One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

From http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Noting the previous logs.... We were in the area, and were having a good carrion-free day, so decided to pass on this cache. I've added an NA log though, as it seems that without owner intervention, the caching world would be better off without this one.

29-Mar-16
Saw a stump but reading previous logs I didn't want to get too close with my kids. This one might have to be archived as it is getting vandalised.

11-Mar-16
Apologies regarding late logging but was checking log sheets from my road trip and noticed I hadn't logged this one. Was able to see the container but due to rubbish and remains of animals and my lack of good quality gloves I was unable to sign. Please accept this as my log.

18-Feb-16
This cache is in URGENT need of some CO intervention.
The stump holding the cache is full of rotting carcasses of dead birds.
But the CO has not been active for some time, so maybe nothing will be done.
Certainly, no one can sign the log, if it is even still in there.

17-Feb-16
Even with a long set of tongs none of us were touching that!!

02-Feb-16
I found it, but didn't sign the log, as it is covered with the carcass of some rotting birds. Yuk!!

02-Jan-16
After reading the other logs we no exactly where the cache is. Though we were not to keen on searching under a rotting animal carcass to find it. Happy to take this one as a did not find.

Nice drive out here into the middle of nowhere, at the end of the road I turned round and parked the car. Pretty obvious where the cache might be. However a car then went past and drove into the end property. Muggles! Out here! I waited for them to get out of sight at the property, then quickly found the cache. Not a very delightful cache location, but at least not too much rubbish. Seems like this cache and location is disguised as rubbish in a rubbish bin. Classy. I signed the log and replaced the cache.

I was sitting in my car, having a drink and looking up my map etc, when an old guy drove up on his four-wheeler (or was it a drive-on mower?) I thought he might be a nice old chap after a chat and making sure I had found the cache. Nope. He asked if I was looking for someone, I lied and said I was heading north and was lost. I figured if I'd mentioned the cache that would have been the end of the cache. He said he was wondering why I was there, suggesting I was parking in front of his doorstep. I was clearly on public land but wasn't going to argue, I just said I had gone the wrong way and was soon off. Chap might have seen others stop here, I don't know. TFTC.

Nice easy find

24-Oct-15
Made the trip out to this cache, unable to sign my name on the log due to the rubbish and what seems to smell like something is dead in the hiding spot. Great views from gz, thanks for the cache.

Yay!

Found on my way to work. I left early so I could make the detour out to this cache. It was a nice drive and I did not expect the final road to be to quiet. As I pulled up I noted where the cache would have to be and did not really need my handheld (but used it to log my find for field notes). There was a fair bit of garbage in there, which seems weird as why would someone drive out here just to litter? I really should bring along bags so I can CITO. Log is still wet.
Thanks for the nice drive and cache!

16-Apr-15
A busy day of caching around the district finding all sorts of different hides with Tack123. Cache very wet.
Thanks very much for showing us down this road.

16-Apr-15

Log is very wet

Well this became our milestone #80. Nice location, and easy to find. A moment of stiff competition with Mrs Gilmaster attempting to trip Master Gilmaster over to be the one to find it. Little bugger still found it though.

01-Sep-14
yay ill head back in a couple of days (and look like a weirdo lol will be 3rd time down that road) and try to snag it

Cleaned out the site today, thank you for the feedback sugarbuzz 82. Players should have less trouble with rubbish at the site. Keep on Caching on - Icemanthescoutleader

25-Aug-14
I went back for round 2 today on this one, i lifted the can as is in the logs (its painfully obvious where it is) but im not playing around with what is in that stump, sheep fleece, rubbish and wire. Its obvious someone does not want that cache there.

It either needs maintenance or replaced elsewhere.

03-Aug-14
Much less gross in there today without a corpse rotting away in there. TFTC

20-Jul-14
All you need to do is lift the bucket

04-Jul-14
Got it after a bit of digging through the rubbish with a stick.

16-Jun-14
Found it but the rubbish is on top of it & there are broken bottles so we cant get to it. Might need to be cleaned up a bit. Unable to log it but could see it.

19-Apr-14
Easy find even without the gps working but there is a lot of rubbish and something decomposing in the stump.

06-Apr-14
Got caught in the rain but found easily enough

24-Feb-14
Found at 10:24 AM GAFF1. I kept on saying "I own a hole" Razz Evidence of a lot of rain recently. The hole was full of rotting grass which at first I thought was part of the camo.
Thanks icemanthescoutleader.

03-Jan-14
Seems the local farmer might be sick of visitors. Rotting wallaby carcass has been placed in the stump. It got gory when I tried to move it.

08-Aug-13
Great stop and grab cache.
Shame about the bottles and barbwire in the hollow log though.
This was our 28th cache.
Did this on the way to visit the cache owner at scouts.
Took woggle, left bouncy eyeball. Very Happy

Chuk and Chukymum found it.

TFTW (Thanks for the woggle)
TFTC, Iceman!

This was the second visit - Mr horsey had no luck and made the geopony stay in the car because it was raining. When we all came back the geopony jumped out and found it straight away. Took Christmas bear and left battery.

Found it

Reperio at 0930.

This was the second cache find for the day, and I enjoyed the drive out along the country roads to this picturesque area. Pulled up, and the cows virtually had their head over the cache. After asking them to move...I retrieved the cache, although future finders should be aware there's rusty barbed wire and glass in there with it. Not sure a wheelchair cacher could get to this one very well.

A nice drive along a quiet country road. The cache was quickly located, signed & on our way.

A quick grab in a nice area to visit. It proved to be a good detour as the bridge down the road was closed making the road past the cache the only option. TFTC icemanthescoutleader

Visiting from Canberra, staying around 10km away. Used google maps for this one as GPS was at home. Nice quick find. Grew up here and had not been to this area.
TNLN, thanks for the cache.

In the middle of nowhere on a road I have been past many times and never taken any notice of never mind going along and I had to wait for a muggle before I could get the cache.

This was a easy find after the local muggle walking his dogs headed back for home.

nice little place but shame that the stump is used as a bin.

TFTC

How people find these spots is beyond me, I wouldn't ever go for a drive out here other to get this cache. Hmm rubbish is right... Isn't the cleanest spot for a cache. Must be the local bin. TFTC.

**FTF** number 38

A quick find as I live close by and with all the bad weather recently got let out early. Checked the email and saw a new cache published and being only 5kms away did the quick dash, found an empty log, did the ftf jig and was on my way. TFTC

2TF. Had just grabbed FTF at Bolwarra Lookout and thought 'it's not too much further so let's go'.
A short time later we had the cache only to find we were beaten by Chippyroo. Have to be up early to beat the locals, eh? Good hide icemanetc., thanks for the cache.
