As there has been no response to the last request/s to attend to this cache, or provide regular updates, the cache is being de-listed on the basis that it has been abandoned by the Cache Owner.
If there are components or remnants of the cache, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained here: [**Unarchive a geocache**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me regarding this cache, please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil,**](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

This cache has had no response to the message that Bunjil posted over a month ago. The deadline was on the 16th of August. This has passed and this is just a gentle reminder to Bunjil that this cache may have been abandoned. It would be great that if the cache was abandoned that the cache should be archived, as this is still listed and another Geocacher might want to place a cache near here.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that may need some attention. Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 16th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 16th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then.
Please don't send me an email but instead follow the instructions posted above.

I searched for it for over 10 minutes, used the hint as well. Probably missing because it should be easy to spot
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Find #1582 for me. Found at 2pm. Well, I never originally planned to get this cache today, but one thing led to another and I found myself at the Telstra Store at the Waurn Ponds shopping centre after my old iPhone accidentally fell into a rock pool at Point Lonsdale where I was holidaying with the family. Anyway I needed a replacement phone and the GPS led me to Waurn Ponds. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?) the queue at the Telstra Store was long and I was told I'd have a 50-minute wait. So, what to do in that time? Naturally, find a cache! Luckily I had my GPS in the car and saw this one was 700m away which was perfect given the time-frame. I wasn't going to move my car though since it took ages to get the park (very busy at Waurn Ponds today!), so I walked along the creek path towards GZ instead. Soon I saw that GZ was on the other side of the houses but a walking track connected the creek path to the street so all was good and the cache was quickly found. I noted that the lid was missing, but apart from that all was good at GZ. On my way back to the shopping centre I must have passed at least 3 or 4 elderly people on scooters - great to see them mobile and they certainly out-paced me as they sped along the path with their scooter flags waving in the wind warning me of their approach! Thanks for this cache placement and the history that goes with it tnt_trent_130 - fantastic way to wait for my turn in the Telstra Store queue!
Nice quick find. Minimal muggle activity on a week day.
In surprisingly good shape for having no lid.

I looked for a good while trying to be stealthy, but had no luck, possibly been moved? :/
Highly entertaining corner. We were spotted by a muggle but purposely made her eyes bug out with me hanging out the window fondling the metal lol... after having a fit of giggles we parked the car and went to grab it. Of course i got loads of looks by passing muggles as this girl in a wheelchair sat on the corner waving at them for more fits of giggles. Nabbed it inbetween muggles and laughing fits.
Busy corner traffic wise but with a little stealth and patience the cache was found - log book signed and it was returned to its good hiding spot. Cache still ok without its lid.

Nice quick drive by. Was in a bit of an exposed spot, but as it was a quick find, it wasn't too bad. TFTC
Thx for the cache guys. Easy find.
Suggestion - Maybe try and camo the mint tin a bit. eg spray it grey.
Might prevent it being inadvertently picked up by muggles.

I was up really early this morning to go to the dawn service on Eastern Beach. It was a lovely event with a great turn out.
On the way back, I decided to detour via a cache to get my cache for the day. This was a nice quick find. TFTC.

I found the only remaining part of the cache...the lid. Luckily I had a spare with me. I popped the lid inside together with a new log and replaced. Thanks tnt trent 130.
Enjoyed reading the history here made a quick grab that much more worthwhile. TFTC. Tnt trent 130
Found it quick which was good because we felt a little creepy with our torches in a residential area.
Nice quick grab as we had seen this type of hide a few times.
Good to learn of the history in Grovedale as we have spent all our lives in and around Geelong, but only through Geocaching are we motivated to take in the History.
Some of which is fascinating. The CO's do a fabulous job in this regard and should be applauded.
