Quick find this afternoon as we followed the coast around sticking mainly to the it conditioned car! Ha ha. Thanks for the fun and adventure
A quick 5 day trip to Darwin included finding this cache. This is my first trip to the northern territory and is my final state / territory in Australia to visit. The weather was certainly different to Tasmania. It is great to explore another part of Australia. Thank you corunnaroad for hiding and maintaining this cache. Found on 6 October 2024 at 12:13PM. Thanks for the cache
Walking our way to the Darwin Military Museum we had to pass this one, so stopped and grabbed it. It is certainly exposed, it can be seen as you walk up. TFTC
Found cache on the ground and part of the log on the ground Restored to where we think it came from. May need a check Log definitely full. Left some stickers for next kiddo cache hunters Thanks for the cache in such a beautiful spot and lovely breeze
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. Unfortunately Emily and George have scrawled over 13 lines and so you are going to have to get s new log soon.
Found: 14.48One of us stayed near our bikes, looking at some logs, because the other one, had not yet been able to find the cache. Then a man passed and he asked whether we were geocachers. Yes! He did it once in a while, but he found it too hot for caching today. But fortunately, he changed his mind and helped searching for the cache. And he (AdamLang7) was the one who actually found it. He handed two TBs to us (that did not fit in the cache).
At GZ it was difficult to sign the log without muggles passing by. Otherwise a quick and park and grab. TFTC
Out and about for a drive around town and taking in the sights. First time to Darwin and the scenery didnt disappoint. Found easily, signed log and replaced as found. Tftc.MM

Last day in Darwin and I was up early chasing down a few labs about the place plus whatever trads took my fancy. Decided to start out at the East Point Reserve as it looked to have some interesting history and such.Had a go at this one on the way out. Checked a couple of spots before uncovering the cleverly hidden container. Didn't see any pubs at this locale though.corunnaroad I found your cache at 7:41am, this was the 9th of 23 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8436. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC

Day 62 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we finally escaped the southern weather that has been wet and windy. Not sure that we are acclimatised to the northern heat yet as we are feeling it by early afternoon, but out sightseeing and caching in the morning.
Was necessary to have a week back home in Nth Vic before arriving back in Darwin yesterday. Out and about earlier today as we need to get used to the temperature again. A quick find as cars passed by, oblivious to us.

Our last day in Darwin. We have the day free for caching, so are grabbing various challenges and puzzles mainly, with whatever else appears… This morning we concentrated in the outer CBD area while the rest of the team went fish feeding.
Thanks for hiding your cache.

After an amazing few weeks exploring the NT and parts of WA, it’s time to head home, but we have a few days in Darwin beforehand, and of course we have to cache around in that time! We’ve had a great time this trip finding some amazing caches, and Darwin was no different!
Quick find TNLN SL all in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache corunnaroad!

This was a quick nab as we do some driving around Darwin on a quiet day. Lot of muggles but with all the activity in the area, no one is in the slightest bit interested. TFTC
Thanks corunnaroad for the hide. Not sure if I’m original place but quick easy park and grab coming back from East Point - last cache of the morning run.
A nice little quick cache as we were out this way.
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find as we watched the jets perform for NT day.
Thanks corunnaroad
Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Nice hide.. doubt that has been moved in awhile. Singed and returned where found. TFTC
Today we were invited by two local cachers (thanks low1 and JOT205), we met at an event two days go. They showed us some lovely caches around Darwin. We spent a beautiful morning; was really amazing to get to know you.
This one was our first for the day, little inegüxle found the box on his second try,
Thanks for the cache and regards from Switzerland.

This is our last day in Darwin so we decided to focus on some caches in the city, Fannie Bay and Lee point.
This one was found but not in the first or second place we looked. TFTC

Made it to the NT and after dinner watching the sun set we just had to go find a few Geocaches. Didn’t realise it would be just so dark outside so quickly and ended up moving to adventure lab stages after finding only just a few. TFTH
Apologies but actually found it with Joan (my 80 year old mum who was visiting, Low1 and GayeNT back on 7/09/22. I've since not been able to go caching for awhile due to fracturing my back. But getting better, was able to go out yesterday for half day.
This was an easy find as it was on the ground in the open. After signing the log I returned it to where I thought it should have been hidden.
On our way to collect soled puzzle caches at East Point and had to stop at this one too. I went to school with grandchildren of Mayse Young, who owned this hotel, also called the Seabreeze, as well as multiple others in Katherine and Pine Creek, one was also my bridesmaid 30 years ago.
Out and about with kiwinic again today grabbing a few finds around Darwin a quick find here for us today TFTC
A Beautiful and peaceful spot. It would’ve been such a great place to have a pub. Pity there is not one here now. The sea looks Aqua.
Log signed. Thanks corunnaroad

Fannie Bay is so pretty, we would love a house here but we assume this is the rich end of town. We came out to look at the war museum and grab a cache or two on the way back. The museum was really interesting, we had quite the education about Darwin and the bombings, we had no idea it even happened more than once, school education needs to push Australian history much more!
Mrs Kookacrews uncle and auntie moved to Darwin with their girls not long after cyclone Tracey to help with the rebuilding, they loved it so much they stayed in the NT for years, a couple of the girls still live out in the sticks.
Thanks corunnaroad for the cache. TNLN

I looked in a few places and with a bit of muscle, found the cache. There must be two caches here as the one I found hasn’t been signed since January. I Signed and replaced just as the mowing men arrived. Tftc
Up from Melbourne on holiday and met low1 at an event on Mindil Beach. Today we went out and spent some time caching. Low1 has previously found this cache so left me to make the find. TFTC
On a mission to celebrate “someones special birthday today” so we’re on the hunting trail in the NT with SeasonedBird, Liz and Bruce. Another great day for caching. Happy Birthday Liz. . TFTC corunnaroad

Found what was supposed to be it... cache container might be missing. Hope it's alright to log
We seen the event when we arrived in Darwin and decided we would do our best to try and make it, well that we just did as it gave us a perfect opportunity to complete a day of….. that is completing at least one of each type of cache that is available in the NT at the time, being an event, a multi, a traditional, a mystery, a lab, an earth, a wherigo, a virtual, and a letterbox….. not an opportunity you get often so thanks to all the CO’s for helping us to achieve this whilst in the NT
