I think this one needs archiving as the focus of the cache location is no longer there. Not sure the previous log actually found it.
No joy for me today, quite likely because Ground Zero, has been zeroed... See pics of what remains...
#5455 We were heading down to Melbourne with Coruze for some more caching shenanigans and this was a pit stop on our way through to stretch the legs. Arrived pretty early at GZ (before 9am) so we had beaten both muggles and mozzies! These are the types of caches that Dad likes best and pretty soon he had the cache in hand. A great way to start the day and weekend - our thanks to royds16 for the fun. Cheers [^]
On our way down to Melbourne for another mad caching trip, we stopped to stretch our legs and grab a cache [^] Well my legs weren't as stretched as my caching partners in crime It's been a while since my last visit to Seymour so it was good to see the place again. Stretching the legs and happened to turn around admiring the place and by the time I had turned back skullracing was already at the cache....just like that Wish I could do that!! Thanks for the fun 'royds16'

We drove past this one last July, but there was just tooooo much happening in the park. This morning we practically had the place to ourselves. A quick manouvre of the tool had P-P in place in no time. There were actually two containers up there - each with a partial log. We took the liberty of consolidating the contents into the more subtly camouflaged container. With the ladder back in the bag, we could have easily been mistaken for a couple of artists heading off with an easel.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to royds16 for the hunt.

Did not find it today. We are coming back with a taller ladder to have a real good look.

Made the find whilst en-route to family in Wodonga...
I detoured to grab this one as last time I was here, I could not search due to muggles sitting near GZ... Today there was no such problem & I withdrew the telescopic ladder from the Prado and climbed to make the find... No muggles or Mozzies about today...
Thanks for bringing me here...

Decided to stop here for something to eat, I left the retrieving to Biggles of Oz though. No Mozzies and no flies even though it was hot and sticky, it was a treat to be able to eat without flies buzzing around, did have Kookaburra visitors though, about 7 of them and happily shared our tea with them, great fella's. Difficult to retrieve the cache but well worth the visit.

Takes me back to my rock-climbing days. "Sus" out a hand-hold just out of arms reach, take a deep breath, lunge for it and then establish foot-holds to hopefully avoid an embarrassing splat! Even managed to do it twice, although if you find a set of dentures attached to a branch, well they're mine!
I think I'll even rate this as one of my favorites despite stabbing myself in the ear-lobe with a branch and helping my dentists retirement fund! Tarzan ain't got nothin' on me!

Didn't noticed any mozzies today, but unfortunately a family of muggles prevented us from searching GZ. Maybe next time.
11 year old Geo son loved this one, the only time he enjoys caching is with these hides! Have to give you a fav. Tftc.
Day one of our post Christmas / pre New Year trip... taking our new tent trailer for a test run, weather was very hot and humid. Our travels are taking us up to Ettamogah and across to Old Tallangatta before returning home.
Visiting many towns along the way, taking the Geo wife to places she has never been before, and giving our Geo Pug time to sniff out new territories
Did not expect to be seeing constant temps in the high 30's to low 40's... Geo wife got to see her first live black snake on the road in Australia, and I almost stood on a 5 foot brown snake at one cache on the HCRT, and a red back spider at another.
Stayed at some nice FREE camp sites along the way and a couple of caravan parks as well, learned a lot of things along the way, history and more, but in all a great adventure and we were able to clock up our 1000th find along the way ..
thanks to the CO for this cache, We think today that this should have been called cicada park, no mozzies..

Love a good climb!
Believe it or not, this isn't the hardest or highest I've done today, for a cache!
I was a bit cautios of a few of this holds, I dare say they will be unsafe at some point. Still plenty of solid ones around, if you're as tall as I am.

We tried to find some koala in the trees, but all we could find were two tubes with a logbook. The climbing was very fun and a good sport. Thanks for hiding and greetings from germany.

Found with Captain Tomato and Tank Engine on our way from Canberra to Melbourne No Mozzies today but took the oldest member of our group to find it. TFTC
Captian Tomato did the honors for this one - while we directed from below!
Oddly there were two caches here! So we signed both!
Found with Captain Tomato and Mr Roo on our way from Canberra to Melbourne. Found 41 caches all up today. Usually used our sticker, but sometimes, if space was lacking we signed using our initials CT MR TE.
Thanks R16.

Got to GZ and looked and thought I'm way to vertically challenged not to mention too old to be climbing up trees. I'll return with my 6 ft3inch son.
This was such a fun cache! I have to say a few things...
a) i'm very glad i had the right tree - when i got up there i still had my fingers crossed
b) i was very happy to see a pencil in the cache because mine had evaporated somewhere between this cache and the previous!
c) i can't believe the muggle with the dogs didn't see me while i was up there!
d) I was so stealthy getting out of the tree without her noticing when she was about 10m from it
e) the river and the area are lovely
Thanks for the cache royds16

As I acted like Jack and the beanstalk I heard the cry from below GOT IT! The terrain difficultysaid it shouldn't be low but high. While tash looked at the log I found another one tucked away. Signed both logs and retuned them to there lofty perch. No such problems with the mozzies today. TFTC royds16.
We had attempted this one a while back, but didn't have the equipment (or climbing prowess) to grab it. Today with Happy pants the boys were able to get up to the hide. But not before finding another cache in the tree at a much more accessible level. We grabbed that one, signed both logs and put both caches in the hiding spot that matches the terrain difficulty. If you want to change this, you might want to do some maintenance on the hide. Thanks for the challenge.
We saw people searching, thinking they were fellow cachers we said hi to find they were muggles looking for bugs!!

Found whilst the other half attempted unsuccessfully to find fish. Thanks for the entertainment.
Another one for the day.
Walked to the spot and saw it straight away, took a little longer to work out how to fetch it.
All good in the end, had more trouble getting it back home again.

Geo kids went off into park before I'd put co-ords into GPS. We had read the clue and off they went.... Then spotted and retrieved. Needed to lift geo kid to reach. Met another cacher in way out. Good to know there are more weird people around looking for plastic boxes in the bush .
Found this one at the start of my second day of the journey north. It happened to be the closest cache to where I had stayed and so went to get it. Luckily it didn't require extra equipment to get this cache. Signed log but didn't swap anything and returned the cache a bit further into hidey hole.
Thanks for the cache royds16.

Very funny!! Staring straight at us and we still didn't find it for another 5min. Great Cache
Found this on a geocache hunting trip with gracie80, johncenalk, and prishi
13th April 2013 @ 5:09pm.
Ok, now what do I say about this without giving the hide away. Well we had plenty of laughs trying to retrieve this and put it back...not sure about the one star difficulty because it required piggy backing, and being hoisted up *lol*...might have been easier if we weren't laughing.
Only drama was that the cache kept getting deeper making it extremely awkward to retrieve. On placing it back..we put a little bit of bark behind it so that it wouldn't get stuck.
Good hide...had a lot of fun with it ...but good luck if you are one person trying to retrieve it.

I hope we returned this one to its proper spot. It did seem ambitious to seek out such a high terrain rating in the dark, I was about to give up & return to the car when bikerbuddy found the cache by sheer accident.
We signed the log and returned the container to somewhere that looked reasonable, given the hints & the rating.
Thanks

We had just found the nearby "Ogre" cache and decided we would spend time to walk down to this one, despite the terrain rating and the dark. When we got there I realised what the terrain rating was about and began to wonder how high the cache might be. I checked about and tried a few ways, but wondered if it was sensible. Then I stepped back to consider my options and realised that the cache was on the ground. We signed it and returned it to what seemed a likely place based upon the information given in the cache notes. Hope we got it right. Thanks

One of many caches throughout of Easter Long Weekend trip up the Kiewa Valley and the Victorian High Country.
All Were Great Caches, Thanks to all for giving us a reason to travel and taking us to some unique places up in the amazing Victorian high country.
I would recomend to anyone and everyone to travel and let the caches guide you thoughout the mountains.
At time of Caching I Was Know As "adrian.robinson" / "ar", Due To Facebook Automatic Naming and now known as "VicMap", Much shorter and easier to write.

What a nice place to have lunch and break the trip, between Wodonga and Yarra Glen. It is Good Friday and there was no muggles a great opportunity for doing this cache. It took a little effort but junior geokid soon had cache in hand, only supporting some grazed knees, with some help from geo dad. Thanks royds16 FTC.
A new group of cachers on our first day of caching in Seymour. We had a ladder for this one but still could not find it. One of our members has found it before so we were looking in the correct place. May have been muggled!

Had some time to spare on the drive to Nagambie tonight so decided to tackle this one on the way up. On approach to GZ realized how this one would be done. After a small amount of effort the cache was in hand, but then a 2nd one too just a little higher. I sign both as not sure which one was the cache. There were no muggles seen during the effort and only one appeared as I was heading back to the car, nice TFTC royds16.

Back in town for a day of work, and decided that this one should finally be dealt with.
It was a excellent way to stretch out after spending an hour in the car, and for that I am grateful.
An old man pulled up right next to me and for a moment I feared he's sit at the table, but luckily he headed down the track towards the river. Once he was out of sight I clambered up and grabbed the cache.

Yet another trip to Melbourne and another chance to tick off a few more caches.
I've been here a number of times but been thwarted by muggles using the nearby table. Today we arrived to find a cuple of muggles just sitting down for their (very late) lunch. Bugger.
We drove into town for a short while then returned. They had gone but had left their lunch rubbish on the table, less than 3m from a rubbish bin. Lazy, inconsiderate so and so's.[:(!][:(!][:(!]
Having someone with me made this cache just a bit easier and I can now tick it off my to do list.
Thank you royds16.

Today Crusty K9 and I rode to Nagambie on the sidecar outfit. We picked up this one along the way. That's strange as I was expecting it to be up high, but I found it low, but nicely covered, at about 1100. tftc.

Found the cache out in the open. Have placed it at the base of the tree in a niche hopefully out of obvious view
The team of Geo_Eddie and Dad found ourselves with 3 hours to kill while the better half of McAdies was at her sisters baby shower. We did a mini tour of the area finding a few caches along the way.
A beautiful afternoon to spent with my son geocaching.
Spotted quickly once at GZ and managed to just reach it.
Thanks for the cache.

Fortunately Geohubby is tall so no problem. This is our second attempt as last time muggles were picnicking too close to the tree. Park empty today.
Has to be a dnf today but I could see it in its hiding spot, was just about to have a crack but two fishermen walked up from the river. Will be back with some legs.
I found where it was, and could even touch it, but my fingers just weren't long enough. Then muggles came. Oh well.
This cache was the start of my run home today.. I thought I'd been muggled out here as on arrival there was a large family enjoying the facilities and they looked set to stay the night.. However after a walk to the ogre and back they were packing up and I soon had the park to myself.. this is a requiried cache in my next caching challenge.. Thanks Royds16 for the cache.. This was one of about 12 or 13 for the day which took in quite a bit of driving and even some 4x4ing.. and Find #3253
No mozzies today but a large chorus of cicadas in full voice. Found the cache easily enough but quite a challenge for me to retrieve it. Managed to do it in the end. Tftc
