It's a sad day when an administrator decides to unilaterally disable a cache which has had a sensible temporary fix created by the owner. This fix, at the height of the tourist season in this part of Tasmania, continued to enable the many tourists visiting the area to locate and experience a walkway they may not otherwise have found. By disabling the cache the administrator has denied further tourists the pleasurable experience of finding and walking on this walkway. Being away interstate at the time the cache was muggled I simply asked people to take a photo of themselves at the spot as the cache had disappeared after 4 1/2 years with zero problems. That should not be a big deal in any body's book.
Sorry, you need to maintain this cache properly, by replacing the container and log.
I've temporarily disabled it to give you time to do so.
If proper maintenance is not performed within 30 days it will need to be archived.

Came to find but saw the note. Shame its gone but we got to see the train and the gorgeous pinky purple sky.
It seems that after 5&1/2 years this has finally been muggled.
I'd like to change this to a virtual cache thus making it un-muggable.
Finders at GZ should simply take a selfie with either the bank or the water in the background in order to prove they found the spot and so can claim being a finder.

Our fifth day in Tasmania and we are in Strahan. Quiet little town and very pleasant to easily around. Hello from Calgary, Canada. TFTC.
Afternoon find on a beautiful day. Logs are a bit damp. Threw out the plastic bag as the bottom was ripped out.

Found with AddictedGamer and Youban. Parked close by after watching the train park itself in the shed. Love this town, it’s such a sweet place. Quick find of the cache thanks to the hint and accurate coords. Tftc!!!
Out with Dty73 & AddG looking for a couple of caches. Luckily we were able to watch the train driver put the engine to bed. Thanks for bringing us down this way. Kutgw
Quickly grabbed this one just before the start of a showing for "The Ship That Never Was". Ended up being a great play in a great spot.
Tried to walk down directly but had no luck so walked along the road for a bit, found the path, then came across the embankment.
Nice easy find and our most southern too! Slightly obscured but amazing view.
Thanks for the cache!

Quiet day in Strahan today. Mild weather and a bit overcast. Easy find. All in good condition. TFTC
We made a quick grab of this one as the sun went down Strahan really is very pretty.
Nice easy find, but the walk was longer from hotel than I thought! Pencil is blunt and bag needs replacing, sorry I had none of these on me as I walked before breakfast.

I had seven great days in Tasmania. Beside of enjoying the beautifull countryside I also made some geocaching and found a lot of great spots out there. This was one of it.
Thanks to thomarter for hiding and maintaining this geocaches.

Visiting Tassie for a few days so great to get some caches whilst here. We spent a couple of nights in this interesting area and found this cache whilst on a very scenic walk.
Thanks for the cache thomarter.

Quick find. Unfortunately the view to Strahan is blocked by bushes and trees.
Danke für den Cache - TFTC!

A bit of a walk from the center of town, but I needed to have at least one Geocache find for my cycling trip in Tasmania.
We stayed near this cache, with the old steam train across the road to entertain us. Strahan is lovely and we hope to return sometime. TFTC.
Mr T had to perform a lot of "look at watch impatiently waiting arrival of Mrs T" antics as a party slowly walked past. The find, when left to his own devices was quick & easy. TFTC.
Visiting from Adelaide and couldn't resist looking for a cache. Nice easy find on a beautiful evening. TFTC.
Stopped here after dinner to find a quick cache and we found one, also met a few muggles while we were at it.

TFTC nice easy find on our way to do the West Coast Wilderness Railway. GrennyDar
Another cache search with dad (his second). And he managed to find it before me! Thanks for this lovely find!
an easy find in the drizzle whilst spending a couple od days in lovely Strahan. TFTC from Spain
After checking in to the YHA, I went for a walk, hoping the weather would stay stable enough to go to this cache and back again. The weather forecast expected a thunderstorm this evening, and the dark clouds confirmed their skills... Lucky enough it only started to rain after I was back at the hostel.
Thanks for the hide (making me go for a nice evening stroll), thomarter!

Nice quick find. TFTC.
The cache could use a new bag for the log book if someone has one handy.

Nice spot for a cache quick find while in town loved finding all these caches as we have travelled around tassie thanks for all the hiders you have made our trip more fun
Was good to reminisce about the Franklin trip ending here almost 9 years ago (how times flies). Big day, lots of finds, and now for dinner and logging. TFTC.
Last cache for us for the day as we'd had a fairly big drive from Richmond caching all the way. This was an easy walk by grab - a bit obvious so made it a little less obvious. TFTC
Great views. Nothing like a 20m stroll in the morning to get the blood pumping.
Thanks to thomarter and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

We strolled off to get the cache, then someone stormed past us like they'd done some damage in their pants...I'd rather stroll anyday
Many thanks thomarter from the Wacky one

Quick and easy find with great coordinates. Book only has a few pages left, will need replacing soon.
