Sorry to everyone whose looked for the cache. We’ll replace it as soon as we can.
Went both on the way and on the way back to destination and still couldn’t find
#6993 (1 of 10 today)
I'd been thinking about the target for my 7000th find for a while. An interesting spot certainly, but after a recent day when I'd (finally) increased my D/T grid to 80 I got it in my head that I should also use the milestone to get #81! So what D3½ / T5s are out there?
There were initially two candidates - one requiring a careful climb and crawl, and one requiring a swim, or hopefully wade. Preferred the wade, but it's a 2½ hour drive from home.
And then a third possibility was published not too far from home, requiring a kayak or other small water craft.
After checking the weather and deciding today was the day, I headed north for my 7000th find. Need seven before I get there.
Got my target in a beautiful spot, made my milestone and completed my D/T Grid - that's the definition of a great caching day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started here, needing seven finds before the big one.
A short diversion off the main road, and a quick find in the logical spot.
Signed the log and replaced, then away.

After driving up this morning and setting up camp we finally got out caching. This was the first find of the weekend (out of an eventual 376 for me !! - woo hoo) and it was a nice quick find. We just loved driving around the green farmland.
Thanks Chippyroo !!

We started at Largs and went on a massive adventure to find this geocache and ended up finding it it was soo fun!
Out getting the cache when approached by Justin, a local who had seen previous activity around GZ and was curious as to what was going on. He knew about the container but not about geocaching. Explained it all, showed him the app on the phone. Might have a convert. After all that, I didn't know this road existed - thanks for showing me. TFTC
Stopped at this one after spending the day at the Tocal Field Day. Nice quick find. TFTC

Quick park and grab on my way home from work because I didn't want the long weekend to be over!

Find #709
Another lap through the Morpeth/Woodville/Seaham region today, after running out of time for searching whilst at the event in the area last week. Another souvenir up for grabs too, so mysteries high on the list! 8 finds and one DNF, a nice 3 hours on the road.....
We shot past here the other week, not spotting anywhere to pull over. Today found a road right to GZ, parked with the GPS showing 3m. A quick find - the log sheet is completely full. Will post a photo, as could not sign. TFTC Chippyroo

First cache for the day on the run from Sydney to Dungog.
After a bit of fiddling around to get from Flat Rd to GZ I found the cache easily. There really wasn't anywhere else it could have been.
It certainly is flat around here, you'd see an ark if there was one. All I could see was turf.

Shame the boat is gone but we found the cache easily. A little bit up the road there is a cool pink and yellow cow and a water buffalo statue though.
