We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Planning on exploring the suburbs of Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Scheyville, Agnes Banks, Yarramundi, Hawkesbury Heights, and Castlereagh. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some more Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some more "units of fuel" for the "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge with a view to scoring the 100 point Ultra fuel souvenir. Our final day will have us going via Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside, for some more caching and a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, before taking the M7 & M2 Motorways back to home. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 2) our first mission for the day was to log our 7000th Milestone find with a Mystery/MultiCache at historic Scheyville, followed by a nearby previously solved Mystery/Puzzle, which sadly ended with a DNF. Then it was a drive over to Agnes Banks for a MultiCache, followed by a drive up Springwood Road to Hawkesbury Heights, collecting numerous Traditional caches and Adventure Lab stages along the way. Ended our day with a drive down Castlereagh Road for a Traditional cache and an Adventure Lab stage. This was the 6th of 20 finds for the day (day 2), and 22nd find of the holiday. This one was next, as we drove up Springwood Road towards Hawkesbury Heights, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Stopped briefly along the entry road, as we were leaving, to take a photo of the lake. TFTC WaywardWoman, and happy International Geocaching Day to everyone Find #7005
A dark lakeside find after nightfall. Grabbing a few traditional caches along the Springwood Road home bound. And the virtual adventures of the local Adventure Labs. Thanks WaywardWoman
Now this one I had no problem with. Container and log both in good shape and its in the right position TFTC.
Caching with oldmorty on our way back to Sydney.Found the fork. Found the cache. Thanks to WaywardWoman
After a weekend at Blackheath, frazeydaze and I decided to return home via Hawkesbury and Springwood Roads to grab a few caches, rather than our usual trip home via the GWH.Frazeydaze found the right trees while I checked out the lake. TFTC WaywardWoman the

A day touring the lower Blue Mountains, picking up caches along the way.
A loverly spot, with beautiful autumn coloured leaves on the trees. The cache was found without any problem.

Thanks for maintaining the cache

It was a little tricky to find this one as there were so many objects matching the hint around, but once I found the right one there was the cache. TFTC!
Thanks for the Geoeache! Water is getting into the container it will need replacing!
Came to Windsor today to do the Lab adventure and then move on to Glenbrook to do another one. Really enjoy the labs lately, but of course can't resist if there is anything else that turns up along the way. Mostly quick found traditionals today. Very wet and long grass to get to the cache, but good views

My muggle friend was now navigating to the caches but thought we could get closer to this one round the corner. no that's not the case, drove around for a bit looking at the houses before coming back to park near gz, something I do a fair bit either when caching by myself or with a friend. Then had a discussion re the gate, still assuming I knew what I was doing she blindly followed me only to find ourselves on the wrong side of the fence. ah well these things happen, back track a bit and then I spotted it as we walked up to gz, she still hadn't got the jist of some hides and was searching close by but not seeing the telltale lid. i'm not the most patient cacher so ended up picking it up instead of waiting for her to do so. did some legal loitering while someone was parked nearby, discussed the birds, trees, even the local grasses while he no doubt wasn't interested in what we were doing anyway. either way we gave the dog across the road something to bark at as well. eventually the car drove away and we replaced the cache, covered it with camo and went on our merry way to the next cache. thanks WaywardWoman
What a peaceful lake, holds a fair bit of water too.
Sneaked a peak at the hint upon walking to GZ and making a quick find, great hide WaywardWoman

The boss was coming to Penrith today to visit a friend who had had minor surgery yesterday, so I decided to come with her and then go off and do a caching run from Yarramundi to Springwood. It's been years (indeed decades) since I've driven along Springwood/Hawkesbury Road so it was great to do it again and to see how much has changed over the years ... and to pick up 18 finds (mostly of the park & grab variety ... no bush walks for me on a 40 degree day!) along the way.
A pretty quick find here ... but then I sat in the car for a few minutes afterwards and just enjoyed the serenity and the view of the lake/dam/pond ... so thanks for the placing this cache here WaywardWoman.

We are based in Richmond for a few days and what a wonderful choice of caches. Today we headed towards Springwood and surrounds and this was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to WaywardWoman for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Often drive past this pond and thought it time to stop and see what was up this road. A small housing estate and a quick cache!.
Thanks for the cache
