17/12/19 down from QLD for a holiday and today we are doing some local caches.
Looked hard in all the logical places but couldn’t find.

We're currently having a bit of a getaway in Launceston, and figured today would be a great day to try to track down a few caches. We've previously paid a visit to the "dam end" of Lake Trevallyn, and had planned for a while to head for the caches at the northern end of the lake. Today ended up being the day!
We loved the scenery on the way to this cache, what a lovely spot! And what a great view of the lake from here! Being from Hobart, there are no water-skiing clubs near to home (at least, as far as we're aware of), so it was kind of unusual for us to see the ski-jump just minding it's own business in the middle of the lake!
Fortunately this cache didn't give us much trouble, so with the formalities completed we were soon back in the car and headed for our next cache!

Tassie Trip Day 189 - This was a day the it was decided to collect the oldest cache in Tassie and along the way we found a few more to add to the list of found caches. It was a wonderful place for a drive and a great day to see some sights.
Well with the other member of the team making a walk along a few tracks we took the GeoVehicle around to the other end of the track and collected the nearby cache.

I think that the co-ordinates are a little off as I was heading for a certain spot but not where my GPS was telling me, and sure enough it was the cache which I soon had in hand and then signed. TFTC.

We found your cache **"Anyone for skiing"** at 11:51:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18973).
We are camped in Launceston for a couple of nights, and today we headed to Lake Trevallyn to log a few caches. We thoroughly enjoyed our trek around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes on our journey. Our find count for today was 5 caches, with 2 DNF's.
Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 8m from where the GPS said we should be looking, but the location was really obvious.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Flew over to Launceston for a days caching to escape Melbourne’s heat.
I think that it is just as hot over here.
The roads are nice and quiet today so it made for an enjoyable day picking up random caches.
Parked in the parking area and strolled down the hill to GZ.
Sat down and waited for a couple of boats to be retrieved and the jet skiers to continue on their way and I soon had the cache in hand.
Lovely spot down here and good to see people out enjoying the water.
The log book is full had trouble finding a spot to leave my mark.

Had a couple of goes as there were plenty of people about and my phone was bouncing all over. So we walked along the path and found a couple of others and came back- and there it was! Log needs replacing. I had to sign in the middle where there was a space.thanks yet again for doing this for us all.
Nope, no skiing - just bushwalking today, but very rewarding views and it turned out to be a great walk with lots of caches

Come to sticky beak at the floods and find this cache near by. In the wrong geomobile so couldn't replace the very full log sheets.
We spent the day caching with deercheetah in the beautiful Trevallyn Reserve. At GZ ausandaus2 headed in the wrong direction so another mighty quick victory for the deer. Thanks for the cache.

This was a quick find and we took in the great view of the very low water in the river before moving on to the next one.
After attending the Trevallyn event we spent the day doing a loop of caches starting with The Knob and ending with Anyone for Equestrian six hours later, along the way we lost cachers and found leaches.
We started out with ten of us but finished with only 5 at each cache we were thinking we would meet up again but it never happened.

A quick find of this neatly hidden cache but seriously we were so distracted by the extremely low water level. The boat ramp doesn't reach the water and the jetty is high and dry. The place was deserted! TFTC
TFTC had to wait for a muggle to load their boat before I could grab this one.
A lovely spot and an easy find at the end of the track. Now time to make out way back and try and find the two at the other end which gave us a little more trouble! TFTC
Today was day 51 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and we are enjoying day 9 of the Tasmanian part.
This was a nice quick and easy cache to find even though some muggles were bringing a boat out of the water. The cache was in the first place checked. After signing the log the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Still struggling with the flu but Mr Felix decided that he would attempt a reasonable walk today. But we made this one a park n grab first. Few muggles out on the water skiing but no muggles on land.
Looking forward to meeting local cachers at the Event on 17th October.
