Found this cache in the obvious spot today. Pity that the beautiful surrounds weren't utilised here. Cache needs to be replaced as logbook is ruined and lid has fallen off.
Thanks for the effort put into this cache placement

After going to the event yesterday and googling geocaching A LOT, I thought it was time to find a cache today. Staying with friends nearby we picked this one for a start since it doesn't seem to be too hard. The logbook was a bit wrecked but research tells me that seems to be a common thing. Thanks Igor + Natalie
Found lid, container and a few scrunched up pages of logbook scattered separately across GZ. Reassembled as best I could. Needs maintenance
**Find #935**
Nice easy find on a wet morning. No muggles around today. Got to try out my new rain coat. Lots of flowering gum trees in blossom. Thanks **port63**. TFTC.

Dropped off LZZ(f) for her appointment, drove down Poplar and walked into the park. A quick find at the coords at 13:05. The log is in bad shape, mostly scrunched up paper. The container lid is loose and could disappear anytime. Cache maintenance needed. TFTC
I am visiting from the USA. Hopped off the tram and made the short walk to the cache. Found it easily. TNLNSL. Thanks.
It was a good idea to make a one day stop in our trip from New Zealand Back to Poland in Melbourne. In the morning I headed with Lady Murazor towards the Melbourne Zoo. We arrived about 8.50, so we had a few minutes to locate the event ground zero before the designated time.
When the event was over we went to the zoo to see a real platypus, there was one inside, as we got to know it was a boy. A very playful guy! Then we went for a short walk around the zoo grounds to find a few caches; as there was very hot we just got two: one traditional (this one, it was a quick find) and one EarthCache.
We have to return to Australia one day but definitely for more than one day!
No trade.
Thank you for this cache and greetings from Kraków, Poland!

Took a tram to go and see the Melbourne Zoo, saw that this one was fairly close to the tramstop so obviously I had to go and find it.

This was my very last cache, before we had to leave later this day to fly back to Germany. We had some very nice two months, in which we travelled from Cairns to Melbourne and that we now concluded with a visit to the Melbourne Zoo. And just before we entered I took the time to find the cache on the bench. However, it was not the nicest cache, I had found here in down under. It was actually very wet and some maintenance would be more than welcome here. Still, it was nice to find one last container, thank you very much!

As I was walking along the track to the zoo, feeling fedup cos I couldn't find the last one, I thought I'd have a rest and enjoy the sunshine. Curious to see if there was a gc nearby I checked the app. OMG! I reached downand there it was! Feel better now
Found while visiting zoo. Great way to finish the day. Needs new log book as just bits of paper inside. TNLNSL, TFTC.
Quick find on the way to scouting out some information for the nearby earthcache. The lid now comes off entirely but that isn't a problem re rain for obvious reasons....
Thanks for bringing me to a very well manicured part of the Melbourne Zoo/State Netball Centre complex.

After starting on the wrong side of the tracks, literally. I crossed over & got this cache! TFTC
It was almost midnight when I found this cache, at the end of a long caching day. It was a quick and easy find and it also happens to be our 2000th find. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
We had some spare time so decided to see what caches were in the area. We saw three in reasonable distance of each other so decided on this park. A quick find was made, log signed, cache replaced. TFTC.
Found this one with Poseidon a few weeks ago but guess not logged it, so here I am, enjoying my last few days of my visit. Such a relaxing location. Glad to see many families enjoying this walk on the way to the zoo. Tftc
After visiting the zoo, we thought we would have a short walk. Cold day so no muggles about. Thanks
Had to look casual for a bit until some muggles passed by then quickly to hand.
A lovely day at the zoo with friends. Time for a quick cache on the way to the car before peak hour sets in.

The Sunshine beckoned me outdoors and out for a walk. I'm staying locally and thought that I'd just grab a quick couple. Easy find. No muggles at the time. TFTC
After a few hours battling groups of small school students to get a glimpse of the animals at the zoo, this was a pleasant stroll and find. Had to rip a page from my pad to 'add anew log' so may need maintenance soon.

Found it, TFTC - made for a welcome arvo tea jog amidst a restless training day, and who knew there where two bike tracks - one either side of the train line!
Lovely day. On the way back from the Flemington market. Stopped for a bit of caching. TFTC. Needs maintenance.
Nice quick find - first find for the Rainbow_Unicorn - after our day at the zoo. TFTC
TFTC, although cache needs a proper logbook... badly... We have visited the zoo, very impressive. Totally worth it.
Found this easy one after a day at the zoo! Thought we'd try our luck in this area, as we are seldom here. Quick and easy find, but 'log book' is still an old napkin thoughtfully used by Plymouth and RoadRunna. Might need an update nice peaceful area after a long day at the zoo.

Had a nice day at the zoo so we decided to do the closest cache... Found very quickly tftc
Found this a while ago, back on the 28/1/16 I think but obviously forgot to log it. Nice easy find, thank you
Tftc. Found cache but no log to sign. So we found a old piece of napkin. Used this as a temporary log. Great location it was a nice walk in another part of Melbourne i didnt know about.
Log book missing so made do with a nearby item we could write on. Nice walk on a pleasant Saturday afternoon. TFTC
