Heading south and homewards to Sydney after a short casual geocaching visit to the Mid North Coast. A little challenging to get to GZ when travelling south but the favourite points and the step 001 of this lengthy power trail attracted us. GZ was unsurprisingly muggle-free. The container is safe but there was water inside and the log a little damp. We dried everything as best we could. TN L a little bumblebee SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Two swiss guys on our Australian trip . After travelled from Darwin to Perth over the GRR, now on the Eastcoast .Starting from Cairns, Port Douglas, Airlie Beach, Platybus Camp and Bush Camp Broken River, Graignesh, Maryborough, South Nanango, Noosa, Brisbane, Grafton, Sout West Rocks and now somewhere on the road to Sydney .Today there was sun .There was a exit on the motorway so we headed for this one .The logbook is wet!!!TFTC# 18'128
Find#2585Have been planning a trip up to Kempsey to have a look at the slim dusty series. After my birthday yesterday I wanted to grab these caches with Shaneo58 today. Log and cache in great condition TFTC
28/06/24This is find number: 9788Streak Day: 3116In the area this week and had some time to come out and find some of this series today. Found with Snoopy1976 and ws_cachers.Thanks to Mid North Coast Mob for placing and maintaining this cache.TFTC
A quick diversion off the highway. No time to complete the trail, but was nice to find one. Rescued a travel tag that is going rusty as container was a bit damp.
We made a quick stop on our way north. A huge day of driving from Sydney to Red Rock (but caching along the way) meant we were here at night, and in the rain. It was a bit freaky actually, as it was very dark. I shined the car lights on the geohub as he made his way into the long grass. It was enough for him to make the find. Then to reverse blindly and turn the car around.. all in the name of a find
On the hunting trail with pprass on a maintenance expedition. Quick find here with some general maintenance carried out. A fav point given for the caches past history. Another great day for caching. TFTC Mid North Coast Mob
Easy find cache in good order.Tftc Paul and Lou travelling with Savannah from The Blue Mountains NSW.
Wow looks like a great trail from the description but today were only passing through so just stopped for the park and grab. Thanks!
On our way to Lismore to attend a funeral, a long drive. Stayed in Campbelltown last night. Up early this morning, and back on the road.Detoured off the highway to collect this one, didn't have time to complete the whole series, maybe next time. Picked up TB TFTC!
After doing a few of this series yesterday, we decided to pack lunch, and make a day of it. Left the CP very early this morning to start, big day ahead, finding . There were no black bags in the container Going to add a to this one for the series. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Day 11. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip. After managing to catch up with posums in Taree yesterday, it was off further north towards Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.Hit 001 but wont be grabbing the rest on this trip. This one fills a well travelled cacher spot! Thanks Mid North Coast Mob for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The 12 Days of Cachemas series is now live. Last night we camped overnight at a Hipcamp nearby at Johns River (highly recommend anyone to stay there if they’re looking for a place to stay whilst caching the series). I don’t have time to do the whole series, only have time to stop for one close by the highway, but happy that there’s a container big enough to drop a trackable in which I picked up in Bali, it’s from the Netherlands. TFTC!
Logged as GR8 for the Geocaching Retreat 8 cachers.
We had time for a quick group before heading back to our accommodation. This was the meeting place to discuss the plan of the first 9.

A GR8 adventure with seven other GR8 geo-mates, during our King’s Birthday Long Weekend Geocaching Retreat, as we drive the Mid North Coast Wander. Such beautiful country up here. What an effort to keep this series going for us to enjoy. Thank you to all involved.
I found this one and only MNCW cache back in 2019 so just marking my visit today with the team.

Great day out working with the team from Sydney (signed as GR8) working on this series. It’s been a long time coming to find these caches and I appreciate the effort of placers and CO for keeping these caches going.
Driving up the coast today and grabbing a few caches along the way. This is a nice one - easy, decent sized container, and yet almost zero chance of being found by accident!
Signed the log and returned to its hiding position.
Thanks!

Though I currently live in the United States, I am here visiting relatives on this continent. After longer stops in South Australia and Queensland, I am currently driving between Brisbane and Sydney via Armidale. And every now and then I stop to look for stuff. No problems finding this. The container, however, is cracked, which explains why everything inside is very wet. I signed the log though and took a travel bug. TFTC!
Found easily. Not too far off the highway and able to pull off to the side of the dirt road about 25m from cache. Log was damp but able to sign. Left a TB behind to start its next adventure. TFTC.
#4097 A fairly quick find, heading north from Canberra. Cache slightly wet but i drained what i could. Thanks for the series.

There is a challenge that we are both attempting to fulfill and this one fills a gap. Thank you for the cache, bringing us here and getting us one cache closer to completing our challenge.
YAY. Another gap on a 1,000km challenge that we are both attempting to fulfill. Thanks for the cache.
#6962 Day 2 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. After one day this has provided an interesting selection. There were a few showers about today and the wet weather gear had to come out.

On this long weekend we started the Mid North Coast Wander series. We did only 47 caches in Middle brother NP and Coopernook state forest because of some car issues but we will be back to finish the series. We really enjoyed the track with some nice lookouts.
Thanks Mid North Coast Mob to bring us on this track and all the interesting place. +1FP
