Out and about for a drive in the country on this beautifully clear winter's day. The intention was to enjoy the countryside while enjoying some cache hunting. I parked up next to GZ, but not actually in the sponsor's car park. After a quick read of the previous logs it ended up being a quick find. But, as others have pointed out, log is complete mush and entirely useless, in terms of signing in. Needs some CO TLC I would, politely, suggest. Cheers for the cache placement!

Well this weekend was going to be a biggie.
Along with 3 work jobs we decided to see if we could knock off all the caches in Atiu Park.
First there was the any event in Papakura along with a bit of a bribe a puzzle which we had no idea as to solve.
All park caches were found by following Co Ords and hints given. Some caches were very wet and need maintenance done to them.
The park involved a lot of walking to tick off.
Quick find but log sheet unable to be signed.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On a winding drive out to Aitu Creek Regional Park.
The coordinates for this one were spot on for us, though we didn't fancy sticking our hands under there. Light rain seemed to add to the difficulty. In the end, we lifted away the that which hides the cache and made an easy retrieval. The log is in poor condition and could not be signed. We were reluctant to put in a new log as there was no guarantee that a replacement would stay dry. Instead, we took a photo of the existing log and returned things back as they were. TFTC.

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. I "looked" in all the right places, but only found grimy hands come back out from the hiding places. I read the logs and noticed a nice hint, so I returned and got even more dirt under my fingernails, but this time I also got one cache. If you work with the glob of pulp inside, you might turn it into a beautiful Papier-mâché figurine. TFTC.
Had three horrible blue frowny faces that I needed to smilie so I was here first thing this morning to rectify that.....and this time I went straight to it. Don't know how I missed it last time but now it is found. TFTC and for continuing my daily streak (Day #312)
Two chances - second time lucky! Previous logs helped. Log book pretty wet though.
Was a bit sceptical myself, but seeing the recent find I decided to have a look. Yup its right there exactly as described, and thanks to the previous log there are only a couple of wheel stops to choose from. Still had to reach right in underneath until I felt the cache, but glad to get a smile here. TFTC
Thought this was gonna be a quick PnG but after that not being so, I then read the logs. It's gone. CO, you need to check, replace or archive I think.
Searched really well, even with a previous finder. A number of the wheel stops have been re-painted, so not sure if still there anymore?
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

Heading south after a failed attempt at doing the Atiu power trail, I got rained off there today so a few quick park n' grabs suit me just fine as I head home. Cache easily spotted, only a few cars in the carpark today due to the unpleasant weather I guess.
Out today with a muggle friend to tramp up Mt Auckland. On my way back to the city I collected this one. TFTC

A very easy find as it was lying out in the open, I tucked it away so it wasn't so obvious. TFTC
After lunch at Dairy Flat decided to head over to Kumeu for Strawberry Ice-creams whilst picking up a few caches on the way. Yet another quick park & grab. TFTC
Hi. This was a nice quick find in the dark.
Find #1070. Thank you very much for the cache. 27/11/2014 21:10

Was driving home and decided to grab some caches inbetween showers. This was a bit of a diversion from my home route but never mind, came away with a successful smiley. A few muggles leaving GZ but quick tie of the showlace was grabbed and signed.
Thanks for the cache

Super quick find while caching in the area. Thankfully no patrons were in sight even though some were about despite the weather. Thanks!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Had been here previously to pick up a trade me item, but did not know there was a cache. No such problems today.

Away to Kai Iwi for the weekend, and what better way to break up the journey than to find some geocaches. Sat down at GZ and reached down Thanks for the hide.
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
There were still a few cars in the carpark when we arrived quite late on this Sunday evening. There was no-one near GZ, so just another Kwick Stop at the 19th. Thanks.
Spotted as I got out of the car-all golfers were out on the course so a qwik grab n go-tftc
Lovely country and views along this highway. Only my second time along this route, with quite a few more caches to find than on my previous visit An enjoyable, and fun trip finding as many as I could.
Many thanks for the hide [^]

A super quick find by Miss Geckoh, spotted on approach - it appears there are a number of players already at the 19th hole. TFTC

Seeing that I was driving (no pun intended, yeah right) I couldn't stop for long at the 19th. Only long enough to sign the score card.[^]
Cheers for the cache.
In the midst of making a complete hash of finding a newly published cache I decided to take a break and headed over here to find this one. Spotted from the car so made a quick find, sign and rehide while trying not to get stuck to the road - so hot today the tar was melting. TFTC!!!
10222… Last cache of the day, had to wait 10 minutes for a Tractor Driver and two golfing muggles to move on before commencing the hunt. Quick find, TFTC.
A few golfer muggles around, so pretended to grab something from a bag from the car as we had parked right next to GZ, as I spied the cache when pulling up. Diversion succesfull as managed to sign the cache without anyone paying attention to me.
A nice quick easy drive-by cache as per sp8sm8's log below. I immediately recognised this container as I use these myself. TFTC.
Oh no, I see you've maintained it, and I have gone and broken it again. Spotted it straight away but in trying to retreive the camo broke off. Decided we couldn't put it back in its spot as it would be too obvious, so it is hidden under the concrete wheel barrier closest to the original spot.

This cache in need of some TLC. Log book wet and lid and camo broken off. Replaced best we could but would do with a look at.
Out completing some driving practise with the 16 year old of the team and these roads are great for some driving hours. Knew exactly where it would be and we were right. Lid has broken off the cache and we found it lying on the ground. Log book extremely wet and needs some maintenance.
We were in Orewa this evening so decided to take the long way back to the North Shore via this cache. Quick find once at GZ. No muggles around tonight in the dark. TFTC and another night find for our statistics.
Pushed hubby out the truck door at Sinclair park for Rugby and shot of up the road. Parked up and headed for cache. Had just retreived cache a someone came out of the clubroom. Turned my back and pretended to look up road, while signing log. Was back at sinclair park before hubby had his boots on & was out of changing rooms. TFTC
Working in the area and I knew this one had just come up so had to try for a FTF. But no beaten by one day. Never mind it's a clever hide none the less. So congrats to wasa & chec
