We are staying on the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Out grabbing a few more in this series, around this lovely bush area, while we are staying nearby and enjoying a drive.
The container was found after a short search, once at GZ.
Thanks Mid North Coast Mob for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Great day out working with the team from Sydney (signed as GR8) working on this series. It’s been a long time coming to find these caches and I appreciate the effort of placers and CO for keeping these caches going.

A GR8 adventure with seven other GR8 geo-mates, during our King’s Birthday Long Weekend Geocaching Retreat, as we drive the Mid North Coast Wander. Such beautiful country up here. What an effort to keep this series going for us to enjoy. Thank you to all involved.

Found with our GR8 mates on our King's Long Weekend adventure to the Mid-North Coast.
After thinking we were finished for the day, it was off for "just one more". Actually, it was just nine more!
Another one found in the dark. TFTC

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Changing accommodation today so we decided to grab some caches and see the bird tree and show the rest of the family the view from No.7 Middle Brother before we could check in. Then it was off to find lunch and a park. TFTC
Thought we would try and find one of the Brothers on our way back home from a day at Port Macquarie. Instead, we found this cache. Thanks MNCB
I try and get more of this series done each time I visit Port Macquarie. Thanks for the amazing effort that goes into creating and maintaining this trail.
Thanks for a fantastic series showing a beautiful part of the country. TFTC

On this long weekend we started the Mid North Coast Wander series. We did only 47 caches in Middle brother NP and Coopernook state forest because of some car issues but we will be back to finish the series. We really enjoyed the track with some nice lookouts.
Thanks Mid North Coast Mob to bring us on this track and all the interesting place.

Found with Key_Tat and Viper_101... sent the geo-kids to look for this one... winter is much better for caching... less snakes. TFTC.

No problem in finding this cache. It was in the typical style of many cache hides, so we could make the grab without an extensive search. I replaced it exactly as found and then had to make the decision that we would have to abandon the rest of the hunt along this trail only because we were really running out of time. I will definitely be back to explore this area more. Perhaps even make a long weekend of it and camp somewhere, as suggested. And we'll perhaps choose a cooler time of year when hopefully there are fewer mosquitoes about.
Great fun was had finding the first four caches; the rest will have to wait for another time ... I will be back, eventually!

We spotted a likely spot from the car and upon further inspection, the cache was located in plain sight.
After signing log, we rehid the cache a little better.
Thanks for the cache

We started this series back to front from our earlier base in Wauchope, and now that we have moved on to stay in the Kendall Showgrounds we decided that it was time to start at the beginning. A scenic drive is a great way to explore bits of the countryside we wouldn't otherwise have visited, and it's great to pick up caches as we go.
Nice SPOR! Makes for a quick find at the corner.
Off to a great start as we work our way up the hill.

Out for a family caching day to boost our numbers. Started with brunch at bent on food then off we go. Checked the obvious spot and bingo!
#3928 (4 of 25 today)
First full day of my short trip to Port Macquarie. This is my opportunity to grab a stash of caches all day while the Geowife does her crafty things.
Found 25 including the first eight of the Mid North Coast Wander (was only willing to push the non-4WD mugglemobile so far) and a selection of other caches in around Port.
Actually beat her back to the motel by 10 minutes - and she had the key! Then out for dinner at Flynn's Beach.
A good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Had to park a bit short of GZ which really stood out like a sore thumb! Well it's a different hide from the first three.
Made the grab and completed signing duties, replaced, and off to the next one. Road surprisingly good still.

Found it on a drizzly Wednesday while in the area and hoping to finish this series. From caches 1 to 12 I didn't see another car. And sometime past that I picked up a leech (unknowingly), still bleeding after 4 hours. Thanks to all the people who set this series up and maintain it so well. Check the obvious spot . TFTC
We are so close to 1000 caches so we wanted to grab quite a few today.
TFTC!!!!

Tftc. Our fourth find this morning in this series. Left some shells, tnsl and went about our way.

On the homeward leg now, after spending the weekend Mid North Coast wandering and camping at Diamond Head. Yesterday we ran out of time to get MNCW 001-009 done, so planned a diversion from the highway on the way home. Little did we know at that time that a much bigger diversion was in store....
Thanks for keeping this trail great.
The first muggles of the trip through here, a group of bikers traversing through. We wondered why one at stopped, but he kept going when his mates caught up.

We found 22 caches in the Mid North Coast on our way home from Diamond Head today. TFTC!!
So now we enter the National Park, found this one fairly quickly, so much easier with two sets of eyes . Found in a joint effort with Alison T
Cannot believe this one gave me grief, I looked at the right spot straight away, just did not see it, so search a lot of other places before deciding to look properly.
Very nice area but sometimes i had some problems with my camper but i enjoyed the trip.
3 1/2 years after doing the coastal portion I though it was time I finished the mountain section of this Mid North Coast Wander.
Some neat hides, great views and areas to explore.
Some pretty rough tracks in places and even the odd mud hole to contend with.
