Along with Thee Mole we looked for sometime with no success along with the other DNF's think this is gone
Think it's gone as we looked for quite some time before I saw all the previous DNF logs. Owner check needed.
Thanks anyway Bitsprayer

NIce quick find. Took a couple of ticks for my fat fingers to extract the cache though.

I brought six TB's from North America whose goals included coming down under and wouldn't you know, the first chance we get to find a cache, it turns out to be a micro. Oh well, they stood up for a picture together as over the next few days they'll be splitting up. They are going to miss each other after living in the same geocache backpack for several months always waiting to go on their big adventure. TFTC - it's our first in New Zealand.
4883. On our way home to Christchurch from the Mega Event in Dunedin we decided to spend a couple of nights in Oamaru while geocaching in the area. After the first night this was our full day caching in the Weston area and in Oamaru itself. Got up early and did four caches before breakfast. Then after breakfast off we went. This was the thirty first cache find of the day. Had to wait while a wedding party had their photo taken right at GZ - didn't like to interrupt! Took a bit of searching but we got there in the end. Very nice! Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Another great day geocaching around Oamaru. Weather pretty good and lots of good finds.
Soon located this cache.

It took a while to spot it but got there with a spotter and a reacher
Found on the way home from the Mega.

Bumped into Darby and Joan here after signing the log. Hope no-one drops the cache. Great views from up here today. Did with Mycro Man on our NZ MEGA 2012 South Island Trip
This one was made a lot easier by catching a cacher signing the log. Nice view from up here. Then we joined forces to help him on a 2nd attempt at the end of the wharf. Nice spot, wish we had more time to linger here. SL. TFTC.
Pulled up here to admire the view and have a bite. Get out of the car to hear the front tyre slowly deflating on the camper. Dang.
Had our bite to eat, then tried to change the tyre. The jack they had given us was stuffed and kept slipping, so rang the hire company. Their advice was to ring a local garage who would send someone out and they would reimburse us. Another call to the iSite and they recommended North Otago Motors who promised someone would be out. With an unknown time to wait decided to target this 60 meters away. A quick find, a not so quick extraction and it was mine. Back to the car just as the mechanic turned up, his price for assistance with a real jack was a couple of beers for 10 minutes of his time. The beer economy is alive and well.
Headed south after for the night at a DOC campground as would like to have a look around this area when it is open tomorrow. Thanks Bitsprayer.

Day 9 of our campervan tour of New Zealand with Angel, Teachermom and Hynr. Today was a relaxing day. We found just a few caches around Oamaru and walked around the town a bit.
Thanks Bitsprayer for hiding this cache.

Found as part of Team Spinner during our Great New Zealand Mega and other Adventures. TFTC
Traveling as Team Spinner in our campervan to attend the Mega Event in Dunedin. At this point we are heading back north. Lil Devil spotted it.
Had us bambozelled. We looked high and low but maybe we were just too hungry. Had had a busy day and marvelled at Old Oamaru. Had been thru town before and never realised the hidden gems so close by. Stopped for dinner at a nearby restaurant we had walked by on the way here (after trying out the giant treadmill in the amazing steam punk playground). The young man at the table beside us got down on bended knee to propose. He was accepted and there was not a dry eye in the place...
I've been here before andf not found it but .... today there it was .... after another big search.
Found this cache as part of the Gangster's Aussie assault on the first NZ Mega with Big Matt, FarmerFrenzten and steeba.
We found this one quickly but it took a little while to retrieve. Then we spent more time playing the park nearby. The hampster wheel was fantastic.
Thanks

Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
This one could have taken ages but thankfully The Rats placed his hand on it straight away. It was s little hard to extract from its hidey hole but in the end it came free.
Thanks Bitsprayer for the cache.

Our 6289th overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. A quick find for us. The highlight was playing on the nearby park. I love the hamster wheel.
Thanks Bitsprayer for the cache. Stats for our trip can be found here http://www.campersdownunder.com.au/geocaching/NZTrip/stats2.html

Day three of the trek south to the NZ Mega.
After staying in Oamaru for night two, it was time to head to Dunedin. We'd had a cooked breakfast in an Oamaru bakery and grabbed a few caches in town before heading south. This was one of the caches we found. My thanks to Bitsprayer for the cache.

We found this neat cache while on our two weeks Blitz of the South Island for the Mega Event.
Many thanks for the hide.

Joggers are definitely fans of this area, running up and down and past and back and around and every which way like ants after you disturb a cache they're nesting in! Fortunately, they're so busy trying to breathe that they don't really notice a pair of geocachers subtly searching for a teensy container . TFTC, Bitsprayer. =^.^=
The GPS led us straight to it. Just had to time the retrieval and replacement as there were heaps of teens jogging back and forth. TFTC
Find #1344. On a lovely South Island holiday from Wellington, although the weather wasn’t quite so nice in this part of the country. A solo find in an effort to see some of the town with squally southerly showers blowing in off the sea. Had a spot of bother with this as the cache had squirreled itself into a tiny gap that was inaccessible to fingers, so had to use a pen to jiggle it around and eventually prise it out. Long tweezers would have been perfect. Again, a great spot of history here. SL TFTC
found it found it found it found it found it found it found it found it found it found it found it found it !!!!
Trust your instincts on this one. You may need the pen not just to sign the cache.
Good to get this sneaky little one done. Took a few goes. Glad to have some help from Marcello1's small hands! TFTC.
Found it some time ago but went back today on a dot day to sign off the log. Thought the little blitter had gone missing but no, just very well hidden. TFTC
I'm glad i had the right tools for the job. Nice jazz playing in the background also
On a caching trip with ingidayna to Oamaru and surrounds to get 1000 finds. A tricky wee hide. TFTC
last person had put it in to far so had to return to the van to get required tool, had the police drive past a couple of times at 9 pm all good didn't put back where I found it and removed some rust so it sticks a bit bettter. one of many to get 1000 caches TFTC found with wethreefourdices.
This was more challenging to find but we found it. found as part of group wghssouth. A nice view from the top.
Originally came here with the SKC group, and with no luck after some hunting in the bitterly cold wind we moved on. Later in the day I announced to Geomum that I had 139 caches, and after she claimed that to be an "annoying number," we set out to find this one! Two minutes later it was found and signed, and I have no clue how I missed it earlier! 140th cache, thank you!
Found with WGHS South Group. It took quite a bit of searching to find it!
Miss 10 spotted this one. Luckily we had the necessary tools with us, however I was worried about what could go wrong. All good, signed the log and returned the cache to where it belonged. Phew. TFTC
Definately not a quick grab and dash! Some suitable impliments were required to achieve success ... but we came well prepared. Gotcha !!
Good to see this refurbishment. Whenever we came to Oamaru we wondered what the fate of the bridge may be - good to see it open. Took a while to retrieve the cache, good hide. TFTC
A joint FTF with a very gracious ErnieNZ! Great views from up here, and it was lovely to be able to share fond memories of the old bridge...thanks heap Ernie...
I had been on this bridge when I was a boy with the added bonus of a steam train passing under me. (I remeber my Mother was not impressed!)
I thought when I saw this published it would be a good excuse to see the recently finished refurbishment.
Drove towards GZ and saw cars everywhere! trust me to pick a time and day when the Farmers Market was in full swing and as the day was so good a lot of people were in the Harbour Area.
Decided I would leave this and try when it was a bit quieter as I was about to leave I spotted some reinforcements arriving so armed with some good company, making me think this was now achieveable, the necessary walk was made - not too many up here and a joint FTF with Cachesaurus Rex - thanks for their help.
Thanks
