Logs
We found it easy with a nice little walk. We accidentally logged a different one. Oops
Out and about with tassietan for a caching day to get the latest souvenir. We love being introduced to these areas we wouldn't know about apart from caching.A nice spot. Had a lovely encounter with a greyhound whilst sitting and signing the log. Thanks for the cache Goldj.
RoadieM and i are having a geo day along the Derwent in an endeavour to find 12 caches for the latest souvenir. As we were wandering along this lovely walking path I commented how great the city is (and yes, we still include this area as city) for its myriad of walking tracks. RoadieM made the find while I perused a lovely rock on the waters edge. We patted a friendly greyhound and chatted to its owner after our mission was done. Thanks for bringing us here Goldj.
Thank you for placing this cache. Not the best of days to be doing it on with the bad winds, but its a stretch of the legs regardless
VK7HCH and I were going to go into the Risdon Brook Dam area and find some caches, but today was very windy and the park was closed. We decided on finding a couple of caches up the river and that continued all the way to Tongatabu Rd. We even got out the electric powered cache mobiles. We then turned our attention to the Highway series along Elderslie Rd, picking up Camel Views along the way.In all, I found 16 caches and had a couple of DNFs while HCH found a few more before we parted ways for the day. Thanks for all the finds today.
Found without difficulty. Arrived in Hobart today for a bucks weekend and see GZ is close to our lodgings. Too easy to pass up.TFTC.
Found but the container might need some TLC. Popped it back as best as we could. Tftc
Found with mugger friend. Possibly a convert. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
A lovely spot for lunch. Log was full. Had a piece of rite as rain paper in my bag. So popped it in there alongside my name. TFTC
We’ve sat here many times before we started caching and never noticed this! Thanks Goldj.
The coolest thing about geocaching is finding cool spots you've driven past a thousand times and didn't know they were there! TFTC
Our first attempt at locating a geocache so we may just be looking for the wrong thing? Searched this area…
What a beautiful spot! We’ll be back here for a picnic one day I think we’ve fallen in love with Old Beach. Thanks for the cache
My second quick find out the day.
Not the best weather for a walk, but I wanted to get out and about

I love this area and the chance to both look across the river AND peek at the beautiful homes nearby. Got to GZ with a reluctant Miss3B who by now was running around and discounted the first choice of location. However I was attracted to the seating area and shortly after had the cache in hand. Miss3B then raced me back to the car where we watched the turbo chooks and bunnies in the sand.
Thank you for bringing me to the area! TFTC

Logging this today, but found a few weeks ago. This was actually our third attempt to sign the log. Found once, but forgot a pen. Our second attempt, and the pen didn't work. Third time lucky. Found with Puglumps. TFTC.
Third time lucky. Found this cache with Whypie a couple of weeks ago. We found it a couple of months ago but we didn't have a pen, second time the pen was out of ink, so on the third attempt we were able to sign the log. Great spot. Watch out for muggles. Tftc
A great spot along the track with lovely river views. Co-ordinates were spot on and it was a good hide. The history of Old Beach was really interesting. Lots of big, fat rabbits around as a bonus.
My 3rd find for the day. This area has great views across the Derwent and of the mountains
A quick find in the 1st place i looked (that i do love [:x])
SL at 11:26 on Monday 26 April 2021.
Re-hid as found with stealth.

Parked up and made the nice walk along the river to this one, cache was easily found, such a nice spot here
Today I decided to head down to Hobart for the day and collect some targeted DT caches and some others in amongst them for the day, apart from the 30mins of rain the day was quite pleasant for caching.
All up 49 finds and 10 adventure finds.
Thanks for the cache

Great little path. Much nicer than writing on the highway. Thanks for putting a cache a pretty spot. TFTC
Apparently i had a DNF on this cache 4 years ago... no problems today. Needed a walk today (and a find).

Another quick walk and grab during a longer walk around Old Beach's hills and water side. Thank you for keeping this small one up!
Windy work at Old Beach this morning. Stirred a few dogs up as well. TFTC in good nick and accessible for travellers towing camper trailers
Never been along this foreshore before, but found the cache in a great place to sit and ponder life #TFTC
Hi GoldJ, thanks for the cache, and thanks for bringing me to a location that I've not visited before.
I was out and about this afternoon looking for virtual jewels as part of the Museum Mystery challenge. I found a virtual Emerald here.

Our first find! So exciting! We have caught the Geobug and are pumped to find more!
Thanks for the cache GoldJ. Have been meaning to do this series for ages, but have just never got around to it before today. Unfortunately, I've missed out on a couple recently archived. Anyway, out and about today with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP. Have not walked along this track before so thanks for bringing us here. Nice quick find at GZ, cheers.
Today we are in the area from Old Beach.
Here we wanted to catch some smilies on our map.
This cache was after a short search found and signed.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

Tassie Trip Day 108 - Today we decided that it was a quiet day however we needed to collect some caches and some groceries this was a short trip.
I made my way from the first one walking across the bad bridge was all ok but I didn't just took to the grass as the bad section and made the walk to #2 and as arriving the cache was noticed , so took a seat and signed the log.
Thanks GoldJ for bring us here.
