After having a baby I have finally got down to find the the council has disturbed the caches so I have now replaced it in a spot close by, however I am not confident of how long this one will last so will work on something in the mean time.
I came up to Ringwood on some business and had a little time to kill and this cache looked ideal. I searched for a good 20 minutes and came up empty handed. Nothing looked even remotely promising. I hope its still there. TFTH anyway.
Had a reasonable look around for this one but was getting rather scratched up and the oval was in use so abandoned the search for another time, nice park though even if GZ is steep.
Found this one today on the way to pick up geojunior from school. Found some swaps but no logbook. TFTC.
I found this cache at 5:00pm as the 3rd of a quickfire Half Dozen on the Way Home. Last time past this park it was offline so it was nice to complete it today. Thanks from D B-A.
Found this one today. I didn't take the high road until later and with silly shoes on - made it harder for myself than it needed to be. I came near dusk and it must be time for the bug spray to come out again as I got eaten alive here but no muggles around. Great cache - love the camouflage. Took nothing, left nothing and signed log today .
Thanks for a great cache Cutabix.
Thanks for a great cache Cutabix.
The rain started as we left the car, but that didn't put us off! The high road is easier than the low road... TNLN, TFTC.
easy find this morning, even in the drizzle it was nice to be out with a friend! TFTC
We actually stopped at the back of the shopping centre carpark about 90 metres away, but there is a convenient laneway that goes through to the sports ground. A short search revealed what the hint promised and the cache was in hand at 1610. TNLN TFTC

A nice short stroll to the cache along the fence, as I popped my head over the top of the bank I discovered an oval full of junior Muggles playing cricket on a Friday. No trouble finding the cache.
Having just finished a first aid course and have a little time to kill before baby sitting I took a look at this one. Parked in the street nearby and with a short walk I came to a playground. A couple were there which I thought I may have had to move on but excellent choice Cutabix by putting it a little further afield. Love the hide, nice and safe and clean.
Thanks for the cache Cutabix appreciate your placement.

Found this one rather quickly surprisingly it's very slippery on one side but where the cache is its less slippery less blackberries on this side too lucky for me tftc love these caches they tend to stay dry no swaps made
found @ 23:59 with mum and dad (ross47)
Took a bit of searching as Dad had partially checked where it ended up being, but had somehow missed it.
Meaning we kept searching elsewhere, until the caches hiding spot was checked again, thoroughly this time, and found.
Great cache.

This was the last of this morning's trio while on the way to work. Thankfully it was a nice easy find of a clever hide at 09:15 .
TNLNSL. Thanks Cutabix.

Found @ 23:59 in the company of the geowife and Emeraldflame after a few minutes of searching, eventually finding it in an area I had already looked at - but obviously not closely enough. I will reiterate what has been written previously - the embankment is *very* slippery and the blackberries at GZ do bite - I found out both the hard way!
Thanks to Cutabix for the cache. TNLN

Seems there was a tiny muggles and mums convention at the local pre school. Cache was found and returned with no one checking what I was doing nearby.
Very nice hide - we found it with little effort once we managed to distract the kids from the playground! TFTC!
Another week, another TDC run. Not so much about the numbers here, but about cleaning out some inner city caches and a few more than that in the outer areas. CCT0 was looked at, and we did everything but the final on that. A number of new caches came out in the evening, but as TR said in his logs, not all of us got a FTF. Still another great night with plenty of adventure and the awesome company of the TDC crew (myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning).
A late evening find, and a bit of a scramble to it, but no problem. TFTC.

TDC (The Demolition Crew which includes myself, Blacklegend and Trailrunning) headed out for another of our regular get together night caching runs. Once again luck was with us and the weather held off with only a light sprinkle of rain towards the end of the night.
We started just north of the city to collect a couple of new caches as well as one we had attempted previously but found out later was MIA, but was now back up and running. From the city we headed east for a route which took us on through Ringwood and Lilydale and then along winding roads up through the Yarra Glen region. Overall we had a great night with us visiting new areas for the first time and with all finds made.
We were glad to see this one back up and running again. We made our way to GZ and we all had a good idea what to look for. A bit of scrambling about the slope until the hide was finally found.
Thanks for the cache.

After a few big weeks of TDC action, the crew decided to concentrate on cleaning out some caches in the inner city and in the northeast of Melbourne. On the agenda was the 20+ waypoints of CCT-0 – Capital City Trail, while the final was not gathered as it mean backtracking across Melbourne, the crew (Quasar 3671, Blacklegend & TrailRunning) had a fun time collecting all the clues. In the late evening a number of publications came out, and due to a bit of a mix up only one TDC member got to put their name in the log in first place.
This cache was found quickly in the late evening as we moved northeast. Last time I was here the cache had been muggled so it was nice to get this one. TFTC

Had another try at this one today , the coordenace were spot on dont know what happened last time I was here as I was at lest three trees out. Thanks cutabix for hide
Found this one tonight, but had trouble with the mud. The embankment is *very* slippery. I slipped down it, and was caught by a friend, who hurt her leg in the process. After 3 hours at the local A&E, she'll be on crutches and physiotherapy for a couple of weeks Go carefully in the area...
Found at 1545. nice little park and quick easy find once the phone settled! Have seen this type of hide a few times now! Watch out for the blackberry plant growing at GZ - it likes to bite OUCH

Another legendary night caching run with The Demolition Crew - TDC. Tonight an exceptional run, with around 65 caches found over a nice 12 hour caching run, starting at about 5pm, and finishing at about 5am. The run took us from Bayswater to Ringwood, then west to Williamstown to pick up a bundle that way, then east again to collect some more which were on our extensive list....
A couple of earth caches, a stack of mysterys and multis, and two challenges - The Unloved Challenge and the Night Caching Masters Challenge. We all also knocked off a couple of Project 81 finds, leaving us only a handfull to go. A great night as usual, with great company with two of my best mates. Some funny chats and some great walks as well.
No good on this one tonight. A DNF. I know not everyone logs DNF's but if you don't log em, the CO's don't know whats going on.

On another cold and occasionally wet night/morning the TDC (Quasar3671, Blacklegend & TrailRunning) made its way through northern, eastern, western and southern suburbs of Melbourne picking up recently published caches needed by all. With the shortest route planned we were able to pick up over 50 caches each in the time available, including two Challenge caches in inner Melbourne. We had planned to collect the Challenge caches as a group of caches as well as undertake some water caches. But given the weather, it was decided to defer the water caches for a more favourable forecast. It was a great night with lots of laughs and discussions about puzzle caches just published. Was a quick multi. Very hard replacing, but a nice device. A DNF for us, cache has gone.
When we found this cache only one fish trackable was present. We replaced cache as found.
Arrived to find contents scattered and a hole had been dug for the pipe. Put back together took trackable only 1 remaining even though inventory had 3. So spent a bit of time searching for other potential cache contents. Not fun next to a playground and kindergarten. Recommend it need maintenance even though the hole being dug suggests it shouldn't be their. Tftn
Quick find on the way home from work, during a short break in the rain.

15/06/2012 01:34 This one was a quick collect on a must cache day as I was unable to go out later in the evening., This was still way too late but hey, its caching!!! and I had spent a lot of time hunting for a pair of GCA caches. This is an interesting hide that is still hidden from the general passers by but obvious once you get into GZ. A nice larger cache. TFTC Cutabix TNLN SL
My grandson plays football on this oval but only me here today. Made some swaps. Thanks Cutabix.
Dodged they guys doing maintenance from the score box to get this one. Should have got out of bed for the FTF on one so close to home, but........ Better late than never!!!
Found with the kids who wanted to play on the playground. Could've probably been First on this one when it was published, as I don't live too far away. Anyway, nice spot and an easy find. Took balloons and angel thingy, dropped in skittle and ornamental dog. Thanks for the cache.
Well prepared and attractive container, and a convenient distance from work, made this the cache of the day for me.
I was not anticipating going out tonight, but was at the PC when this came through and being so close I decided to join the fun and see who else would out late in the FTF chase. I arrived and was mildly surprised to see no cars around as others live closer than we do to GZ. The cache was soon found and logged and I was just returning the cache when I saw a car drive in. AliJ arrived and Covert arrived sometime later. We all had a chat and then decided to call it a night. Thanks Cutabix

2TF. As GMJMelb had said, I also was not planning on going out but the email went off and being fairly close to home the temptation was just too much to resist. Yet another chance to catch up with some cachers which resulted in rather a late night but always good fun. TFTC Cutabix!
