Today I joined forces with chamad and geopup to collect some caches in 2 LGAs for a couple of challenges and to enjoy this beautiful part of our country.A quick find here, log signed, cache replaced as found. Thanks TooDogs for the cache.
Today was a fun caching day with Willis007 and geodog bella. The plan was to grab a few target caches around the scenic rim area and then continue to head off to the northern rivers area and grab a few numbers. With just a few on the list, it was easy to fill the day in further with a few extra caches as we passed by. The run for the target caches were for challenge caches in Brisbane that willis007 was working on. For me it was a nice day for a drive and a couple of interesting caches to collect along the way. While there was no pressure for the day's outing, we still managed to grab a few interesting caches and a nice tally for the day. We signed all logs and returned caches as we found them.It is a very interesting area around here and I enjoy just driving around and the views, awesome.Thank you for placing the cache here and bringing me to this area.
A lovely drive around the country roads today finding caches and this is one we found. Log signed and replaced as found thanks TooDogs for another one.

We decided on an AL guided trip this afternoon, chasing town halls through the Tweed, in an area we had never explored. The road closure between Tyalgum and Uki stopped us and we had to backtrack, but had a good time, 3 ALs and 10 other finds.
Today turned out to be a lolly bag run, these have been fun finds with helpful hints and good parking, cheers!
Clinkers.... not my bag I'm afraid..... this cache is OK though.... TFTC!

Found today while doing the AL around this area, found about 10 caches on our trip and also 3 adventure lab points, we will be back soon to complete the AL as we didn't have time today! Really nice area, from low-lying creeks to 1000+ metre mountains!

It’s a strange day today… we dropped our dog at the Ekka this morning at 6:30… we can’t even watch… so to take our mind off the drama of the Ekka Dog Show, Blkthunder and I are caching through the Tweed Valley…
The vague plan was to work our way from Murwillumbah to Tyalgum along Tyalgum Road… that fell apart when I came across a road closed…
Was expecting one thing, but the hint set us straight… it’s all about that house… that and the fact I don’t mind the odd clinker or two…

Morpork is the half of Ankh-Morpork widdershins of the river Ankh.
It is not necessary to say "downtown Ankh-Morpork". Morpork is downtown. It's down in every category known to sociology and political economy, down geographically, financially, aesthetically and morally.

The log had been jammed in and was full so we added a new log. Thanks for the cache
Thank you for this quick park and grab with Shaniahill20 but unfortunately it was drenched and wet inside the cache, we weren't able to sign the log
Easy find with @NikkiRB but it was really wet we couldn't write our names on it.
Murwillumbah Day 2
Our caching companions today were the Snakepitters, We planned a circular route that took us out along farming country side, with amazing mountain views, & flowing creek beds.
It was a good day out with some great cache hides in some wonderful locations
Thankyou TooDogs for placing this cache.

We thought that we would have a nice easy day today, and decided that this FTF Hound trail would be a nice mornings work. After a quick ALDI shop for the Saturday camping/caravanning specials off we A wet day today, out with DiMorgan picking up a few caches around the greater Murwullimbah area.

After spending the day with the cousin in Tyalgum, I felt like I needed to get at least some caching in while in the area and went for an hour long caching mission to find 12 caches and see more of the pretty area and sunset views.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you TooDogs for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Another trip south of the border to finish off an Adventure Lab and to catch some smiles. Make a list of the caches, print out some new border passes, pack the hand sanitizer, hoh hum!
another quick cache on the way. TFTC TooDogs

Nice quick one. Unfortunately I broke my pen while changing to go swimming at a water hole earlier...nowhere to stop and buy a new one out here.
Found at 10:18 AM GAFF1.
Now that was nearly a perfect park and grab
Thanks TooDogs.

Hey there Toodogs, it's been too long mate! I was out this way and grabbed a couple of your caches that I had yet to find. This one was nice and easy! Hope you're doing well mate!
Was pleased to find that this wasn't the ubiquitous Nano we often find on these kinds of spots. Nice views from the properties around here although might be somewhat exposed during storm season. Tftc
My wife is liking your lollies so far, the bag is getting full. Thanks for this one
Having set up camp at the Murwillumbah showgrounds we were off and running to explore as much of this beautiful area as possible. We were not disappointed gorgeous scenery at every turn and a great variety of hides and containers. And as well as all that we saw Black Cockatoos and discovered how good frozen chocolate covered bananas were, how lucky are we. Thankyou TooDogs for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Easy find while driving in the Tweed
Thanks

Had a spare couple of hours and so thought I would try and find a few of the caches around Tyalgum - the lolly bag seems to not be regularly maintained so they may not be available next time I am up this way so I thought I would get a few today. Only tried for the ones that didn’t have recent DNFs so it was a pretty successful day.
Another quick find - Spotted from across the road. Surprised this one had lasted as long as it has - TFTC

Tftc. Of course I checked first the nearby object to found it empty. After that I read the hint and after a while my name was added to logbook.
I went on a mini tour of Chillingham, Tyalgum and Murwillumbah today and enjoyed the beautiful views.
More amazing views here. A quick and easy find here.

Out with geomum, Mr and Mrs RoddyC and Team Benders. Geomum was a bit worried when one of my caching buddies reached for the cache. She was surprised that it was hidden there. We added our names to the log, rehid the cache and continued on our way. TFTC
Today we decided to tackle some caches we had heard about around Murwillumbah area, so I selected caches along The Lolly Bag Loop and suggested to Selva Girls (and her GeoMum) and Team Benders that we join forces for the day and escape the city and head for the country. We had a great time and collected 27 Smileys.
Nice quick park and grab - we cold see the cache driving down the road! Love it! [:o)]
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 2.00pm on 7th March 2017. TFTC, TooDogs.

On a lovely day out with RoddyC and Selva Girls doing the lolly loop and others.
I can recall clinkers and had a few of those.
We parked nearby and the cache was located and retrieved.
Signed the log and returned to where it was found.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks TooDogs All good with this cache

A very peaceful spot.
Cache was easily located with the assistance of the clue.
Purple would love clinkers more if they came in colour separated bags (like lots of lollies 'should').
During this 'lolly bag' loop Purple discovered a very dark sad secret about Darkness : he was deprived of lollies and can't even recall eating some of the ones we have visited today .... like ever. How does this happen in Australia??????

Nice and quiet around here and no chanting (I'm staying in Hippyville - Krisna Village). TFTC.
Out and about with DanteMc today for a little caching.
This one was missing the last time I was here.
A quick find on our way back.
Thanks for the cache.

Out geocaching with geoson King-Fisher 8 for the day. Beautiful area and awesome weather. TFTC
Hadn't seen my bestie in a long time we decided to do something different today. She had been exposed to caching but hadn't really gotten involved. After today's exploits, I think she is now hooked.
Living close to the Lolly Bag Loop helped as we just navigated our way from her place.
Found this one with a quick search. Hint was spot on. By now bestie is making most of the finds. Excellent!!!! Converting another muggle. Hehe.

What do you do on a day when it's pouring rain in sunny QLD?
Go caching in Northern NSW (where it's also bucketing down) of course!
YES!
Looks like the curse has been lifted.
Thank you TooDogs & the caching gods! LOL ...
A nice quick park & grab after the frustrating DNF at the last cache.
Signed the log & replaced as found.
