Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Today moving from Clare to Nuri caching along the way. Glad to collect another smiley here. Thanks McKee Clan
An early morning drive to the city and stopping off for caches to get the Leap Day SouvenirMany thanks for the hide McKee Clan
Staying the night at the oval and out caching the district. We took a bit of time to find this one as there were ants on the ground and in the bushes. Had ants in my hair, up my legs and arms! Finally had cache in hand, log signed and replaced. Nice bit of history. Tftc McKee Clan
Found by Mary and David at 15:10. A FP for showing us some history we didn't know. We've seen a few containers like this over the years, but not for a long time now. Our thanks to McKee Clan.
Came by to nhelp PLOTN locate this one. Container was waterlogged so have replaced with a camo army flare container. It is about 300mm long with a radius of 50mm, green and have a screw lid at one end.I retrieved a travel bug and will move it along on its journey. cheers
Day trip to Robertstown and Eudunda area grabbing many multis and others during the days caching. All caches in good condition unless mentioned in the logs. TFTC
A great bit of history as naughtybunny and I headed towards Burra. We took the time to read the plaque even though it had seen better days. Unfortunately the container was soaked and full of water. There had been heavy rains here last week, so this may need a little maintenance. Log not written, but photo taken as proof. TNLN. Cheers.
Another find with Chookster on our way to a short break in Burra. Unfortunately this was sodden and we were unable to sign the log.TFTC McKee Clan
Thanks for the cache Not to far away from a pretty good play ground found it with vj187 and No_Regrets01

My grandma and sister
Found today whilst out with my very old rescue red heeler (Little Red).
We are scattering some ashes from her departed rescue brother and sister (Buddy RIP 25/6/23 & Nikki RIP 7/12/20) around some of our favourite places in and around Riverton (or home since 1/1/21).
Thank you for the intersesting cache!
Happy long weekend June 2023!

Today saintsno1 and Goldy ventured out for some caches out north to kill some free time, focusing on quality caches rather than quantity.
A total 28 finds for the day.
We started off heading towards Lochiel but the coppers had the road blocked due to oil spill so we ventured the back way towards Bute, then did a loop up and around from Crystal Brook to Spalding.
A quick find here today.
Cache retrieved and signed with stamp.
Thanks McKee Clan for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy’s total find count to 1930 on the 29th of October 2022.

Day nine of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Traveling from Blanchetown to Clare with a Cornish pastie in Kapunda.
A nice drive through the hills.
Grabbed a couple of AdLabs, and a few other odd caches we passed.
Certainly not a lot left of Gilbert Town!
Thanks, Robmc.

#19088. Day 9. of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. It was a moving day today between Blanchetown and Clare. So enjoyed the drive and the scenery once we got to Truro - beautifully green and lush at this time of the year. Spent a lot of time in Kapunda at the Copper Mine and in town. Gathered up 2 AdLabs and several caches along the way. Looking forward to the next four days based in Clare.
Poor Gilbert Town did not have a long life. At least the cairn remembers. Thanks to a recent cacher for replacing the container. We added our names and continued on our way.

Great hide,
Pencil added,
Cache container lid cracked so replaced cache for owner (I will contact tomorrow when I can get their contact from an organisation them and myself are a part of) it’s now 300ml in stead of 200ml and is clear (Camo replaced of course) and the container is now a more waterproof container now as well
Thanks McKee Clan for the cache

Interesting story of Gilberton/town. I really enjoyed reading the history of this now nonexistent little hamlet. How many of these little places have been lost to history. Thank you for bringing this one to travellers attention for a brief moment ..
A few quick random stops on the way home from a weekend of Music and wine and friends in Clare Valley. Love a road trip. . Nice to be on the road again for a while. Just did a few quick caches along the way. TFTC TNLNSL

Spring has sprung and I'm having a long weekend away chilling, caching, camping.
Left either a buzzy or a lovely with the discovered cache.
All the years I’ve travelled this road and I’ve never stopped to look at this monument. Thank you McKee Clan for giving me a reason to pull over.

A quick find and sign on the way home. We've nearly stopped here loads of times, but today the traffic was almost non-existent, and there is a plaque to read!

A couple of days away with The White Dog Gang .
The bikes were bought along and we did the Rattler, the N E series and a few of the Reisling Trail. Plus any that were near the roads we travelled along.
Thanks to evryone who put out a cache that we found.

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to the Clare Valley for a bit of wine tasting and cycling the Riesling Trail. We were treated to great sunny weather, and nice to have been visiting the wine region.
Today, jesswrigley and I started the day by heading north around Clare to visit a few miscellaneous locations and old churches. We then made our way to Polish Hill River, and then on to Mintaro where we participated in the famous maze. After visiting *Taylors Wines* for a wine and chocolate tasting, we had a final session cycling along the Riesling Trail north from Watervale. We then made the return home, briefly stopping at Tarlee, Stockport, and Hamley Bridge.
During our return home, we made a quick stop here and cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks McKee Clan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Ooh, CacheGuardian, and none too happy at being disturbed, too! Thanks for getting me to stop here.
Another find on the way back from Clare. Hard to believe it’s been over 100 years since this town existed.
I’m not sure how many visitors come to Gilbert Town anymore. But it had at least one visitor today. TFTC
We were on our way from Clare to Adelaide when this cache appeared on the side of the road ahead. It didn't take a lot of persuasion to stop. Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks McKee Clan for the cache.
Got waved at by a nice cyclist, tried to act casual and waved back lovely addition of the Menu.
Had spent the weekend camping (enhanced by a few heavy downpours) and decided to look for this one to break up the drive. A nice quick find. TFTC
Another Wednesday wandering with a rat and a starfish. Clare was the target for the day.
I've lost track of the number of times I've passed this cache without stopping, I only stopped this time to calm one of the passengers who doesn't like passing unfound caches down.
Thanks for the cache McKee Clan.

After a few weeks of working on assignments, I was glad for an opportunity for a caching trip up to Clare. Meeting up with Leighside Legands we got an early start on the day, picking up a few caches on the way, before heading to the lunchtime event. After all the social obligations were met (and photos of Ben were snapped) we headed out for the afternoon. The rest of the day was an enjoyable one, picking up plenty of earth caches and some quality sights were seen before we finally headed back to Adelaide at around 7:30.

The usual troupe of animals from the puzzled puzzlers group, this time on a Wednesday ventured out on this marvelous day to seek yet more of our un-found hides. Today's mission was Clare however we just did not seem to make it with all these other caches that diverted us from our goal.
Another that only the Adder needed so a quick stop, easy find in the obvious location.

Found this one out in the open as well as a lamb that had escaped the paddock. Signed log and returned cache to the obvious hiding spot with a rock on it. TFTC
