As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attentions for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Found location but no sight of cache!! Heavily logged area possibly lost by recent tree felling activity
Can you please disable the cache? It's surely gone. It's disgraceful how the logging is done. With the "waste" that they leave behind just in this small area, my patents could heat their house for the next 100 years. That's in Germany, with -20 degree winters.
Wasn't able to get near to gz as this part of the forest is closed due to logging operations.
Will probably need disabled then checked once the works are finished.

Was at the forest today, so thought would grab this one on the way out. Saw the logging signs, but figured it'd be out of the way.
Unfortunately, think these Ghost Pigs may have drifted on to a new place.. Went to GZ on the gps to find a lot of chopped trees and scrub.
Might want to check this one out and maybe disable it until the logging is all done.
Thanks,
AHappyTeddyBear

Area has been recently logged so not sure if it is still there? Gps took me right to a felled tree.
Tftc, we went much more bush bashing than we needed but that added to the fun, dropped off tb
The Cache box was lying on the ground, I have hidden it there again, as I've got no idea where it used to be beforee...
Nice easy find with geokid2. Alas the contents are wet and log saturated. Could do with some TLC. TFTC.

I haven't read the description before going for this one and it was almost 10pm when I found the cache. No ghost, no pig but... spiders and wallabies. Good fun to do this at night. Found the cache on the ground so left it where it was. TFTC
Once I determined that the showers were likely to stay away for the rest of the I decided it was time to get the treadly and go exploring the much raved about Rotorua Mountain Bike Tracks. After riding many of the trails I found myself reasonably close to this cache so a quick diversion via the Genesis Track was made. I really do like combining both of my outdoor activities (cycling & geocaching) and I try to do this as often as I can. The cache took a little bit of searching but after removing some foliage on the ground I found it lying underneath. I restored it to a location more in keeping with the hint and recovered with dead material to hide it from muggles.Time now to get back on the bike and explore some more tracks (and find some of the other caches here ) TFTC
Came across country to get to this cache. Got to GZ and soon found the cache sitting on the ground. Signed the log and tried to see where the cache should have been hidden. Didn't see anywhere so left it where I'd found it under the punga coved in debris. TFTC!
we may have taken it too literally but with 4 of us looking for 20 min we couldnt find it.. maybe next time.

I try this one and it was very easy. Last time I did not find, I do not know why.
Today during morning walk in a forest even with out GPS. I went to the place and found in a first place where I looked.
TFTC.

Went for a ride with the boys and decided to try this one again. Didn't find it last time but had it in hand in less than 2 minutes. TFTC
Found it on our second attempt. First time we wandered about hopelessly, but today it was a pretty quick find. Thanks to some stickoflage.
This had me scratching my head for a while, then I started to rummage round ignoring the hint, after a few grunts I discovered the hide, TNLNSL dipped trackable replaced with a healthy covering of stickoflague, to facilitate easier finds in the future. T4TC

I spent here about 15 minutes, but I could not the cache. Even with the hint. No luck today maybe next time I will found the cache.
Nice walk throught the forest.

I followed my GPS all over the place, trying to make sense of the hint (I was getting nowhere, had to resort to the hint), until the GPS showed what I need to look for. Ah ha!! No cache there, but a quick visit back to all the other places and... no similar places there either. Oh well. Next time.
Followed the obvious geotrail and it was an easy find even if the cache is not in a position that matches the hint. The dogs enjoyed the walk and I enjoyed eating blackberries on the way back.
2.50pm - Found in the end, I reckon a ghost must of placed this as it was a good 20 metres from co ords. SLTFTC

Hey, woof... JC Cache Dawg here...
I'm loading all my finds from my Alpha Males (aka GenCuster) logs, where he deigned to remember that I was with him... As if he could forget...19:25 I smelt pigs so spent most of my time off-piste, so to speak. GC may have been just a tad piste (apparently, itÕs how you say it)

19:25 Unnecessarily hard and not what or where I'd expected, based on the other two caches. Maybe it's wandered or pigs fly?. A quick walk back to The Waipa MTB Carpark was necessary to beat the gate closure... JC Cache Dawg smelt (or fancied he smelt) pigs so spent most of his time off-piste, so to speak. Me? I was just a tad piste, haha. Cheers, GC.
Kindly Suggest:

E 176 15.660
Averaged for 5+ Min on Garmin Oregon 300
And as Agogog's log states, it's not at GL, so maybe pigs fly instead of (ahem) root?

How to make the simple difficult!
Third visit here and with updated co-ordinates I thought it would be a simple grab as I know the adjacent tracks well.
Loh - it was not to be - gps was all over the place, the geotrail disappeared into the low fern - but hey thats what pigs like - in I go - bit of blackberry, lots of logs and possible pig fern and then I hear it - the ghost of Victoria chatting to her friend - keep quiet till it passes and then the pigs start grunting - I'm out of here - back in the open I am mad not to have found the cache.
Gather my wits and in I go again - it can't be that hard - I ve rooted around most places and when about to give up as the light is fading fast I reach for a tree to support me from stumbling and there it is - 500mm above ground level and anywhere between 7 and 15m from my wildly swinging gps location - Maybe there is a hidden force in this area! Left a glow in the dark cat to keep Victoria company.

Still had the old coordinates in the GPS, but found it after a bit of hunting. The old coordinates were about 30 plus metres out. The new coordinates look good. Previous logs mentioning Geocaching instincts and following the geotrail worked. We must be good pigs.

Took the MTB for a bit of a blat. GPS was struggling a bit under the tree cover, searched the logical spots - cache located after about 10 minutes. Logbook alittle difficult to remove from cache but got there in the end. TFTC

Coords are definitely off. Luckily a previous log referring to using 'cache sense' proved very useful. Had to use the Swiss army knife to get the log out from memory. TFTC.
Took me a while and a few visits but got there in the end....Chopsticks come in really handy.... Thanks NZFlossy for the hint on this one....Happy hunting....
Going to replace the cache container, this week as it seems to no longer be water tight

Glad thad Squirrel did so much internalising - this was a hard cache to find - took ages and needed help - my GPS was showing 18m - a big circle in this bush - I do have other coords if you would like them - Lovely area and great walks - thanks for putting this together I also had a lot of trouble getting log book out of cache, being damp I feel it will tear very easily TFTC

I was internalising a very complicated situation in my head... like why my gps was pointing in the other direction, to an object 21 metres away. Anyway, I didn't want to look like a spoon in front of Monique... so I put the gps away and followed my instinct (the geotrail more precisely).
The Ghost Pigs offered me some of their ghost chips... but I told them I couldn't eat their ghost chips; so I had to spend some time with them... (Puzzle Time).
Found the cache, and it was a narrow bugger too. Took ages to get the logbook out, on account of the cache being damp. A good hide though, and liking the story. You must be Teachers TFTC.

Our gps a little off on this spectacular frosty morning! Keep looking. It is here!
Found on a lunchtime walk this rare fine day. Pretty damp environment but. There didn't seem to be a log...
