Cache is there as per clue, but container has perished and needs replacement of container and contents.
We started the “Mid North Coast Wander” series few months ago (47 caches found). This long weekend was the perfect timing to finish it.
This series was a bit challenging because of the 200 caches but it gave us a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owner for this amazing job. You bring us through Coorabakh NP and Lansdowne State Forest and all these lookout and interesting points. Then we crossed the road to drive along the coast and enjoyed all the view points!
We found 147 caches and 6 DNF mostly because of muggler on this busy long wkd. All the coordinates were very accurate and with the hint it was easy to find all of them.
At GZ quick found. We signed the log book and then replaced as found.

Yippee #9 left a couple more items, took nothing. These caches are looking a little bare
We found this one while passing through the town. Cache is in good condition, TFTC!
Found tyftc. Having a week caching our way from newcastle to brisbane. Find #1/1564
We have been told about this Mid North Coast Wander and so having arrived in Harrington last night we set off on the trail today. It was a beautiful sunny day and we very much enjoyed the drive and the scenery. We got to see a few Wallabys and a good number of bird species. It was also exceedingly windy - in fact the sound of the wind through the tall trees especially at the high points was so loud we had to shout at each other to be heard! Many thanks to the CO for having provided us with the opportunity to enjoy another great day out geocaching. We soon spotted the size small cache sistema but it was empty and not left as per the clue, and so we added a log sheet and replaced in the obvious clue item. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Not only grabbed the cache also grabbed a few pics of the young cattle across the road

It's time for another assault on the Wander Ugh, the container has been taken over by ants . We shooed them off and signed the log before replacing and leaving the ants to start all over again; TFTC
Down in this neck of the woods to make an assault on the MNC Wander. Log signed as Team BADJ to save space.
We begin our assualt on this series, nice quick find and we signed as BADJ. TFTC - sorry for the generic logs.
I have this one marked on my cache notes as being replaced, and also put in a new log coz the other one was sodden. Cache found and new log signed.
What a wonderful series this is that takes you from cache to cache through beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time finding these geocaches and finding many wonderful scenes, wildlife, birds, and peaceful country roads. We've cached today as Team BADJ for Bobbiesgirl, Aussie Liahona, DiamonJs and JooJoo57, to mostly save log space for the many geocachers who will come to the area.
Many thanks to the Mid North Coast Mob. Sorry for the generic logs for the most part, but it's a lot of caches to log even though we weren't able to finish the series due to log trucks advising us to go no further. Hopefully we'll be able to find more of the caches and finish the series at another time.
Cheers and happy caching!

Down in the area to have a try at the MNC Wander Series. Signed the log as Team BADJ. Thank you for putting out this trail - it certainly showed us many aspects of the mid North Coast area. Apologies for the generic logs.
Container lid broken. Found on a cold dark night under a blanket of a million stars! TFTCSL
So I thought why not stop and have lunch at the shop and had a good chat with the lady there, then walked around the corner with my sausage roll to find this cache.TFTC

Finds #2059-2069
This weekend will be our 6th or 7th slice of the MNCW pie.... we were headed to Diamond Head, with a quick trip up to Waitui on the way to grab that last stretch of caches we just never seemed to have the time for. We cruised through the Fords Rd section first before heading up through Waitui, managing a clean sweep of the 11 remaining, with just one 'near-DNF'.....
We overshot this on the way in, grabbed it on the way back. Cheeky spot, I felt more exposed here I think than any cache, let alone any on the MNCW.... Container is broken.

Quick find here however some maintenance is required, the container has a cracked lid and the logbook is very wet.

Hannam Vale is pumping today with the open gardens. Grabbed this and a few others while touring around. Lots of traffic today though. Tftc.
We started this series back to front from our earlier base in Wauchope, and now that we have moved on to stay in the Kendall Showgrounds we decided that it was time to start at the beginning. A scenic drive is a great way to explore bits of the countryside we wouldn't otherwise have visited, and it's great to pick up caches as we go.
A "blink and you'll miss it" town. Very similar to places we have lived in the past.

Found it on a drizzly Wednesday while in the area and hoping to finish this series. From caches 1 to 12 I didn't see another car. And sometime past that I picked up a leech (unknowingly), still bleeding after 4 hours. Thanks to all the people who set this series up and maintain it so well. I think there was somebody in the hall when I retrieved the cache. TFTC
We are so close to 1000 caches so we wanted to grab quite a few today.
We only ended up finding 28 today. Rick had had enough at this point and wanted to call stumps. I personally could have kept going. I was a bit tired but I was really enjoying the scenery and the caches. I think we have a heap on new scratches on the car, but at least they are Rick fault this time as he was doing the driving.
TFTC!!!! And thank you for bringing us to this lovely area.

A glance at the heatwave in the weather report led us to driving up the coast and enjoying some time in the air conditioned car! Roughly 50 caches today and not a single DNF. Thanks to all COs.
Decided to test the work Camry out and drive the entire forest circuit. Not my smartest effort but the trusty steed did well. Enjoyed the views along the way too.
The kids found this one, and were pleased for a chance to show off their hunting skills. TNLN TFTC

It was at this point, we stopped, it was raining, I wanted real coffee, so we parked across from the Hannam store and in we went, food, coffee was acquired and we sat out the front, chilling watching the teacher across the road, do what only appeared to be washing the rain water off the concrete with tap water and a broom.
Great coffee, great wedges, relaxing for half an hour, averages be damned.
The, a quick drive around the corner for an easy find.

3 1/2 years after doing the coastal portion I though it was time I finished the mountain section of this Mid North Coast Wander.
Some neat hides, great views and areas to explore.
Some pretty rough tracks in places and even the odd mud hole to contend with.

TFTC, I will use a generic log for this series and go into more detail at the final mystery cache. Attempting this long and looks like amazing series in stages and in no particular order. Should be fun.
I can't believe I've drove past this thousands of times and never found it before!
Day 1 of a 2 day trip away with Seemyshell to Harrington area to do the MNCW.
What a brilliant trail..... it's like 3 trails in one with all of the different sections; mountain, ocean, bush. Love it! Thanks for all of the effort involved in setting this out and maintaining the trail so well.

TFTC great series. Arrived and found GZ, could see cache but were hesitant to collect it due to group function also at GZ. One of the group members picked up cache and sang out if we were looking for it. Had a quick chat and signed log then continued for more caches. Turns out most locals know of its location.
What a lovely little town! So quiet, well until our geokids were out running around - boy they are loud!
Decided we wouldn't keep heading back into the forest from here, as at some point we do have to go home - after all it is a school day tomorrow
Will be a nice place to start from when we return!
Found in the company of Ozglory.
Thanks for going to the effort of this series

Found this cache today with Gazkersh and Tilly. Spotted it's likely home on approach in the car. Cute and enjoyable cache. Soon signed log. Thanks MNCM for bringing us here, especially because there was a super sweet café nearby and we got to have a nice cool drink on a really hot afternoon. They're hiring too btw if anyone needs a job
Me and champ (boxer pup) decided to put a dent in this series today. Great country side
Today was a day to put in an all out effort to find may more of this series. It was a successful run and we were able to add many more smileys to the map. TFTC.
Eek! It was here I discovered I had 2 leeches on my leg!!! Probably found me up in the mountain somewhere!
This was day 2 of our Wandering tour with still a lot of caches to find. The cache is quite visible from the road but seems to be OK. Thanks for another great hide, we loved the drive over the Middle Brother and back to Hannam Vale.

12:05 The most recent East Coast Low dumped flooding rains over the last couple of days, accompanied by high winds. This meant that the planned day out caching on the MNCW (and to check some of the caches we'd laid out on this great trail) was in jeopardy. But, no, the day stayed pleasantly dry and mostly sunny so we had a nice cruise around. The creeks were all busy though. Thanks to all the local cachers who laid out this trail. TFTC
Found on a windy Sunday wander around Middle Brother Mountain. What a scenic part of the series this is. Loved driving through the amazing forest, looking at giant trees and miniature waterfalls. Thank you so much to all involved for bringing us here.
What a pleasant little town! Loved driving along the roads and getting a wave off everyone we passed!! We definitely miss that, being country kids who now live in the big city. Little bit surprised this cache doesn't get muggled.... it is extremely exposed - but then maybe its such a small place that everyone knows its there!
Decided to call it a day with this find. Back to work for the week and more caching next weekend!

It was the 3rd day of our holiday in Port Macquarie and with the forecast being for a cold, wet and windy day, we thought it would be spent visiting some nearby wineries and boutique breweries. We awoke however to a beautiful sunny morning, so instantly our plans for the day changed to tackle the Mid North Coast Wander power trail. We managed to average about 10 finds per hour with a total of 70 found for the day ... looks like we will have a few more days ahead of us to complete the series We had an enjoyable day out with some interesting finds and places to see.

Found by Mary & David, in company with baby&Mrs gopher, at 1225. What a day of wonderful scenery, great caches, and breathtaking views. Headed down the wrong road, but saw the toilet bowl letter box. Cache was openly visible, but baby added some camo. Our thanks to Mid North Coast Mob.
