### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there MADSTARS,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

There's no structure anymore. There's a cache but it desperately needs maintainence as water has gotten into the systema and log books pages are stuck together.. No tb.
Found this on sunset on the way back from a vet visit. Was a little confused with the description but all good in the end.

Suscoe headed out today for a wander to the north east of Sale.
It was a delightful day with plenty of sunshine but a cold wind kept us aware that Winter is not far off.
We enjoyed a lovely drive through the countryside, lots of trees, cattle and some sheep. We also saw a lot of parrots along the road sides.
We had returned to Sale.
After reading the cache notes we were surprised that when we arrived at Ground Zero there was no tower to be seen.
Much to our surprise the cache container was still there although the contents were spread around the area.
After signing the log book we put the cache in a more secure location, the hint is no longer relevant.
Thanks to MADSTARS.

We headed back home to finalise some details before heading off on the big trip. We noticed this cache just off the main highway and decided to grab it. We pulled up to the lovely rusty old structure and made our way to GZ. We found the cache very quickly. We picked it up and opened it, and it was full of ants and water. We tipped out the water and attempted to dry the log, but it bordered on paper mache. We could prise open the pages to the most recently used page and make our mark on the page. It definitely needs some maintenance. Thank you for this cache, MADSTARS.
Was unable to sign the log as its wet. Also appears to be an ants nest in the cache.

On our way to Lakes entrance and stopped for this cache on the way, the cache is full of ants and the log book is wet . Thanks for the cache

*Cache find # 12257.*
Today I headed off on a two day trip wayout East as I was needing two more maps for the UBD map challenge but along the way I stopped of at a few other caches of interest.
After completing what I intended to do, I was now making my way towards home occasionally stopping along the way if there was a cache about.
Once I was at this one the cache was found, then I was back on the road.
**Thanks to MADSTARS for placing this cache.**

On my way to Bairnsdale for a few days of work, but needed to stretch my legs.
Found cache in the obvious location.
Cheers for the cache.

Thanks Madstars, found this one using my feeble memory alone. On a Sunday dash up to Sale, it was my intension to deposit a travel bug at a nearby cache but my #$@##$# phone wasn't picking up 3G. So using memory alone I searched for a water tower. So Stella will soon be in the hands of the next Cacher to pass by. She has been too long in the Yarra Valley. Regards from Victourer
Quick find on the way back from Sale. Avoided the big spider just above the cache. Thanks.
In Sale for a week and headed down the highway for a bit of caching today and this was our first stop. Great to see the original container and log book still there for a cache that is almost 10 years years old....and such an open hide as well. Log was signed and we headed off further afield.
Thanks MADSTARS....been a while since I found a cache of yours....fav point for the location.

Now that’s how you do geocaching. A passing rain band, who wants to get wet. Not us!!! A great turn off the road to this one and the perfect description had us pull up right next to the appropriate spot at the tower. Drivers door open right at the GZ. Rusty gold this tower is.
Container a little wet but the bag had done it’s job. A stamp added. TFTC

Nice, easy find today - which was appreciated as it was quite early in the day! Thank you.
Impressive! Decommissioned water tower? Quickly located in good nic - nice. Enroute to the NE via Dargo after handing on the ‘carers baton’. Of course it’s quiet on the roads but that doesn’t make it a shorter trip when a few distractions pop up at rest stops. Cache quickly located in its safe spot. Obligatory photo taken. TFTC and the fun!
Having to do a delivery to New South Wales we thought that we would take the opportunity to take a more scenic route and grab a few caches along the way.
This is a nice old tower that we assume was in use during the steam train era, although now no longer used it has certainly held up well. It would have been great to be here and watched it when it was in use but for what we were after today we were very happy that it was a deserted area meaning that we could search freely and the cache was located quite quickly and our name was added to the log..
Many thanks MADSTARS for a nice drive by.

Can’t believe how many times I have driven past this water tower and never realised that something was hidden here! Thanks for the find!
Found easy.
However it was wet.
We dried it all out and replaced the log bag (log was dry).
It’s in ok shape now but looks like it will only cope with one more summer.
It nicely blends into its surrounds.

We're on a road trip from one part of regional Victoria to another regional area to visit family now that the Covid-19 restrictions have eased for those of us who live in the countryside. This cache was one of those we decided to grab as we passed.

This rusty old structure is quite evident as you drive towards it. I love old rust and I think I was able to keep it away from my clean jumper while I was searching for the cache. I spied the cache from the opposite side of the structure. It was then easily retrieved and the log signed. I wonder what it was there for originally.
Hooray for a quick and easy find with Mad Dog Bros, lots of goodies inside, we left something too
