Couldn't find have looked before too with no luck

01-Jun-17
Went there today. Been searched everywhere but unfortunately not there. I believe that the cache had gone but I can see few plants have damaged. Would be good to put other area without plants damaged. So I put DNF for me today. Happy Hunting

31-May-17
Spoke to the last finder who placed it in a hidey spot, they sent me a photo of it, it is definitely missing.

13-May-17
I found this still sealed out in the open. I think it was 'muggled' by a bird, as my car was set upon in ten seconds of parking near the gates. I placed it back to where I think it was supposed to be and sent an image to the CO.

TFTC. Beaut find in a beautiful park.

05-Oct-16

A morning of caching in and around Frankston brought me to this location. After widening my search area the cache was located but the coordinates were out by 12m. As another logger said you do not need to trample through the garden. TFTC

Hard to find. Clues helped

28-Aug-16
This was a very frustrating cache hunt. We went to GZ and searched without success, even after increasing the search area. Then we read a number of logs and saw numerous references to inaccurate coordinates. Some other comments and the cache name helped focus our search and after a further 15 minutes, the cache was located. It was a good hide and the cache and contents were in good condition. However, the coordinates were inaccurate. We took five sets of coordinates and the average w obtained was S36 09.134 E145 07.562. Hopes this helps others. Thanks O'DoyleRulz for the cache in a lovely location.

Finally found it ... Laying low on cut tea tree branch ... Araucaria- bidwillii helped! Co-ordinates off as others said

12-Aug-16
Headed toward Frankston today earlier that what I would usually go to uni on a Friday so I could knock off some more caches in the Frankston area and get myself a little closer to 200 finds haha. Anyway in total in this little trip I found 4 caches which isn't much but enough for a little morning trip. After this stroll I headed to Frankston shopping centre to quickly grab myself some lunch (minerva dim sims my favourite). As of now I am at Uni writing up this log hahaha, any way I would like to thank you for the cache and for the little adventure Smile

Little bit off the cords. Great hiding spot. First time being in this park. Lived in Frankston for a year now

31-Jul-16
Brilliant cache! Took a little while as the coordinates are quite off but when we got there the cache was easily spotted and might need a lick of black camo paint. Mum stayed in the car trying to get her eevie on top of the Pokemon GO gym in the gardens (as we left we heard some people trying to have a shot at the gym with their pidgey and doduo ). TFTC, Brainiac03 Cache number 301.

29-Jul-16
20 metres away from GeoCode.

25-Jul-16
Gorgeous gardens! A pity the coords made us trample through the garden beds when there's absolutely no need. It's along the outer edge.

Olivia spotted first!

16-Jul-16
About twenty metres off the coords but found in the end.

Had given up on this one. Had a kick of the footy. Footy ended up in bush and my son went to retrieve it. He found the cache there too which was a fair way away from where we were looking! Lovely park. Thanks

Second time lucky today after reading some clues. Thank you

02-Apr-16
Thought this was going to be tricky given recent logs and apparent inaccurate coordinates. Decided not to use navigation and just search the wider GZ area. Wasn't getting anywhere until the last place I looked before I was about to leave and found a nice reward. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.

01-Apr-16
Location was quiet apart from a few walking laps but we newbies could not find it today. Will go back again soon armed with more clues.

After my unsuccessful attempt to find this cache 2 days ago, I went and read some of the logs for some further hints. Having done that I felt more confident in finding it today. I went back in my lunch hour, widened my search (sometimes at 30m - which was way too off). And still no luck. Thought I would come away with another sad face. Then I went back to the logs and found one that was a winner. Now I have a smiley face. TFTC.

17-Feb-16
After having a quick find up the road I thought I would give cache ago. Love the name of the cache - so appropriate! But no luck in the little time I had. So many possibilities. I'll have to come back another time.

14-Feb-16
It was really hard look everywhere

Through geocaching I am discovering parts of Frankston I haven't visited before despite living here for 25 years! Lovely park, thanks for the introduction. TFTC

27-Jan-16
Had to get my car serviced and what do you do while waiting? Go caching of course with my good friend BorisB&Natasha. Had a fun filled day with my friend gallivanting around the area. This one my phone had me 10mtrs from GZ but we managed to locate it in the end. TFTC

Together with Calypso62, I came to Melbourne to attend the Mega Event. We also found several caches while we were here, this being one such cache. Co-ords were a little off & some evidence of damage by cachers - care needed. Sorry it took so long to log this event. SL TFTC.

#2361
Geotooter and I had travelled south to attend the Melbourne Mega Event. We enjoyed finding some caches while we were down here and this was one of them. We also found the coordinates to be off. Our GZ took us into the garden area but there's no need to go there. Look to the SW of the coordinates. As Tankengine commented, there's evidence of geocacher damage so yes, the coordinates do need to be modified. Thanks for placing this cache and adding to my global geocaching experiences.
Cheers!

15-Nov-15
Found with mtrax. This one took ages! Why? Cause the coordinates are way off... This is not good when in a botanical garden, as it causes unnecessary damage to the nearby area. Please post corrected coordinates.

Well that took unnecessarily long! In the area for a course and just had to make the 1 hour trip worthwhile by tackling this one. I suspect I was there soon after Pippin69 judging by the logbook!

05-Nov-15
Found it! I was working in Frankston today. After finding a cache up the road I decided to look for this one before heading home. The previous hints helped me find this one before I got too wet in the storm! Mind you, I was looking for a towering Bunya, it took me moment to spot this young specimen. Looks like a just missed meeting another cacher here. TFTC SL Smile

No Luck this time. It was right on closing time, and the 3 of us almost got locked in.
We also saw the flask, headset, bag, etc. it was looking like a crime scene, but way to much for a small cache.

will try again soon.

Find #1617

Having had a nearby DNF I decided to walk on and look for this one. Took me a fair while I have to say. The GPS put in a completely different area but I had a quick look and wheeled around to check some previous logs. Certainly some of the previous comments and suggested coordinates helped to redirect me somewhat. A bit more searching and the cache was in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables that I am taking to the Melbourne mega event in the next few weeks. Thanks for the cache O'DoyleRulz.

After a bit of a wild goose chase we looked through the logs and voilĂ  we found it!! Beautiful little place to visit! Thanks Smile

21-Oct-15
Found some interesting things hiding in the bushes today. A stash of needles in a thermos and a variety of other weird objects! Police called to remove the offensive instruments, then went in to find the cache. Found near the bunja tree sign. Tftc. With Jones3012216.

A great park to visit on a warm day. Found after about 15 mins as coords were a fair way off. After reading the logs I then needed to locate this type of pine. Tried a likely but wrong type, just had to widen search and then geo senses kicked in. Log signed although slightly damp and safely back again. Thanks

26-Sep-15
Haha found it. Needed the clues tho. Mrs Jaktembo is still searching. I told her to read the logs. Lets see if she does. Nice place.

20-Sep-15
Booha, Bunya! Wouldn't have found it without the logs thanks everyone

Another lovely park. Who would have known there were so many around.
Def read previous logs 'all About the Pine' and not will make life easy Smile

Nice slightly challenging find. Found a geocoin to keep haha. Jk will be moving it on within the next week. Tftc!

16-Aug-15
Left a Geocoin in there. If the next person that is reading this finds the cache DONT KEEP THE Geocoin. Good hide TFTC!

14-Aug-15
Damn, I somehow convinced myself the pine spoken of by our forefathers would be a more imposing specimen. Smile Thanks!

11-Aug-15
Came to Frankston to do a bit of shopping and couldn't go past finding a cache or two. Looked around for a while without luck and then read recent activity and found a very useful clue without the clue I would have given up. Coords seem to be out 10m. love these gardens Tftc

08-Aug-15
Thanks for the cache. Hadn't been to this side of the bot gardens. Forgot our own at home. Geokids had a ball running on the grass.

Geokid was keen to find this on her own with no help from mum (lol)... but the slightly dodgy coordinates meant it was not to be. Still, we got there in the end thanks to all the previous hints! TFTC! =D

12-May-15
This one took me AGES in the wind and rain today. I almost gave up a couple of times. There's quite a few places to hide it and the hint doesn't narrow it down too much. The coords were around 10m for me. One of the previous comments saying 'find the pine, find the cache' was useful in the end. Thanks for the cache.

09-May-15
Hints were very helpful. I used to live near the Bunya mountains, it's a beautiful place. TFTC!

05-May-15
I was having a bit of difficulty with this one for awhile since the coords appeared slightly off. After seeing a fish-bone fern and reading the previous logs I finally spotted the bunya and, voila! Cache in hand!

13-Apr-15
Didn't want to trample the vegetation so read a few logs.
Thanks for the bunya clue.
