Seems we were not done with checking out areas and caches of the area. After an eventful day and night we decided to head out and check on some other areas of interest and grab a cache or two before heading back to Brisbane. In this area was a Multi which was fun to do and had us searching in all sorts of places. A couple of trads and a nice easy adventure lab. We walked around and enjoyed the walk even in the rain or between showers. We signed the log and returned it as found.
So serene walking through this area. Thank you for placing this cache here. Will bring the family back. TFTC.
Found with KabbellaQld on 30/4/24. Adding now that I have a premium subscription.
Nice hide no issues with construction though at first glance it appears there would be.
We took a detour to the lovely Maroochy Botanical Gardens on our way home from Mapleton today and were very glad we did. We enjoyed our exploration, following the winding paths until we arrived near GZ. Unfortunately we couldn’t go any further as the path is being upgraded so after finding the cache we had to retrace our steps. This was a pretty spot to have a picnic and we were lucky no one was here so we could search unimpeded. Thanks jasenjanine
Not behind the barrier. No staff working today, as there was for the previous geocacher. Clever hide so a from me.
Coords had us at the table but we quickly located it. Thanks for placing this cache jasenjanine
After attending GS1947’s event in Caboolture BM75 and I decided that a return visit to the Sunshine Coast would fill the day nicely…
So after pretending I knew something about archaeology in a search for a long abandoned town we spent the day targeting park’n’grabs that turned out to be anything but… with the map only showing caches that neither of us had found (thank you Cachly) and me as navigator our route was hardly conventional…
Here it was about the numbers… the gardens and art were an added bonus…
Thanks jasenjanine

Managed to snag this one while doing the AL in here. Lucky the construction area at GZ was done for the day, so I was able to get to GZ without an audience.
For the second week in a row I jumped in the Geo van and headed north for a few days of caching. I spent Friday night staying near the glass house mountains before kicking off the day with a few traditional
After making my way to ground zero I quickly spied the hide, which I soon extracted and made my mark on the log. The cache was quickly replaced into its hides hole and I was soon on my way.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

For me today, this was the only easy find as I peddled around on my tredley around this lovely area of bushland. Once at GZ, I feared the cache was in the construction zone. This cache got really lucky too, literally right next to the fencing for construction. Unfortunately I found the lid and contents loose, but after replacing the saturated logsheet everything is good to go once more. Hope this one doesn't get muggled again. Thanks for bringing me here jasenjanine!
Nice and easy find here, although arriving near the location, I did wonder if the cache would still be there, as there are works going on right at GZ. Found the cache quickly. Wet log, so I took a pic instead to prove that I was here, if required. TFTC
jasenjanine I found your cache MBG - Surprise Event Cache on 5/5/2022, 11:20 am. This is my find 3450 and find # 1 today. No body around for a quick and easy find. Logbook wet, placed a slip of paper to sign. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found it. Very busy area with a couple of kids parties on. 9 year old was very quick at spotting this one. Cool hide. TFTC
Great hiding spot ! There is a building site and it seems like it could be in it, but it’s not.
Rather than disrupt a wedding ceremony being conducted nearby, we decided to head to this one first. TFTC.
The little rascal found the most creative way to retrieve the cach. It was so much fun definitely recommend this one and have never been to the botanical Gardens before thank you so much for this adventure
Great spot, lots of work happening around at the moment. Had to be a bit sneaky.
Thank you so much. The place is surprisingly spectacular, although I wouldn't call it an easy find. Do not be tricked by the crab or crayfish traps by the lagoon - they're not your cache! Enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The cache itself is quite wet and the log inside it should be replaced. We put it all in a waterproof bag but the current state of the log isn't satisfactory. Tftc.
Someone hadn’t put the lid on properly - had to cross my fingers and retrieve. Swapped some bits with Geokid
It was easy to spot the hiding spot. But I was surprised how big the container was when I pulled the string.
Beautiful setting and easiest to get to via the narrowest end of the lagoon. There's a small bridge not marked on the trails.

Another spot in these great garden, LaKedi and Just a Trifle kept watch as I grabbed this cache from it's hidey hole.
Thanks
Thanks
Love these gardens for the geokids. Visited with geogran and some muggles who are now hooked on Geocaching too!
Out for a wet Wednesday of caching with 1minniemoo.
This was our second cache for the day and what a nicely placed and cleverly secured cache it is!

Wacky Wednesday with wombles and co today. Unfortunately our other partner in crime, NyssaFlutterby, couldn’t make it today, so we decided to target caches that she had already done.
A check of the map revealed the Botanic Gardens here would be a perfect spot to head to. Parking the car, we made our way in, noticing the overcast drizzly day would possibly seriously hamper today’s GPS signal.
Having grabbed the multi first, we headed to this one next to make a nice quick find of a well secured container.
The lid was also well secured as it took quite some effort to unscrew it! But persistence prevailed, and we soon had our names in the log.
Thanks for the cache jasenjanine.

How was it possible that I could literally stare at the cache and not see it !
My geowife ŕechecked the same spot and by magic it appeared.
Thanks jasonjanine

Found with FaiTe. My iPhone GPS jumped around ... but I went with the obvious and made the find. Great hide. TFTC
Found on a day out caching with the family while on holidays.

Nice easy find on a beautiful day. Log nearly full and a little wet but was still able to sign.
Our today's trip around brought us to this awesome Botanical Garden. We are quite regularly here, but with motorbikes and not really time for walking around.
Today we made the Lagoon walk, the Whipbird walk, the Fern Glade, the Moss Garden and the Sculpture walk. We enjoyed every area and crowned it by a cache.
Thanks to the COs for their efforts to show us around!
Tftc

Found on a wander around this beautiful place! Thanks for placing this cache here.
Despite it being a Sunday afternoon, there was no one within cooee of this spot as I approached, and my first hunch about where the cache might be proved correct. I also found a piece of dry log with several caching names on it on the ground next to GZ, which was a bit weird because the last logged find was over two weeks ago. Anyway, that's the log that I added my name to, then I placed it back in the container and returned everything to its right place. All good here. Thanks, jasenjanine!
Out today with raynersinoz and Mrs Slow Puncture grabbing a few caches north of home. I had mentioned that I didn't want to find many under 2/2 and Mrs SP didn't want to find many micros so we had filtered our finds which meant the ones we did find today were brilliant.
I learnt here that Mrs SP doesn't always know the best way to the cache. I went one way, directly to GZ and she went the other.... I waited for her to catch up and we started searching. I then looked in a spot she already had and bingo! The cache. Granted, she barely slept the night before. We soon had our names in the logbook and we were off to the next one. Thanks for the cache jasenjanine

Wednesday. Mrs RIO, who was the designated driver for today, was taking Net88 and myself around this very pretty area (which I never knew existed) so that we could grab some caches. Mrs RIO had already found this one, so left both Net88 and myself to find this one. After looking into the location, I swore blind that there was nothing there… Well, we got the cache anyway, signed the log and replaced as found
This was the 9th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***jasenjanine***, for showing us this place.

As we count down to the big 5000 a leisurely walk around the gardens revealed a cache or two! Quick find here! TFTC
Didn’t quite make my needed numbers yesterday. So it’s up very early grabbing caches on the way to my target. Last night some time was taken planning good caches to collect. This is one of the great accessible, well maintained, found recently urban caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache so I can achieve my great plan. I apologise for the generic log but I need to log quickly so I can count down.

On a walk through the gardens, collecting caches as we go. No-one around the GZ today, so we were able to make a quick find. TFTC!
The great 5,000th countdown continues for JACS Team and this was picked up by the group as we went clock-wise round the Maroochy Botanic Gardens to narrow the gap. Had my boy looking eyes on and missed the container, somehow. Others in the group were a lot more observant than I. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot jasenjanine.
I was fluffing around here awhile till mum (sunshine58) gently suggested a hide and log was soon being signed and hud.
Left an appropriate trackable i've had too long now.
Thanks for the cache!

Well it's Thursday, which can only mean one thing...another caching day with barbbowman! We've come back up the Sunny Coast again today to continue with our ILTL adventures...can't wait to see what we're going to find!
I have never visited these gardens before and they are lovely. One of my target caches for today is the earthcache here, but there are a few other caches in here that I haven't found. The weather was looking a bit threatening, but I said to bb, "nah, it;s not going to rain". Oh how wrong I was...at least it's sun showers and not cold, LOL! It didn't take me long to find this one and suprisingly I doubt that any muggles will come across it. TFTC jasenjanine

Great area for cache this one is still in great condition the notebook is damp so will need be replaced soon.
Out with Tessmann on the trail of a couple of caches in these beautiful botanical gardens. After a minor complication in deciding where we were it was quickly found by one of the crew. TFTC
Notebook is a bit damp but still usable. Look twice or three times in the place you think it is.
What a beautiful place to play and explore. Cache was quickly in hand with other geocachers in the area
