TftcHeaded back down to Diamond Head NP for a few more caches before the weekly forecast of bad weather comes along. A nice easy find as with most along this section after I took the wrong path. It was a nice walk along the beach to the right one. Cache #2

Thank you for the cache. There is a beautiful view of Crowdy Beach. A lovely part of the coast.
We are staying down the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Our son was visiting and took us for a run along the beach checking out the marine rescue rib that got wrecked yesterday after trying to rescue a beached larger boat. It was a great trip, even though the tide was coming in, which just added to the adventure. This was a quick find once at GZ.
Thanks Mid North Coast Mob for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Great day out working with the team from Sydney (signed as GR8) working on this series. It’s been a long time coming to find these caches and I appreciate the effort of placers and CO for keeping these caches going.

A GR8 adventure with seven other GR8 geo-mates, during our King’s Birthday Long Weekend Geocaching Retreat, as we drive the Mid North Coast Wander. Such beautiful country up here. What an effort to keep this series going for us to enjoy. Thank you to all involved.

Found with nissan65 on a day trip caching. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching.
Tftc, the track to the beach is closed to vehicles but not pedestrians. Lovely spot
Another of those "Which One?" A war of attrition here, and of course it was the furtherest one away. TFTC.
Staying at Indian Head for the weekend and couldn't resist grabbing a few of this series early. I guess that will just make it a bit quicker when we complete the full loop.
Nice clear trail off the main track but it clearly isn't for the creek not the cache as we overshot GZ while we weren't paying attention.

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
We started the “Mid North Coast Wander” series few months ago (47 caches found). This long weekend was the perfect timing to finish it.
This series was a bit challenging because of the 200 caches but it gave us a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owner for this amazing job. You bring us through Coorabakh NP and Lansdowne State Forest and all these lookout and interesting points. Then we crossed the road to drive along the coast and enjoyed all the view points!
We found 147 caches and 6 DNF mostly because of muggler on this busy long wkd. All the coordinates were very accurate and with the hint it was easy to find all of them.
At GZ quick found. We signed the log book and then replaced as found.

Today I was invited to join Tatt2squared, Key_tat and Viper_101 with a spot of geocaching. What started out as a plan to find 16 geocaches, ended up a 37 for myself, which included my 1000th find.
Took ages. I finally found it

After finding some local caches in and around Laurieton we made our way home via the coast road to find more of the MNC Wander series. Signed log as Team BADJ to save space.
We all admitted we loved this location and each took a couple of photos. Such a lovely spot to bring us to. I'd stepped on beyond GZ as it was hard to watch the GPS while stepping up and down and around and about. Fortunately 'me mate' right behind me made the find and all was good.
Found the cache and happily signed the log Team BADJ which stands for Bobbiesgirl, Aussie Liahona, DiamonJs and JooJoo57.
This is such a great wander around the area of the Mid North Coast. I have not spent a lot of time in this area and it has been great to see such a variety of coast and bush and beautiful scenery and country drives. Thanks for all the work in placing these caches Mid North Coast Mob that have drawn us and others to delight in your neck of the woods.
Cheers and happy caching!

I am enjoying these coastal MNCW, they are taking us to some nice views some ok places but it is good. TFTC
Down in the area to have a try at the MNC Wander Series. Signed the log as Team BADJ. Thank you for putting out this trail - it certainly showed us many aspects of the mid North Coast area. Apologies for the generic logs.
Success! A bit tricky at first, but then we solved a bit and found the geocache!
Today we travelled South to complete the Diamond Head section of the Mid North Coast Wander which we had been holding off until the weather was good and the holiday traffic had died down.
#18 for the day, a nice walk to GZ where we spotted a small brown snake sunbathing about 50cm from the cache, he/she soon took off and after a short search had cache in hand.

Great adventure - a bit closer to the beach than we thought, but we caught it!! Nice and dry and well hidden in the ledge
I took great pleasure in seeing that Rainbow Spirit had missed this and I can log it as a find. Thanks for an interesting find.
What an adventure this was: part one was the road, ( I took my teeth out, they were rattling too much...LOL...) the second part was the walk and the third, best of all, was the finding these caches today.....
Nice hide, easy to locate, only 25 feet maybe 30, OK a meter
Cache was in good shape and DRY! SL
Thanks for the hide, Mid North Coast Mob

Yesterday we spent around 9 hours exploring the hills searching out the first 100+ hides on this great series. We had some adventures (including navigating a roadblock for the forestry blokes), had to backtrack a number of times and managed to locate all but 3 of the caches we looked for. It was a great drive and took us through a diverse range of country. Today we have set out in the expectation of enjoying ourselves just as much, and adding lots more yellow smiley faces to our tally.
Ahh, we love a drive on the beach, but like the fishing that is not today's activity. There are caches to be found and puzzles to be solved, and not much time to do it in!
So we must stick to the chosen task. Mrs SKI again did well with this one.

We saw someone come out of the bush along here and thought they must have just found the cache. It was not to be as we are the first to log on the replacement log and cache placed here. They were obviously walking the track here, but it gave us a hint to get to this cache. It is well hidden but great hint to find the prize. TFTC

Spent a while looking for this Cache, found the likely hidey hole, but it was empty. Unfortunately, we think this Cache is gone. Thanks anyway
Whilst finding 174, with Anneofgreengables2 we actually found the cache / container which is labelled 173. Therefore finding two Caches. We have put the 174 cache in it's correct spot and returned to 173 GZ and put the container / Cache in it's correct spot. TNLN SL TFTC
