One of over 100 caches found on a big day's caching on the Mornington Peninsula with some great friends.
There were many styles of hides and some of the containers were very cool indeed.
Thanks to all the CO's or placing them for others to find.
The caches found with Jabs and Budgietas were signed as JCB.

Find 4578 loged from GSAK

We had a great run of cache finds with over 100 found on the first day.

What a wounderful spot. Cache still in place under pine tree at base. The area has had a make over and the cache was rehidden when the workers found it. We spend a long time here chatting to boys and learning a lot about the area and what they were doing. Please I suggest this cache is unarchived and just update the co-ords to reflect.
First or all sorry for the long log. Code 1, Budgietas and myself decided to do a caching trip / run and the Mornington area looked like a great place to start. So planes were hatched and we got together. This was the first cache of over a hundred we did in the 12 hour period of caching we had.
A well rounded style, type, size, shade and hides kept us guessing at every corner. So thanks for the cache and a reason to get out and about with a few mates for a day of endless adventure and fun.
Most of the caches we did were signed with JCB. J-Jabs C-Code1 and B-Budgietas.

It looks as if the whole area has had a pre-summer make over and redesign. The cache was lying out in the open in the ree fork. We signed the log and tucked the cache in to what we hope is a secure spot at the base of the tree. Photo and advice messaged to CO.
Satellites today had our GZ 16m E of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to Sheppythekid for bringing us here.

Down to Flinders for a day out with the family, and of course a few cache! Was a fantastic day for some short walks, a sneaky ice Lolly, quick run around for the dog in Hastings and then home. TFTC
Quick find after i stopped listening to a geofriend who had found it a few months ago in a slightly different location. Still true to the clue.
Looked in the likely places, even had suggestions from some passing geocachers but still didn't find it. Enjoyed the view and the drive.
Beautiful spot! There's been lots of cutting going on but it's still there! Left a trackable and here's a photo of someone trying to get their hang glider out of a tree hahaha
On arrival at GZ we were a little worried the cache might be gone as there was been a clean up in the area including tree pruning. But found it safe and sound. Thanks for bringing us here, the view is amazing.
Cool and windy today at the launchpad. Would have been easy to take off but maybe not so enjoyable finding a landing spot Thanks Sheppythekid for bringing us here.
My normal caching buddy Fleabag- was busy today so I headed out in the freezing cold and windy weather to pickup a few puzzles I had solved and head along the coast near Flinders as well just so I could soak up the even colder sea "breeze".
What a great spot, somewhere I would have never stopped for if it wasn't for this cache.
Excellent launch spot but not something I would like to jump off though.
Thanks Sheppythekid for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Had some spare time this afternoon so I thought heck, may as well get some geocaches!! Headed out for a few hours before the dark clouds rolled in over the peninsula.
After finishing off the Jack speak series, I thought I would grab a few from the area.
Great view, took a few snaps before heading on my way.

Thanks heaps! Great cache, perfect day for it too! Found a wayward golfball too, a bonus!!!
The whole ssmc4 family was in Flinders this afternoon and we enjoyed a lovely coastal walk with our friends. There were no paragliders out today, but the daring girls were keen to give it a go with the equipment they had to hand. I would have been keen to see how far they got but Mrs ssmc4 decided to put her foot down.
Anyway the cache was found fairly quickly. It's really nice to see a decent sized cache in a great location - well done and thanks Sheppythekid (and a favourite from me).

I love Flinders and have been coming here with my family for a while now. Since I started geocaching I wanted to find some here too. Today the time has finally come.
This was a preferred location as I had a TB that I wanted to drop of here. However, finding this cache took a while as the coordinates led me a few meters away. This is probably due to limited accuracy of my phone. I was looking in all sorts of spots when I saw something odd in the corner of my eye. If the branches haven't been cleared recently I wouldn't have a hope I reckon. TFTC hope to find some more here

They've recently cut down a heap of pine trees here. We couldn't find it, so we assume it's now gone
The Picots were here! The paragliders are doing some land clearing, lucky the tree where the cache was found was still standing ...
Great hide. Found pretty quick with helpful clue. Cache is in great shape. Tried to camo it as well as last visitor.
What a beautiful day and great view. TFTC!

frmen1 was too busy taking pics and distracting muggles so I went in for the quick find. TNLN Stopped to admire the view and fill the lungs with air, straight off the Strait. TFTC
I was just looking for caches in the area and realised I forgot to log this one last year. Gorgeous spot. Would never jump off there. No way. Thankyou!
Being a nice day I thought I would try and complete the series; I was not having much luck with a couple of the required stages. I decided to undertake the tasks required for GC28CDA. On my return trip, I passed this but there were too many muggle flyers taking advantage of the perfect conditions. I will leave for another day.
Found it! Left a small bangle for the next person to find. Didn't take anything. Running low on pages in the book.
Found with Geobuddies Sujuhaje. So lovely sitting and watching the paragliders. Took a creepy bug and left a chicken which is what I would be if trying to fly. TFTC
What a great spot but jumping off a cliff is not for me, I will stick to caching. SL
This cache certainly lives up to it's name... AS A HANGLIDER JUMPED OFF A FEW METRES AWAY FROM THE CACHE! !! Luckily family provided cover and everyone else was too focused on the hanglider. Very silent and no sudden sounds. TFTC.

Third find of the day with Nyochi, searched the pine tree for a bit until I found its little hiding spot! Keeping with the flying high theme, you know I have a drinking problem... :p left some bugs and animal cards!
We spotted a hang glider as we approached but he landed on the beach before we could get a photo.
Looks like a driving range for the nearby golf course
Cache was found fairly quickly and we gave two golf balls to a golf muggle across the road
Thanks for bringing us here on Australia Day 2015 Sheppythekid.

The daily cache trip, morning today, cool temperatures.
A bit of rain and thunder, but escaped most of it.
Liked this place a lot, no high flyers here today and I could go for my high
Thanks for the cache

Dropped off our coin, (as near to a port as we could) by the water. Retrieved from Queensland and brought to a new stunning location.
Off visiting the George Bass/ Flinders cairn nearby and couldn't help but stop and get this cache, gps was dodgy at first and quickly guessed it wasn't off the run way a wider search had it come up trumps, then we struggled with broken pencils but soon signed and replaced. TFTC and the vertigo.
Visiting from New Zealand, we were finishing our day on the Peninsula by doing the Hinterland Scenic Drive. Stopped for a cuppa in Flinders and checked the GPS. Only time for one, this cache appealed as it offered views and a cache. We got both so thanks for that.
Found it. Just had to be a little careful with the kids. They were very excited with the find.
After checking out of the motel and having a look at the shops in Dromana we headed off just letting the car GPS tell the next closest suitable cache (ie no big hill or tree climbs lol) We found a couple on the front beach and then headed inland and then to Flinders. We have never driven on a road through a Golf Course before. Very cool. We have also never seen a Glider launch area before either!

Amazing view from this cache! Found it with my parents and GeoDog and Smurfette on a cold rainy day! Found on Sunday 24th August 2014 at 4:40pm.

Out on another thursday caching adventure with Ikkibrady we decide to head out to Cape Schanck and Flinders. After completing a few in the area we embarked on this cache. Before this cache I had no idea that there was even areas like this designated for handgliders so I learned somethings today. The cache itself is fairly simple. Thanks for the hunt Sheppythekid
GPS had me about 10 mteres away however the hint made it an easy find, Great spot don't think i would have come here had it not been for caching TFTC
This Cache took a bit of finding for Nanton34 and I. Mainly because we were in awe of the hang gliding launch pad. Only because we wanted to see someone make the jump, sadly that wasn't going to happen at almost midnight on a full moon on friday the 13th! Once we and our GPS settled the cache was soon in hand! No wind, no hang gliders. Stunning view back towards Philip Island. good spot for a cache.
This was cool, great views from here. We were able to watch people far below on the ocean, paddling while standing upright on surfboards. There's a name for that but I don't know what it is. Anyway, great cache, thanks.
Unfortunately no flying taking pace, fortunately I found the cache. Thanks Sheppythekid.
