We have found this twice but since the string of DNF we have gone to check on it and it is not there. It was "found" last week but I think they may have gotten mixed up with the virtual in the same area.
Looked in vain for this one, inspected all available hiding spots and could not see the cache, is it still here?
Lovely memorial, have been here heaps before. Unfortunately we couldn't find this one.
Nope, was not where is was supposed to be this morning after we did the 10.30 tour, went back this evening to watch the sunset, still not there. This one has alluded us.
Could not find it. Over the edge and all. Found a spot it could have been but no luck. Maybe next time.
No luck today but will be back, only my first day as a geocacher and was my first search so was a little unsure what I was really looking for or to what extent people go.
OK, So I am in Geraldton for the weekend on my ship and wondering how I am going to get out and about to do some caching. Simple answer? Work! They gave me access to a car for the day along with a couple of mates and away we went. They were muggles at the start of the day....
I was up here on Friday to do a wreath laying ceremony and had a little look for the cache without joy. Today I came back and looked with my mates. After about 5 minutes I went over and there was the cache. Not sure about the log from dentoz saying you don't have to leave the path though...
Thanks for the cache malandrea
Cheers

Got it eventually after realizing that you do have to go off the paths and into the gardens.
A lovely peaceful memorial up here. We had to outwait some muggles who were also exploring the many facets of this memorial. Cache was soon located after a quick jump over the side.
Thanks malandrea for the cache!

My first geocache find! Woohoo! Took a while for me and a friend to find it, had no idea how difficult it would be. Was a clever hiding spot.
Fun find with friends and family. ... took a few minutes but enjoyed the find. ... beautiful view on a still Geraldton night ... moving memorial ♥
In the dark of the night we scaled the unlit rocky path. The wind was roaring, the nearby drunks were howling. After hours of searching with only weak light we reached into a musty crevasse to find the small tin. Mission success. Team Choner.
Doing a morning of caching before heading to the event and made a time limit on how much time I would spend at each cache so ended up not finding some.
Another quick find once the muggle family started back to their car and I could get to GZ.
Thanks malandrea for the cache.

This was our 9th cache find in a caching run of 13 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 13:17 so this now makes our total find count 7198.
[blue]
Found quickly once the lingering muggles moved away from the parapet.
We discovered that it was far less obvious to approach GZ along the bitumen path that starts to the left of the car park.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks malandrea for the hunt today.

Where I thought it would be there was no sign of it... so will come back and try again later
I was in Geraldton for a meeting so decided to head out early and pick up a few caches whilst in town. It's hard to believe it been almost four years since I was last at this location doing the virtual 'The rest is silence'. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to revisit the site. TFTC.
Arrived as the guided tour started. Dodged and maneuvered and cache was found and signed. TFTC malandrea.
Found, on our first day caching around Geraldton.
A quick find for a place where we thought we shouldn't have been.
Thanks for the cache, malandrea.

Sneaky hide!
Was really impressed with the new 'Rememberance Pool' but I was absolutely gob smacked to read on a nearby plaque that the 'Waiting Woman Statue' was looking out to the correct co-ordinates for the wreck of the Sydney even though she was in place long before the final resting place was discovered. Had goose bumps down my arms! TFTC!

Was in town for the caching event and out to find as manay caches for the day. After doing the one nearby we had a go at this one. Plenty of muggles around we had to be discrete. It took us a while till Allied Oz saw a sign of where it could be. TFTH
Found this cache on a weekend trip to Geraldton with Mum and Dad (jinta29). TFTC
Mum and Dad made me grab this one. Nice and easy, there were no muggles about!

This one took longer than it should have.. but we kept searching between the hordes of muggles. Resorting to the hint and a leap of faith had this sneaky hide in hand.

Our second visit to this spot today (the first was to grab the virtual cache). We had a couple of helpful hints from some local geocachers which made this a very quick find. TFTC malandrea
After a meal in town we decided to scout this cache out as it was too busy during the day. When we arrived there was an empty car park so a quick look at GZ and thew cache was soon spotted. Just as we were leaving 4 cars arrived. So it was good timing, SL TFTC malandrea
In Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day 2013 with teams AlliedOz and The Fitzy's, After attending the Event we are off racing around town for some caches. This one had us going for a while think we made it harder than it was for ourself's but with AlliedOz's leap faith we had the cache in hand TFTC!!!

TFTC. This cache was found on a caching trip with Cravo10 to Geraldton for the international geocaching day event being held up there.
A nice easy find with no muggles about. Got it just after watching the sunrise - a gorgeous place full of history.
Well this is embarrassing. After reading the numerous found logs, while muggles invaded, I still had no luck finding this one. Great place to see, remember and photograph. Thanks for the hunt.

Had to come look up here. great spot for a cache. no muggles here for me today. yay. tftc
A nice, quick find after a bit of a wait for muggles to leave. The memorial is very significant and fitting for the 1941 event it commemorates.
Thanks for allowing us to log a cache as well malandrea [^]

We spent a full day of caching in the Geraldton region. The caches here are of a very high standard, all have been in an ineresting or scenic location. We have found the small caches here would be micros at home, also the 1.5-1.5 are so much harder to find, so its been a very trying day.
Well done Geraldton.
Thanks Malandrea

Beautiful spot for a geocache. Met the braidwoods at the spot. Always nice to see others out hunting
My second find at the memorial and the fourth and final of the day. A great day of geocaching in WA! This one hadn't been logged for a while, but it is still there!
