Met at 8.30 in Jarrahdale with iluvtrekking, Sevabo and Everlasting to tackle the latest release of Civilization caches. Beautiful day to be out caching although Everlasting found that she was a 'tick magnet', after finding several on her throughout the day. Signed logs as team R.I.S.E. Have wanted to do the Icky series for some time so perfect to fit in with our schedule today. Thanks briantbg
Great day out for caching with Everlasting, iluvtrekking and richlink

We teamed up with richlink, Everlasting and sevabo today to enjoy the bush land and caches in the Jarradale area. We really appreciated the effort and thought that has been put into these caches, well done briantbg. We signed the logs using our team name for the day R.I.S.E.
Quick find whilst doing maintenance in the area. Track is a bit overgrown. Tftc.
Found while on a maintenance run for civilization series. Thanks for the hide. Took the trackable
Quick find by geo son. Lovely area for lunch and allowing the kids to explore especially at the moment with all the tadpoles in the creek.
Was out this way for the recent additions to the Civilisation series and noticed that this one was almost within spitting distance, so of course we had to come out for a look-see. Found the cache without any problems. Even dropped in a small trackable to continue it's journey. This seldom visited cache will no doubt receive more frequent visits in the future. Thanks for the smiley briantbg
Out for a day caching with Mistraluna, decided to do the new Civilisation caches , found all with no Dnf, yippee. tftc,sl, tnln. the weather gods were good to us. all caches in good order, can't wait to see your next lot of caches.thx.

15 Finds and only one DNF at the end of the day, some beautiful flowers in the forest.
Another picturesque spot, fave point from us. TFTH

Todays mission was the Icky series 1-4. This was my first stop and a lovely hidden spot with an easily found cache in the first place i looked. Thank you for bringing me here and TFTC Briantbg
Hi there briantbg - We found *** Icky No4 today - our find # 3848. I decided to come out and play while the weather was holding off (perhaps rain tomorrow). SL.Thanks to briantbg for the cache.
Headed out with Skippy 46 to finish off the nearby series and after we finished we detoured off to grab this cache. We drove to within 50 metres of GZ and then did the short walk to the cache. The cache was found on the ground so after signing the log we replaced it back in its hidey hole. TFTC brianbg
After finishing the nearby series ooh yeh and I came out here to rectify the green box.
It was an easy find as it was on the ground, clearly whatever lives in the hole doesn't like it there but I placed it back inside with a little rock to keep it safe.

I woke up this morning and decided to head out to some of the outlying parts of Jarrahdale. I gave Kyzabra a call and he was keen to get out there as well.
A short stroll after leaving the ute behind, and we had the simple cache here found. We added our names to the log and continued on.
TFTC.

Found today it's a lovely little place here we had time for a walk around. Still lots of ants on the crossing not a lot of water now though. Thanks for showing us and we look forward to finding the other ones another day.
2nd trek into this area in a fortnight, this time here to hide a cache that will be published on Geocaching Australia in not too distant future, and with enough daylight hours to do the Icky caches as well.
Finished the series with this one ... and the last cache of the day for me. Don't think I did these in the optimal order though as I had to back track along Halstead and Appian roads after doing No2.
Great spot here ... wish I'd had time to stop for a cuppa, but it was time to head home. Giving this one a fav for the series and the location
SL. Thanks for the hide and the series briantbg ... so glad I got back to do them.

Found it while out with our grandchildren. The million ants at the crossing made it interesting but it was only the adults who got bitten.
Nice spot. TFTC.

A wonderful spot. Would be great when the creek is running. Will be worth a return visit during winter. Thanks for bringing us here
I cycled to this cache from Emu Rock and after a short walk off the trail I found, the cache was uncovered and signed. A very peaceful, serene location here. Thanks for bringing me to this spot briantbg
Out exploring the bush (and of course finding some caches ) with my family... Dad found this one! TFTC briantbg
Out for a day exploring the Jarrahdale State Forest, we had a bit of a picnic lunch before setting our sights on this cache... We followed our GPSr towards Banksia Gully Rd then with 70m to go bashed our way to GZ! The cache was quickly found as it was lying on the ground...
Jase took care of the logbook whilst we headed down to check out the creek... Such a surprise as it was not what we were expecting to find all the way out here! Absolutely beautiful... We cannot wait to return & spend some more time here [^]
TFTC and for showing us this awesome spot briantbg... We enjoyed it so much, that we drove around and found out which way would take us straight to the little creek Cache has been replaced back in it's spot, so all should be good for now

Nice ride in. Cool little billabong. I wonder if the trees are dying due to water stress or dieback. ez find t4tc.
FTF somewhere between 1 and 2
We arrived here after a long day of fighting through never ending paths, logs and rocks.
We weren't sure about the rule or motor bikes around this area but as we made our way in it was soon evident that it was illegal a we were stopped by a water corp guy on multiple occasions!
So we spent the day with the motor bikes on the trailer.
But as for the cache the co ordinates were spot on and I found the cache within seconds of arriving at GZ
We took the FTF coin and signed the log we were soon on our way again
This was the last cache we did while in the area
Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
