Cache found in garden all but empty, no log book.
CO please attend to this one.
CO please attend to this one.
Found it after a little while as my gps didnt want to agree with the location.. the log was in need of some TLC as it was moldy, but logged my name and date on the front of the book
It took a while- my gps was not happy here. Was about to give up when I struck gold. The log is now home to mould, slugs and snails. Couldn't sign the log. Is badly in need of some love.
Today was a grey and drizzly day so I thought that I would nip out and grab a few caches confident that there would be minimal muggle activity.
A quick find. The cache was visible and, as logged previously, the log is sodden. I have hidden the cache a bit better. TFTC.

A quick trip to the Ivanhoe shopping trip today-a few suburbs away but my geodaughter really needed new tap shoes for dancing. Needless to say, we ended up buying more than just what we needed...as always happens when shopping with her!
We were looking in the wrong place for a few minutes, until I turned around and the cache was quite exposed in the open! Inside the logbook was very soggy (need a new one!).
A beautiful little park, honouring brave soldiers. Thanks Cahona.

Very wet note pad and contents and quite exposed, but a nice distraction for 6 & 7 year old while waiting for their big sister to return from a school trip.
Unbeleafably wet. May require a ziplock bag. Tftc. Can recommend the local cold rock ice creamery - even on a cold day. If you sign up to their club online you can get 2 for 1 to share with your geocaching buddy or girlfriend . Mine was lightmetre.
Got this after dropping my girlfriend off in the area. Cute little park, but the cache was completely drenched! Couldn't even write in the book! Was also a bit exposed so I tried rehiding it a bit better. TFTC!
Log book is drenched so very much needing a new was full of water before hand
Out on the hunt doing the donaldson's creek trail and whatever else we can get while out. Out with geowife and brother. Tftc. Its full of water needs major attention.
Didn't find this one. But it was a good location because i spotted a beautiful 57 plymouth at the church.
Whew, found it! Nice to have a find, been missing a few lately, was getting a bit disheartening Not even many muggles around.
I arrived at the cache only find some council workers tending to the gardens. After waiting a few minutes, they didn't look like they were finishing anytime soon so I continued on to the next cache on my walk around Eaglemont and Ivanhoe. Coming back an hour later I had the park to myself. After an exasperating search of the immediate area around GZ I widened my net and was surprised when and where I found it. Not really sure how this doesn't get muggled. Probably could have grabbed it while waiting for the council workers after all!
Thanks to Cahona for a great cache.

Searched in what I thought was the obvious place but no luck. My wife took the advice of a previous log and sat down and had a look around; spotted it straight away.
Easy find just on night fall. It pays to think outside the circle sometimes.

Just as we arrived in the park and were looking at this magnificent old tree, a pair of muggles came around the corner and mr muggle groaned. We chatted and he said when ever they come around here for a walk there is always some one here poking around under stones and bushes. They didn't give us any hints though, just went away smiling. Thanks Cahona
Agree with last finder, not sure if it was supposed to be in that plant. TFTc
The last time I'd tried this cache I'd been foiled by a muggle lifting weights in a nearby garage. Thankfully no such problem today as I arrived and continued that search in the most likely location. But despite much probing and turning over of stuff, no cache presented itself. I moved over and sat down only to then be confronted smack in the eyes by the cache. Yikes. Not sure if that's it normal location as it's pretty un-camouflaged, but hopefully distracted muggle-eyes will miss it.
Signed the cache and returned just in time, as the weightlifting muggle suddenly appeared to continue his workout! Phew! Make a note of watching out for him at 4pm or so on a Saturday!
TFTC Cahona.

I think this cache has a case of the creeps, found a few metres from GZ, and not very well hidden either :s
My second visit here, after last time I was fooled by an errant lid, pen and an old photo. So after keeping a watch on this cache I finally had a chance to drop by and find the real cache, it still had me on a long search though until I spotted the obvious, thanks for the cache , thanks for the hunt
This is the 7th cache that I have found and I am learning more with each find. I spent 20 minutes looking in the wrong area (and pretending to talk on my phone). I should have believed my GPS as it took me straight to GZ and I found the cache without difficulty. TFTC
Few muggles but played hide and seek with the little one to secure the cache. Put some leaves on it to. Tftc.
On my way to a Puzzle Event in Northcote this morning and so I'm grabbing a few caches along the way.
Amazing old tree, looks like it's weathered many a storm. Quick find.
Thanks for placing this cache Cahona

Having arrived to Ivanhoe the evening before I took the chance for an early sunday morning stroll and found this cache after some search. This is my very first cache found in Australia and therefore it´s worth a favorite point.

Hi JacobBB,
I found this cache yesterday with my classes sport teacher who introduced it to me. I really enjoyed looking for it! Thank You!!

We were over from Adelaide for a family get-together to celebrate an 80th birthday. Found the black container out in the open, with the lid off, but with log book and swaps in tact. Admired the awesome tree and moved the cache about 200mm so that it would not be readily found by muggles. L:TB TFTC
Nice first one to find, even with a walk in the rain. Took a while to spot, TNLN.

We found this cache 2 years ago but not where we found it today, thanks to a hint in one of the earlier logs. The co-ordinates are correct. Forget about the green lid on the ground. Not the cache!
The confusion is what makes this cache so good. I missed it the first time as I only had a quick look. If you have a good look you will find it and have no need to log a maintenance request.
The cache is still there. I found it with geomum Carkisser and geostepdad Sando23468. It was quite hard but we found it!

I went caching with my Parents, carkisser and JSando, but didnt log anything because caching didn't log anything because caching didn't really appeal to me that much. Now I've started again, because I want to do it, so i thought I should catch up on my logs first.

Took Wings Of Freedom out today for some caches we'd already done. This cache is absolutely still there. The green lid has been there for months since before our last visit. Last time we found it on the ground at the very bottom of the tree. Today it is not in that same spot. It is higher. Chest height. Black sistema. Those who have claimed a find and signed the green lid need to edit to DNF and come look again. I have it in my hand right at this moment.
When I found this cache it was a sistema, not a green round lid. Hidden about chest height, western side of tree.
As others have said and done, I'm going to claim a find as I found the lid with some names on it but the rest was gone.
We're going to claim this as a find, because we found the lid and pen and wrote on the lid! Owner needs to wake up and check it.... TFTC
Wandered up to Ivanhoe with Bingley3683. Sad to see the remainders of what could have been a good geocache find.
Would CO like to either replace or remove - we're coming to Melbs at the weekend and will be staying about 100 metres away!
The gardening muggles have been, there is fresh tan bark all around GZ.
The cache is missing. The camo is still where it was when we found it last year but the cache is not here. Just a green lid and a pen.
Perhaps the CO could come and check it out.

Nice to drop in here whilst working nearby today. No one about a fabulous old tree to look at too. Good sized cache for such a small park too so well done on that Cahona
TNLN, Thanks
TNLN, Thanks
Very quick find. Cache was a bit exposed so tried to hide a little better on replacement.
Paid my respects and then moved on to the next one.
