Found with nissan65 on a day trip caching. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching.
My husband and i are staying at Tuncurry for a week from Brisbane and i convinced him that this would be a lovely day going along the Mid North Coast Wander. We did have a terrific day and i focused on finding as many caches with off road attribute to qualify for GC9YTCA back in Brisbane which i only have 18 of the 100 needed in November. This holiday and especially this trail mean i am getting closer. Today we found 28 off road plus 10 others and in our Mazda 9 had no trouble with the roads. Lots of pot holes and a few big puddles ( one we got out of the car to see if it might be too deep , but no) . We left Tuncurry at 11 and got back at 5.30 and enjoyed every minute. Thanks for taking us to to places we would never have gone to without geocaching and all the trouble putting out the caches. They were all in great condition and the hints were great. Sorry about the copy and paste logs and will be giving out a few FP's along the way
Thank goodness! After a run of dnfs due to overgrown bush, my 8 y/o was starting to lose interest! TFTC

We started the “Mid North Coast Wander” series few months ago (47 caches found). This long weekend was the perfect timing to finish it.
This series was a bit challenging because of the 200 caches but it gave us a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owner for this amazing job. You bring us through Coorabakh NP and Lansdowne State Forest and all these lookout and interesting points. Then we crossed the road to drive along the coast and enjoyed all the view points!
We found 147 caches and 6 DNF mostly because of muggler on this busy long wkd. All the coordinates were very accurate and with the hint it was easy to find all of them.
At GZ quick found. We signed the log book and then replaced as found.

Today I was invited to join Tatt2squared, Key_tat and Viper_101 with a spot of geocaching. What started out as a plan to find 16 geocaches, ended up a 37 for myself, which included my 1000th find.
Key_tat found this one.

After finding some local caches in and around Laurieton we made our way home via the coast road to find more of the MNC Wander series. Signed log as Team BADJ to save space.
Loving these little walks and different locations for all these caches. They are taking us to some very interesting places.
Found the cache and happily signed the log Team BADJ which stands for Bobbiesgirl, Aussie Liahona, DiamonJs and JooJoo57.
This is such a great wander around the area of the Mid North Coast. I have not spent a lot of time in this area and it has been great to see such a variety of coast and bush and beautiful scenery and country drives. Thanks for all the work in placing these caches Mid North Coast Mob that have drawn us and others to delight in your neck of the woods.
Cheers and happy caching!

Down in the area to have a try at the MNC Wander Series. Signed the log as Team BADJ. Thank you for putting out this trail - it certainly showed us many aspects of the mid North Coast area. Apologies for the generic logs.
Today we travelled South to complete the Diamond Head section of the Mid North Coast Wander which we had been holding off until the weather was good and the holiday traffic had died down.
#17 for the day, a quick find in the obvious spot, everything in good shape.
Thanks for the cache Mid North Coast Mob

Heading north and detoured through Harrington and up to Laurieton to grab a few more caches on the MNCWT. Some areas had too many people camped while others had muggles too close to try, so those were left for another time. All caches were found easily enough with a few needing a bit of a clean up and a couple I rebagged. Once the log was signed all was returned as found.
A great series and well worth the detour.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Yesterday we spent around 9 hours exploring the hills searching out the first 100+ hides on this great series. We had some adventures (including navigating a roadblock for the forestry blokes), had to backtrack a number of times and managed to locate all but 3 of the caches we looked for. It was a great drive and took us through a diverse range of country. Today we have set out in the expectation of enjoying ourselves just as much, and adding lots more yellow smiley faces to our tally.
Mrs SKI is getting very confident now and is speculating correctly as we pull up where the hiding place will be.
Admittedly the coastal scrub is getting thinner, but hey she is good!

Found it on a very hot Tuesday while in the area and hoping to finish this series. We were here at Easter 2013 and found quite a lot (don't know the exact number) back then - mainly in the hinterland areas. Thanks to all the people who set this series up and maintain it so well. Another quick find by the side of the road. Good hint. TFTC
1:20:00 PM. I am going to post a generic log for the rest of the caches we did today. We loved the series and will be back to complete it one day. The caches took us to some great spots and a couple of places we will return to for a camp. Thanks for all the work. A lot of caches we just signed GT2 as a time saver. Thanks Mid North Coast Mob for placing this cache.
TFTC, I will use a generic log for this series and go into more detail at the final mystery cache. Attempting this long and looks like amazing series in stages and in no particular order. Should be fun.
Our second day in the Mid North this weekend - after a great time over the highway on the Mid North Coast Wander earlier on this year, we returned to tackle a stretch along the coast. We had a really enjoyable weekend, caching along the MNCW between Harrington and Diamond Head, with a few extras along the way too. We camped overnight at Diamond Head so we could have a good two days here this time. Thankfully the weather was great, in comparison to last weekend, when we had bookings to come - but an east coast low with forecast cyclonic conditions kept us at home. Tally for the weekend - 53 finds, 3 DNF. We only wish we had more time to more fully explore some of these great areas.
Thanks to the Mid North Coast Mob for maintaining this great trail - and a special emphasis on the spot on coordinates for every cache.
We should have read the cache names more closely, we really knew these by number only - the name gives it away better than the hint!

Found it today on our trip back from Diamond Head to Harrington, we've had fun caching the MNCW this weekend, and camped at Diamond Head last night, 53 finds all weekend! - TFTC Mid North Coast Mob.
Last one for the day as poor Mrs oz is not at her best.tn ln, sl Really would like to thank all who were involved with the planning and execution of this trail. I'm fairly sure at least 4 local caching families were lost never to be seen again whilst doing the initial trial runs. Great job really well executed and maintained
Found by Pat & Cheryl at 10:34 am. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache Mid North Coast Mob and this is #1049 so far for us. Staying at the coopernook hotel where there is great food and refreshments.
Spent several days in the region as part of attending an awesome geocaching camping event with cachers from all around the region. Cheers to the Browngang for their amazing work! We had 3.5 days, 63 caches, met a bunch of new friends, had way too many drinks, and encountered a dozen leeches, a brown snake, and a heap of less squirmy wildlife, and even saw a future EarthCache being created. Not to mention the DNF due to police removing the cache! What an amazing weekend.
Day 2, and the focus was on cleaning up a few caches on the map between Diamond Head and Crowdy Head (and then nip into Harrington for an ice-cream with the kids).
This was another quick find. Man there are a lot in this series! TNLN TFTC
