###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Sadly CO is no longer around to maintain this one and a string of DNF's suggest is gone.
We looked around but found nothing.
Maybe someone that has done it can check on it or point is in the right direction.

I really didn’t want to DNF this one as I hear the Co is no longer with us.
I’d like to think the cache would live on in his memory.
I looked at all the obvious places and unless it’s camo dirt or dead grass I’m not sure it’s there.
If a previous finder could confirm of its continued existence that would be a great help.

Out and about with Neva2old, happy to be say we came up trumps here with a nice quick find here, and that view, just beautiful TFTC
First time I've seen one quite like this. Smart, provided it is replaced properly, which it wasn't when I found it.
Lived nearby for much of my life and rarely ventured up here. Nice spot and a great wee cache. Thanks vidahoy.
found it. TFTC vidahoy. The view was great but the cache was even better. It just seemed to blend in to the enviroment so well.
. Nice walk up the hill. Great view...Would have like to spend more time enjoying the view, but had places to be..
Clever little cache..

Snapchat day for geocaching. A quick find here after visiting the hairdresser nearby. TFTC
Spotted on approach, so quickly retrieved before taking a lap of the facility. Was surprised to find the obelisk and even more so to see what looks like an oil platform just off the coast??? TFTC vidahoy.
I was in the area today, and so I decided that I would have a go at tackling this cache. I parked next to GZ, and immediately stumbled upon the cache. It took a little while for me to extract, but I soon got it out.
vidahoy, I found your cache ‘SURVEY the VIEW’ today. It was the third find of four finds for me today and brings my total count to 825. The cache was found in a good condition so I added my signature to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

Out caching for the afternoon with Lazarus. Parked up close to the cache and spotted the hide quite quickly, now all I had to do was retrieve the log and sign it. Great location and cammo on the hide, many thanks for the cache,
14461. Found this one during a short visit to Perth/WA for work.
I was in the area doing another cache when I saw this trad nearby with lots of Fav points. Couldn'y let that one go without trying it ! Parked right near GZ for a quick find - very nice ! And great views as well.
Thanks vidahoy !! Adding my FP to the list !

With no signs warning of the lack of turn around options I drove right up to the cache.
Found quite quickly and with the log sheet soaked and disintegrating in my hand I searched the car and was able to find a small zip lock bag and some scrap paper to replace the log sheet.

Out on a great afternoon of Geocaching and Munzee hunting and we decided to find this cool cache!
Vidahoy, we found your geocache "SURVEY the VIEW" around 2:30pm on the 17th of April 2017. When we found your cool cache it was in a good condition and replaced it as found.
This cache deserves another fav!

vidahoy, I found your cache SURVEY the VIEW dry and healthy . That was a brilliant camo work [^]! SL TFTH. Image shows: Facing west-southwest (altitude=86m) towards the Indian Ocean and Rottnest Island.
Being shown around Perth by my son and he brought me up here to see the sights. I thought humm this would be a good place for a cache, checked phone and we were about 70M away from this one. A very neat and crafty hide, can't say more without spoiling things. Log all signed up and returned. TFTC
After striking out at "which way to WWII" made the short walk up boundary road with the geo wife were she made a quick find here

Out and about with Me&B today yet again taking advantage of the public holiday. Drove up and almost parked right on top of the cache. [8)] I'd seen this type of camo before so made a quick find here. TFTC
Hi there vidahoy - We found SURVEY the VIEW today - our find # 3654. After spending time this morning at Cottesloe we did some Geocaching close by before returning home (to Armadale). The well disguised cache was found quickly and the container and log are both in good condition. SL. Thanks to vidahoy for the cache.
We are in Perth for a few days so decided to go and find some caches as we usually do when travelling.
We drove right up to GZ. Deb spotted the hide straight away which was very lucky as it is very sneaky. A favourite point from us. TNLNSL TFTC

Must read cache descriptions properly Missed the parking area entirely as I was looking at the big sign that said no entry [:o)] Good thing it was Sunday and no-one around, parked right beside GZ. A quick find of a well constructed cache. Signing duties done a multi pt turn and back the way we came.
A fave for this one. TFTC.

I had been reading a local newspaper just hours before, advising folks not to go up here alone, which caused me a bit of anxiety, but I still live to tell the tale. The crafty cache was quickly spotted, so was able to clear off without too much hanging about. Admired the wonderful views then headed back down the hill to the nearby earth cache.
Many thanks to the cache maintenance people.

I admit it, I'm not a very good navigation system, I can't be trusted not to accidentally send the driver past the parking way point, I get too focused on GZ.
Luckily we weren't in the spot for very long. AusLoron checked out the view, I checked out something that seemed a little out of place, AusLoron found enough broken tiles for a giant mosaic, I found the crafty cache. A great construction.
Thanks to the people who take care of all the caches that were placed by vidahoy. They are an excellent legacy, and it's great that they can still be enjoyed by geocachers now.

After driving all the way up and practically parking on the cache (thanks to my Elrin based navigation system) we found this one quickly. Then the trick was reversing the car all the way back down!
Great construction! Very quick find at GZ this morning and great views from up there. I used to live about 200m down the road but moved 25km North just before geocaching started in 2000. Thank you for the cache vidahoy.
well done I saw it but did not see it Took a bit of walking back and forth until it had to be

Great little cache, my first is WA this trip except for the nearby GCA trig. Clever little thing and great views. Cheers from Sydney!
First one this morning on a beautiful sunny day and you could see forever. What a great view and an exceptionally clever cache, brilliant in its simplicity, thanks for the cache and another smiley on my map
Originally found under family caching name clan-wallace, now re logging under own name.
The view would be spectacular on a fine day but we didn't see much today, in compensation I went straight to it. A well constructed cache. Worthy of a Fave. Who is looking after these now?
Very well camoed but the eagle eyed one was immediately suspicious and grabbed it only to find the cache was in the hand. Loved it, TFTC
Find 12 of 14 on a bike ride around Mosman Park and North Freo.
After an excellent lunch at the Bittersweet bakery on Wellington, our tummies were full for the strenuous ride up to this cache. Great views were to be had today. Mr. O. walked straight up to this one even though he had been expecting something else. This is another well constructed cache.

The hardest thing was to find a quick way to GZ. Having done this, I located the cache whilst megawat60 was still getting out of the GeoJazz.
I have many regrets in not finding out about geocaching years ago, and one of them is not having met Mr vidahoy, as I have enjoyed his caches and the WWII Tunnels nearby.
TFTC, a favourite for great workmanship!

Out with m4yb after visiting the Men's Shed in the neighbourhood and as I was navigator today I nearly got her lost! But she is more familiar with the area. On arrival near GZ she said how far and I said 4 now 6 metres, so she stopped and asked if I wanted her to reverse. I declined and by the time I was out of the car she had the log in hand and was completing duties.
Great view and very sneaky hide. Thanks so much vidahoy.
Great view and very sneaky hide. Thanks so much vidahoy.
My idea of what this cache might be was also spot on. I walked straight up to it this morning with not one person anywhere to be seen. Just how I like things to be. A really, really well constructed cache. I understand from reading other logs that vidahoy is no longer with us. What a shame. The few vidahoy caches I have done have been fantastic creations. I look forward to looking for and finding more. (I'm off now to look for the OTC Cable cache). Thank you vidahoy for this most interesting cache. A favourite awarded.
My idea of what this hide would be was spot on so it was an instant find. What a magnificent view from up here. The cache is pretty much muggle proof, ensuring this should last for some time to come.
Our first cache in W.A!!!!
This was a really nice area with a great view.
We found it very quickly but it was still a great hide.

Found it while early morning geocaching before work. My favourite cache I've seen. Very clever. TFTC
Call me a Billy goat, since I parked in the wrong spot and did the climb the hard way! Great view, but the pesky flies just about saw me lose my head.
Mum & Dad took us to visit the WWII Tunnels today & we found a few caches in the area too... This was one we of them
Thanks Vidahoy [^]

After visiting the WWII Tunnels today, we headed up the hill in search of this cache... A quick find was made here as I had already guessed exactly what it was that we were looking for
TFTC Vidahoy It is such a shame that this area is like a dumping ground, as the views from here are spectacular!

Quick find once at the GZ. Found the log was full so knowing vidahoy is sadly no longer with us I replaced the log with a new one I had in my bag of goodies.

This was another find in Western Australia while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches .
We quickly found this perfectly camouflaged box while exploring Perth and surroundings . Nice view up there [^].
Thanks for the cache, we've enjoyed it very much [^].

A very nice cache and view. The council has done some work up here but it all looks a bit unloved. Shame! TFTC
On our way home from Cottesloe we decided to stop by here and grab a smiley. It took us a while because we don't know this area very well and we seemed to find a few dead end streets. After a while we managed to park the car close and made the wee trek up the hill. Spotted the cache pretty much straight away (a great camo here) and signed the log. TFTC vidahoy
Nicely done. We did the walk around the top. Amazing to think they dismantled the entire rock beacon, and rebuilt it again.

Decided to get a last day of caching in with skippy 46 before i go to bali in the morning. Had another successful day with 26 finds and no DNFS. Most caches were easy finds with a few that took a bit of searching and a couple of sneaky hides to make it a bit more interesting. We did the short walk up the hill and i spotted the cache straight away as i have a hide the same. Great view, TFTC vidahoy
After a short steep walk, that had the thigh muscles working hard, we mad e quick find as ooh yeh has one the same down our neck of the woods. Will never tire of fantastic views.

Love this cache. Had to evict a mollusc that had moved in. Just learnt of CO's fate through logs so decided to pay homage to the Pumpkin King by visiting Purely Pumpkin.
