DNF there was some great hidey holes around but nothing in sight. Hasn't been found for quite sometime..
Decided to try my luck with this one today even though there have been a few DNF's logged and the last Found log was July last year! [:o] Unfortunately today was not my lucky day and even with a PAF call I came up empty handed.
I managed to find the hidey hole but it was either empty as previously reported or there is something obstructing and blocking it. A visit by the CO is more than likely required to rectify it!
Maybe next time....

Had a brush with a snake in the undergrowth which quickly put an end to my search for this one. Maybe another time.
After searching where my gps told me to, i came up empty handed. I then widened my search area and came across a "boring" spot. Got all excited and was prepared to add a smiley, but the bore was empty.

Parked car and wandered over to GZ - how many spiders webs can I honestly walk thru on this one?! Think the geokids were glad I was taller and slightly ahead of them as they escaped web-free. 1GiantPanda is starting to really get the hang of this, as his eyes fell on the prize quite quickly... Now we just have to continue working on his stealth! Damp log signed and returned and we were on our way. TFTC

I found this with my mum and little brother again. My little brother (1GiantPanda) was the first to spot it. TFTC
Another day on the road hunting caches.
I needed a cache starting with 'j' to complete
'Can you spell JUNE in June' this is that cache.
Thank you for the hide membsec

Nice hint . I have to admit I have never seen a hide like this one before. Cache is in good order. TFTC
Decided to go for a hunt after the rain had settled down. Being new to the area I was keen to see what was offer.
I was a bit worried this one might have gone downstream after the looking at the river. Pleased to report it still high and dry!!!!

Found this cache while we were doing some others nearby. Had to hide from a few lawn bowling muggles but we found the cache soon enough. The cache its self was quite interesting and unlike any we've seen before. TFTC
Out today looking for caches to drop some TBs into for a family TB race. I couldn't fit any TBs in this cache but it was a fun find.
Geoson home sick from school today. I guess you can tell how sick he is by the fact that we are caching (so far I had to take the day off work, take him to the doctor and then I spent $170 on Lego). I do love a day for one on one thou, and grateful that he isn't 'too' sick.
I really like this cache, favorite point from me.
I also didnt know the bowls club was here.
Thanks membsec

Managed to find this one no worries but the retrieval was problematic. It seems it had been replaced back to front. A fair bit of fiddling and the cache finally made an appearance. Replaced the right way around. Tftc
Quick find but a slow retrieval..... Just couldn't get the blighter to leave its snug hidey hole. Eventually prevailed, TFTC
With Sezzz and her muggle friend. Headed to this one after spending waaay to long to find what should have been a simple fond on the other side of the creek. Parked nearby and strolled down the path. Realised that we needed to be just off the path, so climbed through the railing. Got to Gz and Sezzz's muggle friend quickly located the cache. Removing it from its hiding spot was another issue. Even Sezzz, who had the smallest fingers, had trouble removing the cache. Eventually, the cache was coaxed from its hiding spot. Log signed and cache returned.
After finding the last one, and spending way too long there Selva Girls, my muggle friend and I headed to this one. We had parked and were wondering around near where GZ was when my muggle friend calls us over. Looks like he has good eyes, now getting the cache out is another story! The others volunteered my fingers to try and grab it out, it was difficult even with my fingers, I even got it all the way to the top before dropping it again, that was saddening! Finally we grabbed it out and signed it off. TFTC!
CET needed probably. Not actually glued in place. The road gets a bit busy before and after sessions at the nearby sporting facility. The clue is appropriate as is the name. Would have really come together if the container was the appropriate design, but it was a great one - not really boring, just one that might stick in your memory.
Had a few hours spare after work so I decided to start to clear out some caches between work and home ... there have been so many caches placed since I last attempted this exercise. The cache took a little while to find, but eventually had it in hand and it was in good condition. Thank you for having placed the cache membsec
!!!!!tftc!!!!!!! nice hide found in the dark it only took me two minutes to find.
Nice and easy if you come from the right angle; of course that took a while to do.

Cabbage tree creek is such an amazing place and look forward to them developing the park further down the creek...
Much easier to find at daytime. Now if we can just figure out "a dispicable cache"!

Tried to find at night to no avail. Came back in daylight .... There it is!!!! So bored.
My clever geodaughter found this one when I was almost ready to log a dnf. There has been a lot of thought and effort put into this cache - and as for the cache itself - a very clever use of a commonly used item in our house. Very impressive! TFTC!
Found nice and easily would have been easier to retrieve if it was placed the right way lol
Had visited this one once before with no luck, maybe because it was pitch black? I walked up and down where the GPS was sending me, back and forward following the constant GPS changes until I checked the clue and thought that maybe the coords were out when I saw something that looked like it fit the clue, over the road. I gave up searching with the GPS as I was constantly hearing something big moving in the bushland quite close by which freaked me out!
I spend a total of about an hour here the first time and this time I brought reinforcements!!
I showed Nyssa where I had been searching in the dark and she pointed out 1 little thing that I had missed..... The cache!! Argh!! The next problem was getting it out from its little hidey place!!
We tried to get it out with the normal means to start, no luck, we tried sticks, that still didn't work!
I grabbed the lanyard from my car keys and used a stick to push it down past the top of the cache, eventually we lassoed the cache and out it popped!
Logged signed, cache returned!! TFTC

Waiting for geograndson to play AFL on nearby field, younger geograndson & I went off caching. GPS took us straight to "likely GZ' but no luck. Tree canopy then effected the GPS so we wasted time in wrong areas. Ok! Back to the beginning, look at the hint & bingo there the little blighter was. Neat hide membsec & worthy of more that the 11/2 difficulty rating, I think. TFTC
What a clever little cache. Took a bit of finding, but with hint in mind and a new perspective, it came into view. TFTC.
Another Weekend raid in company of Gunnie69 today to increase our numbers
Hmmmm GPS didn't help
2 GPS about 33 metres variance in GZ
Muggle trimming hedge above us (but across the drive) requiring additional stealth didn't help
Eventually rereading previous logs & hint revealed a possible prompt
Ahh there you are - Gunnie soon had it out & log was signed
Well hidden
Nice Quick find

This one had Kaisho53 and I going for a while and we also had the difficulty of the resident muggle across the road, pruning his hedges and watching us when he got the opportunity... We had differing GZ on our GPS's, to the tune of 33m difference so we were not exactly sure where we needed to be... I called a previous finder and asked for a hint on the location which confirmed my suspicions... Ok, into the hunt... [^]
We moved in and scoured the area, NOTHING. Back again and we missed the container for a second time... This was getting frustrating now... Kaisho53 ducked off for an additional tool, but that was no use either... Only when we read the hint and put it into perspective, did I say, it could be this. With that, I located the nicely hidden container with some craft camo added for protection. Kudos to the last finder for hiding it well...
We were glad to secure it after all the time we spent at GZ.
Cheers membsec.

Today was Geodaughter 1's first day of Prep and Geodaughter 2's second day of Kindy. Finding myself left with only the Geobaby, it was a natural choice to organise a day of caching with Net88.
Net had found this cache previously, so she stayed in the car with the Geobaby while I ran over to grab this cache. At first I looked in the wrong spot (thanks to an incorrect hint from Net ), but once I started using the caching sense, the container was located quickly.
Thanks for the cache membsec .

In the area, keen for some fast numbers: this one kept me at bay for a little while but the hint was a goodie. I've seen these containers many times but never for caching! TFTC membsec.
Found this one today had tried before and not found it , but today straight to it don't know what I was doing before. tftc
This was like a half DNF. Turned up and OMG muggles. Walked over and OMG muggles. Crouched down to look and OMG muggles. Popped up to do back to the car, and you guess it... muggles!
I'm-a try middle of the day next time, not peak walkies time!

Fifth and last of the late afternoon run. Waited for muggle and dog to move on the quickly grabbed it.

Found my first ever cache with omaster & lenicka.second. Lots of fun! TFTC.
Found it together with omaster and his friend toenail. After a nice swim in a pool off we went and found a couple of caches in the suburb. I was extremelly tired after the whole trip to AUS and the only thing I wanted was to go to sleep but i couldnt so we decided to do some geocaching. This one took a while to find. Nice hide. TFTC
Arrived in Brisbane today and after doing some quick caches north we came home to relax. Went for a swim and decided a nice little walk in the local area would be in order to try and stay awake for as long as possible. So we came down and did a few caches. This was the first of the caches we did and it took a little time to find. We were also introducing toenail to geocaching so this was her first. Eventually lenicka.second (Despite being extremely tired) found the cache and it was logged. TFTC
Somewhere around this cache my iPhone was giving out, the netbook wouldn't speak to Telstra, and I found I'd left the printed cache sheets at home. So we were relying on karenhippo's phone and that was like working without a map. nevertheless we made progress and found caches.
You know that moment when you're on your way to a cache and you realise there is one even closer? that's what happened here. Again we could have wasted a lot of time until we turned to where WE would have hidden it. Although I missed the spot in my scan of the area, karenhippo zeroed in on it.
Very clever and well done, membsec. At last I saw what the Hint meant.

TFTC. A nice quiet caching day today no one around much. A great amount of water flowing down the creek today.
A ride around the 'burbs north of the river this morning brought me to the end of a brand new bit of bike path
The patchwork cycling network is slowly..... very slowly.... starting to link up
Down by the creek I found a beautiful little spot to stretch the legs and find a cache.
A short scout around and found nothing.
So I expanded my search area a bit and was soon rewarded with a well hidden cache [^]
Logbook signed and I packed the container back into its hiding place.
I wished I had packed my big red marker pen.
The container already has a fuse, it just needs 3 letters written on it in large red capitals to finish it off

I'm glad there was a hint on this one because the GPS was jumping about the GZ and there were plenty of places to look. That being said Alkzura and I didn't check the hint for a while so there was plenty of scrambling about in the dark for a while. Nice hide once we found it. TFTC

We were out this evening grabbing a few caches in the area. We parked in the nearby parking area and headed back to search for the cache. The GPS was sending us round in circles for some time before we decided to give up and look in the obvious feature. We looked in the wrong spot first before finding the correct location of the cache.
Thanks for the cache, membsec.

Came to find this one as we were collecting a couple of solved puzzles in the area.
Had a bit of a look around, the clue had us stumped for a while, but eventually saw something that was out of place.

Parked up the road and walked back to this one, as there were car washing muggles nearby. helped by the clue, which made no sense until I was at GZ, I found this quickly. TFTC membsec.

I was in the area with much time to spare, it would have been rude to not grab the caches nearby. There was a game on at the local sporting club, so parking was roadside, but a bit closer to the cache than the carpark. It was a quiet spot for sure and I was left in peace by any potential muggles to hunt and I quickly spotted somewhat of an anomaly. Sure enough, the cache was there. I added my name to the list and rehid as found. Something uniquely different, TFTC membsec
A quick find, perhaps I am 'boring' lol! Scottymyth may think her found this one but all I could see was his bum in the air facing the wrong direction!!! TFTC
I think Ainstar has not adjusted to the QLD heat and maybe a tad delusional. A find for scottymyth
I was surprised that on a Sunday afternoon there was no activity in the Bowls club. The car park was empty.
I wandered over to the search area and after 15 minutes of crawling along and searching I decided that a PAF call was needed.
I stood back to make the call and of course as I was talking to them I spotted the hiding spot without any hint.

At a friends wedding today with IolantheK and after it had finished I decided to check for local caches.
After the "Community Church", "Go-Between", "Gold Prospecting" and "Guide Dogs" we continued our local membsec cache trail.
This one was the next of the locals and again proved to be an easy find (liked this hide).
The cache is dry and in good condition.
