Fangsoki and I were continuing our Australia Day trek around a bit of our fantastic country, heading between Leyburn and Toowoomba.
A stop in here for this one for me, with Fangsoki having done it within the past week also. At GZ I didn’t see the obvious, looking all around it. Fangsoki obviously thought I was a twit, because he came over, gives it a quick glimpse and says it’s there. Well duuuuhhh of course it was!
Log signed and off we headed.
Thanks for the cache griz066.

I was on my way to Goondiwindi - when I noticed this saved cache on my smartphone. I decided to take a look.
I pulled up at GZ and headed to where my smartphone was indicating. I soon spotted a prize. It took me a bit of a duh moment how to get to the log. I signed the log and re-hid everything as found. A nifty little hide.
I am sorry, griz066, that there are those that spoiled geocaching for you. I enjoyed this little cache. TFTC

The cache owner has decided Geocaching is not what it used to be. It used to be fun now there are too many tree huggers running around the country side pretending to be cache police, and vandalising caches. I don't want any part of it any more.
Found on our Covid-delayed winter northern escape trip.
Many good safe hides and not many muggles around today.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache griz066,

On our drive today from Moree to Toowoomba, we took a short break and detour here to find this Geocache.
A quick find,Just as well since it was freezing cold outside. A great chance to stretch our legs and have a look at the local Showground.
Thanks for the diversion and for the Geocache

On a road trip to melbourne for Christmas. Stayed over night in town after leaving work in the arvo.
Nice little town.
Nice little town.
Homeward bound from QOGM2019 and collecting caches along the way. Stopping for the caches makes the drive go along much quicker. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches and making the trip much safer.
Found quickly. Carefully got the log out and signed. Placed where found. TFTC. Giving a FP
Mr Beetle did a rare thing and jumped out to get this one. Don't think he trusts me not to stuff it up when there are very specific instructions for removing the cache!!!
Someone has left a nice new replacement log sheet so we signed that.
Thanks.

Found quickly on a very quick geocaching few days. Love the hide, signed the new log. TFTC
We had time for a little caching as we travelled from Bathurst to Hervey Bay and back to see the whales. We thoroughly enjoyed both and are grateful for the caches which helped make the trip more enjoyable.
We are on an eight day trip to Hervey Bay. We saw the most amazing wild creatures close up at Hervey Bay. Whales are ugly but still so wonderful. We also saw some beautiful countryside, although everywhere is in dire need of rain. Thanks for your cache which helped us take a break from driving and have fun at the same time.
A clever little cache. Found needing a new log book but otherwise in good condition on a northward trip with Genghicat. Tftc
Found by Mary and David at 1140. After lunch and coffee to go from the excellent Milmerran Bakery, we are off caching again. In Toowoomba tonight, and we have just learned about the Gore brothers from your notes, and we are on the highway named for them. The container brought back nursing memories for Mary. Our thanks to griz066.
We are staying at the showgrounds, and saw this cache close by, so couldn't resist the opportunity of a smilie face
I really liked this one, so I've given it a favorite.

After our Christmas visit to Canberra, we are now heading back to Brisbane. And guess what was on the radar: your cache, griz066.
Needed a break in this long leg of the journey.
Log signed and cache replaced at 4:38 PM on December 30, 2018. TFTC.

Easy peasy once the gps stopped jumping around!

Yay ! Found it with potatochips101 (3K).
Was a sneaky hide ... phone had me wandering a bit ... took a step back and it materialised right before my eyes.
On our way to NSW for s family Christmas. We came through this way a couple of years ago (when we were muggles) and had no idea about the amazing things you can learn about a place. I love our Caching hunts !

Tuesday. This is the last day of our return journey after staying at Carnarvon Gorge for the International Earthcache Day. Reading the hint for this one, we made a very quick find and did as per instructions Lovely hide here. Cache log signed and all replaced perfectly. Sneaky hide . I think the log might be getting full on this one.
This was the 20th of 25 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***griz066***, for showing us this place.

Sneaky little hide when you're not expecting it. Super spacious camping at the showground and a nice little town to spend some quiet time. TFTC griz066.
Parked up and walked over to GZ before finding a brilliant cache. Loved the hide, deserves a favourite point. Log full so needs a new one. TFTC griz066
TFTC. We camped at the free camp just outside of town. After setting up took a quick drive to the Showgrounds. A short walk and cache in hand. SL
Quick find, interesting way of hiding cache! Loving the drive around this area-fields of cotton, interesting murals and will have to look up the story on the controversy over the inland rail over the flood plains
Mr Geo had his caching eyes on & soon spotted the hide. Log signed then off to Dalby. A Fav point for the hide. Kutgw
Excellent hide. Found while enjoying a day out with our geo friends, baby&Mrs gopher. TFTC.
6952. Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with kandg at 1120. We arrived in Clifton yesterday and made plans for a drive today around the area. Another well constructed hide. Tnx griz066
Out for a drive to Inglewood from Toowoomba, broke up the drive with a few caches. Good hide, TFTC!
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 10:35am. We are staying in the caravan park in our caravan so thought we would pick up a couple of caches. This cache was found quickly. TFTC
Staying at the camping ground for a couple of nights.

T-Tech was down at Inglewood for work for a few days, so I decided to take a road trip from Brisbane last night to surprise him Guess I am pretty crazy! After breakfast at the bakery this morning, I left him with his colleague and headed north to Toowoomba. Millmerran was my first stop and I made all three caches here into smileys
As I parked next to GZ I was a little worried that the people in the two caravans on the inside of the fence might be watching what I was doing, but I couldn't see them so I went in for the search. Just as I laid hand to this rather clever hide along comes a lady, and I got all prepared for my geocaching spiel, and she thanks me for making the find! Pretty surprising to meet a fellow geocacher all the way out here. I signed the logbook and passed it over the fence for Smittengranny to sign, then she noticed my trektag and pathtag on the chain around my neck, so she went back to grab a couple of her pathtags and we did a trade and had a good chat. I won't forget this one in a hurry! TFTC, griz066.

Up early this morning as were are moving on to Texas, and I want to cache but Pa wants to be off the road by midday to avoid the worst of the heat.
Pa was busy gawking around instead of listening to directions, so we ended up inside the Showgrounds. All good as he filled up the water while I traipsed back to the GZ. This also was fortunate as a little yellow car pulled up and the occupant was busy hunting out the cache as I walked up. It turned out to be IolantheK and after she had finished adding her name to the log, she passed it through the fence for me to sign. Formalities completed we enjoyed a good chat, exchanged PTs and I noted her Tb before continuing on. Another great cache thanks Griz600.

Found it but it took a bit of time and deception to deceive the resident muggles to retrieve and sign the log.
Staying at the free camp in town and thought we would ride out to do this cache. Great little hide tftc
I parked the geomobile outside the fence,
and wandered over to GZ.
Dunno what the caravanners on the other side of the fence were thinking,
but they seemed to be ignoring me as I wandered around looking for the cache
Aha !!
A well hidden cache
Tweezy !! [^]

Today we explored Millmerran and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Like the other recent finders we're here for the Camp Oven festival so expect this will get a few more hits over the next few days. Incredible number of people in Showgrounds already. Well done Millmerran but weather forecast not good. TFTC. Clever hint. Cache in good condition.
We are visiting for the Festival and picked up this one while the area is muggle free TFTC
Quick find whilst staying at the showgrounds for the Camp Oven Festival. took coin left badge. TFTC
Arrived today in Millmerran to set up camp for the Camp Oven Cook Off. Mr D distracted the man at the gate while I headed off towards GZ. My GPSr was playing silly b's, so I had three GZ to choose from. Eventually Mr D joined me and made the find.
Thanks for another hide griz066

In town for the Camp Oven Festival. Time for a cache or two or three before the event. Liked your cache. A favourite coming your way. TFTC.
Today, I began a long trip south, with a couple of goals in mind. To help pass the time, and to make me get out of the car every so often, I decided to pick up a few caches along the way. I parked nearby and made my way to GZ, where I quickly located the cache. I added my name to the log before returning the cache to its hiding spot, then heading back to the car.
