Left a crazy bean.

While on a day trip to Gisborne I was able to go and find a couple of caches in the area.
We had time for one more before heading home and this one was the closest.
I was able to park not to far away from GZ, once I arrived at GZ the hide was spotted quickly, I signed the log and then it was time to head back home.
Thanks to Robmc for this cache.

En route to Bendigo for a few appointments, this cache was just too close to the road to ignore. On arrival everything felt familiar - yes we had been here before counting things connected with the game of croquet. One thing which hadn't changed, we still managed to get wet feet as we tripped through the grass toward GZ where the cache was quickly located.
A great way to celebrate F . . . . . . 's 50th birthday.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt Robmc.
